To be smart you need to win most of the time and no one can do that except the gambling site, it depends on your interest in gambling if you are just doing it for fun then it is smart if you will not go beyond your goal.
It is not possible to win most of the time because we are just gamblers and we are bound to lose, only gambling sites are becoming rich everyday and we are losing so much money just to enjoy in gambling. I think that is safe as long as we enjoy though we lose. |

Wise men diversify their investments and always seek out extra inflow of wealth, so do i by their lead. I am not yet ready to give up regular full-time job because
currently it provides me with much more income than what i earn with bitcoin.
I know some people that did commit soley to bitcoin, but sadly it didn't work out for all of them, and some now have huge loans (mostly those who invested in bitcoin mining operation) and
have no good source off income to return it.
One day in the future i believe there will be enough space and wealth bitcoin related, and many will find their place in bitcoin related service or jobs, but for now, it's best
to leave it as a side job, and additional source of income (or better yet just save it on the side, because we all know that bitcoin will either thrive one day)
I dont think there ar3e allot of companies who are paying their employees in bitcoins and thats because every companys number one is gold they only want gold thats why they begin the company money is everything for big companys they will never pay you in bitcoins maybe only if they have profit with it. Right now employees will not accept bitcoin as their salaries because bitcoin price is not stable, they will lose in value once the price fluctuate, maybe in the future it will happen when massive adoption will be achieve, let us hope for that. |

It will still be popular especially if it will be stable in a higher value. People will still appreciate whether its stable or not. Because the value or amount people will ernes will only be based on their work on the strategy and their capabilities to earn.
Yes it will still be popular as a mode of payment since it is fast,flexible and cheaper way to send any amount. Also when it is stable, it will only be used to buy another currency that will be used for trading. But i dont think that it will have a stable value or a fixed vale as the market or the supply and demands dictates the price. In my opinion, if bitcoin has stable price than it is not too much popular, and also people use it only for transfer amount and little bit some more work but in this way bitcoin would be loss its own value. You know we use bitcoin because of his price increasing and down value, and if bitcoin has stable price, so definitely i will never use it. The thing is when bitcoin will be popular it will become stable, why? Because once this is going to be widely accepted and we gain massive adoption they will be an equal demand and supply so the price will be stable and the market will not be manipulated again. |

I play for fun now, I was playing for money, but i lost 5 btc on gambling, i quit that, now i just play with a little bankroll, 1 btc max loss in 1 month.
Even 1 btc max in a month is high, you better try to stay away from gambling or just play with no/little money. Gambling is quite addictive so better not to play with money, playing for fun will be great decision. Thanks for your remind, my monthly salary is almost 4 btc, so I am little addicted to gambling, I will gradually quit gambling. Maybe next year I will just spend 0.1 btc per month for fun. For sure the next season is going to be a tough season and yeah it is going to be a blockbuster as there are a lot of shuffling that is going to happen. And there are a lot of teams that are going to have good players after the shuffling. But still I am waiting for other players to be in a dream team. Because people are underestimating the spurs, if the spurs will beat the warriors in the finals Lebron will surely be having a problem in the NBA finals. Coach Pop knows lebron's weaknesses and they can win in 7 games with major adjustments after every game. |

i doubt that there is a safe way to gamble bitcoins as you will loose either way because of the house edge that games have
yes it is a fact that gambling is all round risky but playing gambling in limit is the safest way of gambling, if you have a limit for your both winning and loosing side then you can reduce your loosing percentage. i my self has limited my risk of loosing money in gambling through this way, i do gambling up to that limit and stop gambling when reach to this limit. That's easy to say because you are not in actual gambling, our plan will be tested when we are in the gambling session, I am pretty sure more than 50% who said here that we should have a limitation and control ourselves cannot do what they said, actually I am one of you guys. |

in my college learn that tren about gold is always rising and it is good for investment , so do with bitcoin but it is more fluctuating than gold , if i must choose i will pick both
the same with me, I chose both bitcoin is good for trading and investment for the long term and gold only for invesment. A PROJECT PLAN.
A plan that is shared here and on Slack for everyone to see. Even if there are delays, that is not a problem, as long as the delay is explained and a new target date committed to.
I think the community would just like to see what the overall plan is. But it needs to be more detailed, and actually updated and transparent to all in the community. That old image of the road map is not good enough anymore.
Give the community this, and there will be a LOT more support and positive community members. Everybody is concerned, because they don't have a view on target dates and mile stones.
Surely with 30k BTC in the bag, this is NOT too much to ask from the WAVES team.
NOT KNOWING is what is frustrating me, and I would assume a lot of other guys in the community.

now more people who do not understand the workings of bitcoin, they mostly just use it. bitcoin is very helpful for me. most of my life using bitcoin. My biggest mistake was I did not know bitcoin since the beginning. It was not a mistake because you were not told that bitcoin existed, the only mistake is if you know that bitcoin existed and you disregard it, it was never too late mate, we can still make fortune with bitcoin if we are just going to trust it and invest more money for the future. |

Some of the replies is off topic. The online gambling that Pres Duterte is talking about is those online gambling operator in the Philippines under PAGCOR-related online gambling.
Those online gambling site including bitcoin gambling site outside of the operation here in the Phillipines can still freely visited by people in here. Just use other bitcoin web wallet based outside on the PH and use only local exchanger when withdrawing the funds (bitcoin) to avoid some problems in local exchangers term.
Exactly, that is why my friend who is always playing e-games stopped already because that is considered as online gambling here in country. Because that is making the big casino's that are paying big taxes a competition and getting their customers instead that those people are going to play to their establishment. But still Duterte is allowing gambling in the Philippines, only physical. It was already admitted by the new PAGCOR chairman that they cannot stop online gambling especially those like sports betting because they know that it is rampant in the country and they have an idea they cannot stop since the gambling site is not operating in the Philippines. |

yes you are right, I think everyone who uses bitcoin they would spend it. because bitcoin is not only as an investment, but as the currency as well. because there are some stores that accept bitcoin as a payment. I am also into spending it than keeping it as my intention is to have an extra or another source of income. And just like you have mentioned bitcoin was made as currency and should of course be spent. I uses it for simple things that were needed for our daily lives. If ever I have an opportunity like having an extra amount of bitcoin then I would just keep it and wait for its price to goes up. We know what bitcoin can do. We can do that if we believe in the future of bitcoin, currently we are earning and we have our job and our side job to provide us the money but if all in our mind is just to spend our bitcoins we will not be able to save in the future and eventually will not benefit on the success of bitcoin. |

I know that people give out loans but what's up with people no returning what they borrowed?? I want to know this because I might give out loans myself and I want to know what to watch out for... I have ~800 BTC at the moment and would it be a bad idea to start loaning? I bought my BTC back in 2010 mid August January(when it was about $0.07 per BTC) and I noticed the price went up a ton! Also what would be some other way to grow my BTC? Any ideas on what I should do? Something I should have added my friend was doing something you guys call "mining" I am very knew to the bitcoin world even though I have had them for a long time. I bought these bitcoin from him because he needed to sell them, my financial advisor has told me that the longer I wait the more return I would get so I told him hold the account for 5 years and ill see where I am... It should be our principle, what we are holding in our possession now is a precious money that will be a big amount in the future, we should always think of the future so we cannot just easily spend our bitcoins. It is not that we are not gonna sell but we sell at the right time. |

Well me too I don't do anything with my earning with signature campaign and still yesterday is my first payment with my campaign so still I don't have enough bitcoin to spend for something I want. So, what I am going to do right now is just going to keep on saving. And at the same time I am going to hold so if ever the price is going to increase then I am going to get profit. That's how you do it actually, if you want to have more income in the future you will start saving now as that is the first step to your journey, you are lucky as you are earning money now and it is a matter of time before you can grow your money. Though that is just a small amount now but with continuous savings you will convert that to a material amount. |

Yes i perfectly spend my bitcoin in some random staff where i can bought some cool staff from internet i use also bitcoin as a currency that i can invest my money with bitcoin so that bitcoin will grow that money for me , and i also use bitcoin to pay my monthly bill because in our country we can now pay out bill using our bitcoin wallet
The fact that we can use our bitcoin to pay our electricity bills online, that is already a great improvement as we feel convenient in doing that, we do not need to go to the actual office and to line with people who are waiting for their turn, online payment gives so much convenient and without bitcoin that will not be possible. |
