If the last 0.5BTC remains unpaied I will not work with you again.

If he doesn't pay the other 0.5 BTC, report him in the SCAM ACCUSATIONS forum.  Open and shut case, and it will let the other forum members know that he goes back on his word.
19942  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin Peak on: February 27, 2013, 02:48:46 PM
Interesting, blockchain.info is wrong here ... it says the peak is $35
Yeah, I don't know why it says that. Maybe it uses a different exchange, or maybe bitcoincharts.com missed some of the trades.

Anyway, I just ignored those two data points.

It is ready - http://www.bitcoinpeak.org/

Code is here (Scala/Play 2): https://github.com/ripper234/bitcoin-peak

gdsl, I'll send 0.5 BTC to your address. I really expected more when I posted my donation ... I ended up doing quiet a bit of work (not just because I choose to convert it to Scala/Play). E.g. caching of the result is important in order not to waste time on every page view, ordering the app in a proper view etc.

Hope no hard feelings regarding the missing 0.5 BTC.

If you don't send him 1 btc, you will get a scammer tag.  It is up to YOU as the person who made the contract, to be specific if/when you need to.  He did exactly as you asked -not his fault you asked for so little.

Needs a site design badly.

Maybe invest a coin and get some of the many artists here to build you a simple theme.
19945  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoinica liquidator wants to hear from users on: February 26, 2013, 11:47:28 PM
One potentially problematic issue is that although 40,000 BTC were stolen in the MtGox intrusion, only 20,000 BTC were returned.  Although more USD was returned than was stolen ($60,000 more), movements in Bitcoin price since then mean those missing Bitcoins now have a value of ~USD 600,000.

You know that ZhouTong is reading this and hoping daily that no one gets smart and comes after him for the other 20k btc.  It's worth $600k now.
19946  Economy / Lending / Re: looking for a 40 bitcoin loan on: February 26, 2013, 10:28:54 PM
its all the money that i already spent on the hotel bookings that is going to waste because i wont be able to afford a plane ticket during high season.

The money won't be wasted - your girlfriend can still stay in those hotels, right?
19947  Economy / Lending / Re: looking for a 40 bitcoin loan on: February 26, 2013, 09:57:03 PM
If you are really desperate, you'll eventually hit up a family member or close friend for a loan.

I'm glad to see this conversation was worth your time after all.   Wink
19948  Economy / Lending / Re: looking for a 40 bitcoin loan on: February 26, 2013, 09:31:33 PM
whatever dude. its people like you that have nothing better to do than troll this forum that ruin it for legit lenders.  3% monthly is nowhere near what you could get in the real world.only thing that is left here are people filled with  greed that are to stupid to fall into obvious scams with insane returns. i'm giving up this is not worth my time.

I'm not stopping anyone from lending you money dude.  It's just we all see what this is - an attempt to get us to pay for your vacation.

Take care.
19949  Economy / Lending / Re: looking for a 40 bitcoin loan on: February 26, 2013, 08:22:45 PM
noone? :x

6 months ago when i was a pretty active lender here people were fighting to fund pretty risk free  loan like this...

Let's put it this way.

A bank, who is able to affect your credit rating and put can pressure on you to pay, is not willing to take the risk of lending you money.
Your friends, who know you better than anyone else and can put pressure on you to pay, are not willing to take the risk of lending you money.

Why should people here, who can't affect your credit rating and can't put pressure on you to pay, take that risk?

Get your girlfriend's parents to lend you the money.  After all, their daughter is accompanying you on the trip.
19950  Other / Politics & Society / Re: slavery is better than 100% tax on: February 26, 2013, 05:14:25 PM
Tax does help people. I was able to not die from hunger while I was unemployed  Grin

You wouldn't have needed money to buy food if you had saved some when you were employed.  You don't need taxes for that.
19951  Economy / Services / Re: Promote my site! ... and I'll pay you. on: February 26, 2013, 03:13:38 PM
I do 10 posts a day.  I'll sell you 2 lines of my signature for the entire month for 0.3 BTC
19952  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a Loan on: February 26, 2013, 02:11:52 PM
Credit card doesn't work in Nepal, a lot of the places do not even have credit card processors. Also my cc interest rate is higher than 10% V_V

You are offering to pay 10% for 40 days - that is 235% annual interest.  Your credit card interest is what - 20% to 30%?

Take a cash advance on your credit card before you leave - SAVE MONEY - problem solved.
19953  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why isn't someone at BFL cancelling and refunding my order? Son has Cancer!!!!!! on: February 26, 2013, 12:10:39 AM
Good catch.

Looks like anyone who donated got scammed.   Undecided
19954  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone to create/modify software for this forum [3600+ BTC] on: February 25, 2013, 11:20:20 PM
Their are looking for beta communities, they will worry about everything for 2 years... This board might be a perfect candidate...

While bitcoin may be in beta, this community is not.   Too much real world business goes through here to be any kind of a testing ground for new forum software.
19955  Economy / Services / Re: Dedicated Servers, starting from $33/month. on: February 25, 2013, 11:18:29 PM
Well good luck to you!  Web hosting is a very cut throat business.   Smiley

Who provides the support?
19957  Economy / Lending / Re: looking for a 40 bitcoin loan on: February 25, 2013, 11:10:11 PM
I suggest you ask the parents of your girlfriend to loan you the money.  After all, you are taking their daughter on the trip.
19958  Economy / Services / Re: PHP Programmer needed for important project on: February 25, 2013, 10:50:08 PM
Well, I have found that people really do not understand much about passive income. Most people are so used to working for a "job", that the idea is completely foreign to them. Is it possible to work one time and make money many times? Yes.

I've been dealing with residual (aka passive) income since probably before you were born.  The concept doesn't bother me.

You won't say what you are offering so you are unlikely to get any bites here.  If you expect your idea to be worth more than 10% of a business then you are just fooling yourself.  Everyone has ideas - they are worthless until executed and marketed.

19960  Economy / Lending / Re: BTCJam Deafulter on: February 25, 2013, 04:12:42 PM
I'm looking to see if anyone has information as to who this person might be, they defaulted on BTCJam for a loan. In the defaulting loan, they claimed their name was Stefanie Heinze. I would appreciate any information that would allow me to get a hold of them, or give them a scammer tag or something. Most likely nothing will happen, but thought I would try. https://btcjam.com/users/1061

They used the name heinz, which I am not sure if it is presumptuous to assume it matches heinz  on these forums? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=23869

Let me know if you can help me with anything along these lines.

Thanks

You can post in the SCAM ACCUSATIONS forum to get a scammer tag attached.
