1981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Feminine Altcoins on: February 11, 2017, 03:27:59 AM
Hi Guys

what coins are most feminine?
OP why do you are looking for feminine coins? What kind of benefit could you get if a coin is more feminine or less feminine?
1982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: February 11, 2017, 03:23:40 AM
When we think about investments we imagine investors with big sums of money, so for btc casino it would be 1 or more btc, for instance. However, the minimum amount you can invest is usually 0.01btc which is only 10$. Do you think such investments are profitable but you earn small sums or maybe they don't make sense at all? Can someone explain it to me?
You will not obtain lots of profits with a small investment but every single additional satoshi counts towards your goals besides you don't have to do anything except depositing your coins in the bankroll of the casino so it is passive income, so in my opinion it is worth it.
Casinos are not good long term investment, and therefore with small amount it is not good if you will are expecting it to grow substantially. Putting your money is very risky as we do not know when are they gonna stop their operation, we have proven in the past that there are casinos who goes scam so we just have to account the possibilities. Having said that, my opinion is, investing in a casino is only for investors who has a decent capital.
I disagree extra money is extra money even if it is just a small amount, also you need to consider while there is the possibility of a casino turning into a scam that risk is greatly diminished by just investing in casinos that have been established for a long time.
1983  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: February 11, 2017, 03:20:50 AM
Btc has no assurance. Invest on btc but also invest on other things
Those other investments have no assurance either and since bitcoin gives you the possibility of earning a lot more in the long run then I think it is way better to just invest in bitcoin than in any other alternative.
Yes the point in all of instrument there are not guarantee will get fixed income include investing into bitcoin
always there are risk losing money in investments,
we must manage risk losing money in investments include trading is like doing cut lost if we have made wrong
position open order buy or sell on the markets.
Yeah, the only reason to invest in something else other than bitcoin is to diversify your risk that way you are not completely at the mercy of the market movements caused by the whales, but at the same time that limits the amount of earnings you can pull off with bitcoin.
1984  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think should be the right Bitcoin price as of Februray 2017? on: February 11, 2017, 03:18:26 AM
I don't want to expect big now, I just wish that every month the bitcoin price will increase every month because somehow I'm thinking that if this happens every month then the loyal/old users of bitcoin will benefit because until now they using bitcoin so its just a reward for them. Smiley
I prefer big swings in price myself rather than to have stability that way you can sell when the price is high and buy once again when the price gets lower and get more bitcoin by just being aware of the price movements of bitcoin.
1985  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Brexit may soon become a reality? on: February 11, 2017, 03:15:16 AM
I’m not in the euro zone but tome it looks like the disintegration of it, it is just a matter of time, the brexit will led to other countries to consider whether or not they want to keep being part of the EU.

1987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone have a list of historical ICO Returns? on: February 09, 2017, 05:19:10 AM
I for the life of me can't find a simple list of day one investment returns.  (Day one meaning if you put in 1 btc - like in the case of ethereum you'd have 2000 ETH and 2000 ETC)...

I'd be almost as happy if someone also had a list of first day prices of the various ICOs - I can extrapolate from there if need be.
I have never invested in ICOs and it was precisely because of this, I tried to see if there were some statistics regarding this and I wanted to see I could identify some patterns to try to determine if an ICO is going to be successful or not but I did not find it.

Hi,
I'm really curious what in your personal opinion the price should be - where do you think we should be in means of adoption and infrastructure.

We currently have price of about $1000 per 1 BTC, do you consider it as about right, overvalued or undervalued in all and all?

Please vote and if possible please explain why you voted in this way below.

Thanks.

I think it's still undervalue since it may increase until 1200 / btc as we can bitcoin enthusiast increased around the world
Meanwhile more people decide to hold bitcoin because of this event which support bitcoin value
I think the current price is always the right price, if at some point in the future bitcoin reaches  tens of thousands of dollars thanks to adoption and new services that only means that is the right price at that time, bitcoin right now cannot reach that price because it lacks the ability to reach it but it has the potential to do it.
1990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto an A.I.? on: February 09, 2017, 05:08:42 AM
Cyborgs are definitely more far-fetched and hard to construct than androids or A.I. Androids with unhindered A.I. able to act at will is actually terrifying. The problem is not with humans losing their humanity to technology slowly by replacing different parts of the body with artificial ones, but with machines having their own mind and perceiving the human race as inferior to them.
Just watch Westworld, it's another brilliant HBO production and touches on this topic of building artificial intelligence and the issues arising from it.
We don't necessarily need to completely integrate with machines and create cyborgs, we could do what we already do create machines that enable us to perform an action with the help of technology, the only difference is as technology progress we get improved capabilities, just look at computers and the internet, now most people have access to smart phones which have access to the internet and with that you have access to almost any amount of knowledge in the world.
1991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the next 1000%'er? Are the times of getting rich with an alt over? on: February 08, 2017, 12:31:36 AM
Im trying to find the right coin to invest, but that, I can't find. I wish that the possibility of a coin giving us performance like Bitcoin existed, but we will never get that again.

With the exception of Monero's insane pump, or ETH's... what else is out there?

Those are already beaten horses. We need to find a project that has real possibilities to pump hard that's really cheap right now, and the pump must have STRONG solid volume (those flash pumps and dumps are useless), and I see nothing but bullshit out there.

Are the times of getting rich with an alt over?
No but like always, being at the right place at the right time is the key and having enough faith and money to invest and having the balls to invest when it is not clear if you are going to profit from your investment are all necessary tools as well.
1992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Do Altcoin Dev's Deserve Money ? on: February 08, 2017, 12:29:25 AM
most of what you said here doesn't make any sense to me.
i am saying if they are going to make a pump and dump coin to trade and make profit then why should they deserve any money?
Because it takes efforts to write 1000 lines of code ? I'm talking about actual projects here and not clones. Why would someone spend hours doing that if not for money ? They shouldn't deserve anything but we're not paying them out of our pockets, investors are.
But this is the issue, no one asked them to do it, they are doing it because they want, most on the free software scene do stuff just because they like the challenge and not for money, besides if they are any good then they could get recognition and then good pay doing something else.
1993  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: February 08, 2017, 12:23:24 AM

I want to generate a constant monthly gain. Is it possible to do this by bitcoin trading? So, can I just do this by dealing with BTC trading?
Are there any people among us who can make a living by trading in BTC?
It is possible to make earning with bitcoin trading as with any other trading, but it is not possible to make constant profits, some months there is not going to be a lot of movement on bitcoin and that is why some people choose to invest in other coins as well.
1994  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price ready to increase ~$25 USD per day during this year. on: February 08, 2017, 12:19:34 AM
It would be nice if we received an explanation of why bitcoin will make such great leaps in price, if there are not any, then that is just wishing the price rises at that rate, there is nothing wrong with wishing it but that does not mean it is going to happen.

Whatever the price currently is, that is the correct price, the market is just a place where buyers and sellers decide the price of a good or product if at some point the buyers decide they are willing to pay more for it and the price increases if they take the opposite decision then the price decreases.
1996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto an A.I.? on: February 08, 2017, 12:14:20 AM
Couldn't Satoshi Nakamoto be an A.I. Bitcoin's implementation was certainly complex involving 31,000 lines of code. Bitcoin was probably created by an A.I. What do you guys think?
31 thousand lines of code may sound like a lot but the truth is, in terms of length that is not much many games probably have millions of lines of code and those games were developed by humans, besides developing an AI that could write those lines of code is probably more difficult than for a human to write the lines of code.
1997  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: February 04, 2017, 09:18:09 AM
That is not right. All banks are obligated to run your account as long as you have money in it or just being active with it. What they did base on your story is they have taken away your money which is basically stealing it. Even if you violate something with your agreement in the bank they are not allowed to keep that money, even if it is illegal they must surrender the possession to the government.
Not really banks are private institutions and they have the right to refuse you if they think you bring trouble in some way or form, the banks may not like the source of your money, even if it is legal, the way you use your account or if the banks have bad experiences with you then they may decide to stop providing their services.
I think there are some banks that make users get a bad experience. so, they do not want to use a bank, and perhaps they think that bitcoin is better than it was. Well, banks are sometimes annoying, but I guess, it was the safest place to save money, with high security. Besides, you need not worry, because everything has been paid by the bank, if there is something that does not want the money you save.

Yes mostly bad experience is the cause of distrust upon banks, But distrusting is of no use. Bitcoin is not so popular in my region so had to rely on Banks.
It is safest place to save money, but not good for growing your money. The functions of the two seems quite different to me at the moment.
Yes, this is the other side of the coin, banks could mistrust you but you could also mistrust a particular bank, and no one says anything because you did not open an account with them, right? Well banks have the same right as you to have to refuse them.
1998  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: February 04, 2017, 09:15:22 AM
Bitcoin is a very easy choice for me since the price of gold does not seem to move that much these days, you can profit a lot more with bitcoin than with gold.

Well right now bitcoin is stagnant more than gold, and market volatility only bring more unnecessary randomness and high % of losses, you can trade with gold as bitcoin with high leverage, therefore you don't need high volatility

and with gold have higher leverage than bitcoin, at least this how it look on every exchange, you don't get more than 10x leverage for bitcoin
You are correct but it is not like we are going to move all our money from one market to the other just because a markets has been under performing for a few weeks, bitcoin presents more movement and with it more trade opportunities for those that are able to seize them.
We have to set goals and not just going with the flow. Not all money is advisable to put in trading, or else if the price goes down and you plan to sell then you have no choice but to cry. Both of them are good investment, better to have them both because they differ in any aspect. In any case, gold is as stable as bitcoin for now, but bitcoin has a lot more potential to earn more.
Not everyone has the money to invest on both at the same time so if you don’t have the money the best thing to do is to choose one and since this is a bitcoin forum the choice for most members here the choice is bitcoin.
1999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So many "Where to invest BTC threads" and so few real investment options. WHY? on: February 04, 2017, 09:13:27 AM
We have to be selective in choosing investments, because an awful lot of investment ponzi scheme that uses the system. I recommend to investment to where we really know and has a good reputation. in this forum as well as many investment options available.

I think there should be more than one investments because even genuine investments might not prove successful for any reason so to bypass such risk I think it's important to diversify the risk among various small investments instead of single huge investment. A deep research is must especially when there are financial matters.
Diversifying is good, but where? There are not enough investment options to begin with to try to diversify your portfolio, that is the biggest problem for those that want decent returns on their investments.
2000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: February 04, 2017, 09:09:09 AM
There are so many altcoins out there that is very difficult to be smart and pick a good coin. I personally believe in bitcoin I also bought some creditbit at good price, i like their vision, now they are moving on ethereum platform and have some really cool stuff, hope i would gain more profit on long term.

Yeah too many alts make it difficult to select. Now I have been learning. I have not much knowledge of these new coins. But why the exchanges are not playing a role for the people. They can trade only those coins which are good and have necessary codes. Also They should Ban the Coins which are scams so people investments are save.
I’m sorry to say this but that is not the responsibility of the exchanges they just  follow the demand if a lot of persons want a coin added to their exchange then they are going to do it, we are the only ones responsible for our money and not anyone else.
