1981  Local / Mineração em Geral / Re: Dificuldade e factor ASIC on: November 19, 2012, 03:40:32 PM

1983  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Valorização do BTC e desvalorização do LTC. on: November 16, 2012, 04:01:03 PM

1985  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: At 440 Mhash/s should I be solo mining or continue in slush's pool on: November 16, 2012, 10:16:40 AM
yes.. You wouldn't want to solo mine.. Mine on a PPS pool. You can continue to mine for as long as you want.. The rewards will continue to drop. Some people act because the reward is halving everyone is just going to drop out.

ASIC's will not be in peoples hands within two weeks....

Totally agree, ppl never stop saying about ASIC's, but until no one has one in hands, there's no reason to be scammed by a "lab".

PPS pools are the best option, it will make more BTC since solo mining means harder work to get the blocks.

Nice description of a 100% secure way of no malware and whateverware on your PC.

I believe that like most of the uninstallers, Litecoin doesn't remove the files from "%APPDATA%/Litecoin". Downloading all the whole blocks is a pain in the a**, but some of those files could be corrupted.

oh yeah have fun hacking my wallet which will take you days and yield you about 3 litecoins and ZERO bitcoins. have fun with that.

If someone is going to hack your wallet, remember that is a program that do the work, the hard work is to "put" the program in the PC, if you encrypt your wallet, even a keyboard hook do the work Smiley

Isn't LQC(LiquidCoin) working?

I know that this currency sucks, but I have read about coinotrom and vircurex working with LQC.
LQC has always the same diff(0.05), so CPU mine stills a good option if you don't pay for electricity.
What changes is how much LQC have "inside" each block, so it started with 50 like any other and is degrading, it should be around ~30 by now, last time I saw was 36.

Brazilian, 18 years old.
No miner, no investor, just a user to see how the BTC and other coins evolves.
It has been some weeks since I know about this whole things of crypto-currencies.

My general account will probably be to start-up motivating donations from my flash games(I only have 2 projects, no open beta yet, only testing with a friend and me), and getting some free BTC trough the free sites and faucets.

Not a pro, but high knowledge for Delphi(up to XE), so, feel the need for some help? Want a tutorial? Want to get started on flash games only with free resources? PM me, I would love to help Cheesy

1989  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: PREDICT BIT COIN VALUE. on: November 13, 2012, 03:40:19 PM
Well, it probably will have a bit of incerase since the cost to mine new Bitcoins increase, but things aren't simple math, so no, it will not double.

If the price doubles, it isn't because of the halving of the blocks value.

1990  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can You Convert Litecoins to Bitcoins? on: November 13, 2012, 01:47:26 PM
@Owendarto: I believe that making a question that has nothing do to with the topic isn't nice, but anyway I will answer:

Litecoins is another crypto-currency, but it uses the Scrypt method instead of SHA256, which means that it's a bit harder for mining and CPU mining was worth at the start with low difficulty.
1991  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Error loading blkindex.dat on: November 06, 2012, 09:30:54 PM
Execute this "%APPDATA%/BitCoin/"

When you get there, just remove all files that start with "blk", probably you will see 4 files.
Unfortunately, there's no other way to fix this, except copying those files from someone.

And no, you aren't going to lose your hard working BTC, cause this information is kept in wallet.dat

Well, let's just get to the point: is CPU Mining worth, in any of the currencies?

I tried LTC, but looks like that with this reaper miner GPU it's a lot better than CPU.
