19861  Economy / Lending / Re: 2.3 BTC loan request - Every little helps. on: March 10, 2013, 08:18:00 PM
I need to make a purchase but I am 2.3 BTC short. I have cash but of course it's late on a Sunday so it's impossibrruuu! for me to buy any BTC right now.

Is anyone willing to lend me anything up to this amount? until tomorrow, possibly Tuesday?

It's literally a case of me going to the bank - buying BTC - paying you back. Simples.

Thanks.

Ben.

2.3btc is over $100.  Would you give $100 to a random stranger on the street if he promised to pay you back in a couple days?

*Sigh*  So, what you're saying is that I can't sign up for an account on any website on the internet?  The ToS's count as contracts.

Absolutely.  if a website says you have to be older than a certain age to sign up, and you aren't, but you signup anyway - YES, you are scamming them.
Oh, REALLY?  I'll play along with this shit too.  He didn't have a sign-up age.

Also, just so you know, lying =/= scamming.  Idiot.

I never said any particular person/website had a sign up age.

I said when you lie to a website to gain access to which you otherwise would be denied, which I'm sure you have, you are scamming them.

Since profanity is a sign of a weak mind, there is no more sense in talking to you. Typical ignorant teenager.   Undecided

He was not the only one that lost money. Many people, including me, have done so. Therefore, whether or not his own case is void should have no impact of the verdict. I find your attempted deflection of attention away from the scam at hand concerning. Would you mind revealing whether you have a vetted interest in this case?

I'm just saying that one scammer calling another out is funny, that's all.    Wink  Have a good one.

I tried to post it everywhere he was trying to sell, just so no one else makes the mistake.  I will talk with paypal and see what can be done.

If you sent it as a gift, nothing will be done.  Never send anything as a gift.

danieldaniel, aren't you 14?  You have NO BUSINESS entering into contracts with other people, because they mean nothing in the eyes of the law.
19869  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bit Rookie | Social Network on: March 10, 2013, 04:17:18 PM
At Bit Rookie, users can do everything what is available in Facebook and Twitter.

You turn people off when you make BS comments like this.

Facebook has been in development for a decade and millions of dollars have been spent on research, developments and patents.

What you have is a very very very small subset of the features they have, and a hundred millionth of the visitors.

There is a hard limit as to how much information can be stored on a chip. It's just we havent reached it in 30 years.

So then store it in your body.

Just 4g of DNA could store all the digital information created in a year on the planet.

19871  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer: Intueri on: March 10, 2013, 04:01:49 PM
Notice: Intueri is a scammer.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=80505

I sent $100 PayPal (which he was in a hurry to receive) and he didn't send BTC.

email for PP:   rachwestey@comcast.net    (Rachel Westerlund)

(obviously, I'll also file with PP)

Then file with PP.  You'll be sure to win since they side against bitcoin.

19872  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [SALE] 100,000 Bitvisitors for just 1 BTC! on: March 10, 2013, 02:41:02 PM
This is not really "visitors" - more like "hits".

No one opening the webpage will give one care about your site, or will even read it for a fraction of a penny. They have multiple browsers with multiple tabs open and keep each page open just long enough to get their tiny reward, without even looking at it.  That is, if they are real people who signed up on your site and not just paid traffic from somewhere else.
19873  Economy / Lending / Re: [BTCjam Loan] - 450 BTC - 3.25% - 90 days on: March 10, 2013, 02:36:29 PM
If I were a scammer I would not have repaid those loans.

Simply not true.  Scammers will sometimes repay original loans to gain trust for larger loans which they will not pay back.

Okay, let's be honest, how many of us browse the forum drunk at least once a month?

Drunk?  Not so often.  But impaired, yes.  Smiley
19875  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering 0.5 BTC Loan on: March 10, 2013, 12:57:38 AM
Sure, if you can give me a picture of you holding your ID and some object (glass of water, for example.

PM me that and a Bitcoin address and you've got a deal!

You're supposed to ask for that AFTER they have sent you the fake id.  Sad
19876  Economy / Lending / Re: 420's LTC Options & Non-Ponzi Interest Bearing Accounts on: March 09, 2013, 11:42:43 PM
I guess we'll see by June

I'm not saying your Ponzi will collapse in June.

If you stand to make more money in new deposits than you'll pay out, you'd be a fool not to continue the scam.

You'll default when you feel your payouts equal more than you'll receive in new deposits.
19877  Economy / Lending / Re: 40 BTC Loan on: March 09, 2013, 11:39:38 PM
By the way, is there a service for holding collateral should you decide to request a loan? I have BTC stocks that could potentially be used as collateral if I should request a future BTC loan. Just thought I would ask.

Yet.

Not until you've gained as much trust and as many coins as you can at least.

It wouldn't make sense to start spending the money now.

19880  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering 0.5 BTC Loan on: March 09, 2013, 10:23:42 PM
I'm offering a .5 BTC loan that can be paid back as .6 in 2 days.

The idea is that you can essentially buy rep from me, and then you can scam ANYONE YOU WANT with the reputation you gain from paying back a loan!

It only costs .1 BTC!

In case anyone says that I'm serious about the "buying reputation," I'm not.  I just want a quick .1 BTC!

Straight forward and honest.  I like it!
