19961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does the bible say about Bitcoin? on: November 30, 2013, 10:52:08 PM
It says nothing about Bitcoins, but it slags off Litecoin pretty hard.

Greed is a sin

so is usury, and the entire fiat system is founded on that

That is odd isn't it?  Usury was for centuries a great evil; suddenly it was a-ok and the churches started lending money themselves.

The Church/Vatican are a business. A great one at that.

although the church did not write the bible, in fact they tried to suppress the bible because their business scheme is not compatible with the bible at all.

The church once considered it illegal for the common guy to own a bible, and the bible was not to be translated to languages the masses could read.

The church adopted many pagan traditions to get more people into their church, they edited the traditions to look more biblical-ish but they're still based on worshiping other gods or keeping old sometimes satanic traditions.  (For example Easter and halloween, Easter being a holiday in honor of Ostara, a Germanic god and halloween being a ritual of wiccans, which by the way can be traced all the way back to the priests of ancient Egypt).

the church is based on lies and satanic rituals, so it's no wonder they don't give a single shit about what's in the bible, but that doesn't make the bible any less true.

Christmas isn't even on the day Jesus was born...

< Implying Jesus was ever born.  Cool

I'm not answering anymore. And no that's not me.

Fair enough.

This is now a Ron thread. Post some Rons.

Is this Ron?

yeah that's the faggot. Ron isn't his real name. I would link his real name but you guys would dox me in a heartbeat if I did.

What caused you to sever ties with "Ron"?

Probably had something to do with him being a giant insecure douchebagel by the looks of things. Here's what he posted on that Zoklet site on 01-06-2013, 06:40 AM

So you guys may know my pseudo-gf made out with a dude in my house one night and I went to go commit suicide by a giant laceration on my left leg (I'm a cutter trying to get over it and when drunk its kind of instinct with me). I didn't do it on my wrist because if I failed, I don't wanna explain that everywhere I fucking went. Went to the hospital, blah blah 14 stitches, blah blah. She fucked the dude on my bed while I was at the hospital.

My mother and her text each others sometimes. I haven't talked to the cunt since that that night but she texted my mom recently. She wants to see me and even though I still kind of have feelings, I can't see this chick or she WILL ruin me. In the past two weeks, my life has gone to shit (Laptop throw away along with most of my clothes, my life dream will never come true, my "friends," won't talk to me, lost my hangout place, I haven't touched a boob since her ) so shall I see her? She did provide with some happiness at some point. She leaves back to college soon, then again she may have already did that but whatever.

Your thoughts on me seeing her again?

Are you the pseudo-gf? I honestly don't know whether he's trolling or not. I don't know anything anymore.

I also don't believe for a second you aren't in kahoots with each other. Also, can you explain why you dated him cos I'd love to fucking know, because this guy "Ron" sounds like an right empire state bastard, and I doubt it was for his dashing good looks. He likes some good bands though I'll give him that.

So since we're sharing I was wondering about this yesterday.

After your were given both "donations" it was immediately transferred to 1CyAN73jSegtbLLC57de4HP2j7NmHLCyQm

Now that we know there is a ron and he likes pizza, I have to ask did you transfer or did "Ron" use it for his "pizza"?

Pizza probably equals heroin.
19964  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: UK international bank account for Bitstamp deposit on: November 30, 2013, 10:29:12 PM
Okay thanks, I will call HSBC and find out. I only ask as I have seen a lot of people saying that many of the main banks straight out refuse to allow people to buy bitcoins frequently. Do you suggest that this is possible due to the relatively small amount I will be transferring?

It's possible but I'm not an expert in the banking system so I couldn't give you an answer. Are you buying bitcoins? You could try buy them for cash instead. Either try buy some on here or check out localbitcoins. You can get good deals on there far; cheaper than the exchanges sometimes.

Bitcoin may have been rising to meet the price of gold, the precious metal has also fallen to meet it. The price of gold has taken a dive this year. At the start of the year, it sat at around $1,700 before plummeting to a yearly low in July.

It rallied to just over $1,400 in September, but since then it has fallen to a four-month low.

I like how it's worth more than gold now. Gives people an idea of its worth in conversation.

19970  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Megacoins on: November 30, 2013, 07:27:12 PM
I've been looking at Megacoins and they look very promising, it has a very nice website, wallet, etc... It just looks well thought out and set up. It has recently shot up to about $2, I'm thinking of buying some. I was going to buy Litecoins back in July when they were at $2 but I didn't and missed that train sadly. So anyone think Megacoin is going to head in the same direction as Litecoin did? Should I invest in them or stay away? Any opinions are appreciated.

- Mike

Any advice given on this would be purely speculative and only you can decide whether to invest in some. You'll probably only get two answers from peeps here and they will be impartial and influenced by whether they are backing the coin themselves or not. If you want my advice I can give you it, but only you can decide. You seem to think it's a potential good investment, so maybe you should go with that before it's too late, because if they do shoot up then you'll be kicking yourself for not buying some. Hope that helps.
19971  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: UK international bank account for Bitstamp deposit on: November 30, 2013, 07:18:08 PM
It's possible, but if you're setting up a new account, it might be best to tell the bank how frequent you'll be making transactions and ask if this might be a problem. If they suspect suspicious activity or possible money laundering they can freeze funds.

Cos he's a dude just pimping out a girl for some free coin. Speaker, you might wanna use a new BTC addresses with each scam  Roll Eyes.

Can you post a picture of the tattoo on your leg? I am a big tattoo fan.

I'm a bigger fan of chicks with dicks  Grin.
19975  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stunna fails to uphold sig ad amount on: November 30, 2013, 05:52:56 PM
Can we perhaps have an objective point of view rather than people eager to please stunna.

I can try give you one. Maybe it's wise that users enquire about what exactly constitutes a "constructive post" before they take the deal, or perhaps Stunna could provide a bit more info on what he classes as constructive as to avoid problems like this, but I think it's pretty self-explanatory.  I had a look over your posts and they are on the short side and at the very most consist entirely of one short sentence. The only time you have posted more than one sentence is in this thread. I can understand your frustration as I would be annoyed if I didn't get what I felt I'd put in, but I also wouldn't expect to get paid out in full if I was just making 4-5 word sentences and not saying anything of value etc. If we're going by the definition of Constructive being: "having or intended to have a useful or beneficial purpose" then I personally don't think you've made enough posts to qualify for full payment, as others have said. Instead of calling him out as a scammer here, you could've learned from your experience and participated again in this months lot and upped your game and collected your full earnings.

An easy way to make constructive posts is to help out beginners and answer their questions in the newb forum. There's always a constant supply of problems and issues people need a hand with so it's easy to do. Helping out people, as well of warning of potential scams/scammers, will only boost your rep on here which can't be a bad thing.

Help us understand; who took your picture?  Hmm, perhaps it is a camera with a timer?

Probably the guy who's posting as Speaker Wink

Can I ask why people are deciding to choose this offer rather than go with Stunna?

I did it just to test out if OP is a scammer. Somebody has to do it right?

Yup. Everybodies gotta start somewhere, but saying that, even if you are going for the full whack of 801-1200+ posts, is it really worth the risk? I'd at least let others test it out first whilst I stuck with what seems to be the safer bet with Stunna. Be funny if you all get paid and Stunna reneges hahaha. Grin (Stunna, if you are reading this, I am only joking  Cheesy).

And it's not so bad with you as you were one of the first to step-up and claim/try this, but I was directing my confusion at the people who are still signing up for this when he hasn't even posted anything since the 26th. I really hope you all get what you are entitled to though.
19978  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Got an email from 'MtGox Team' - I'm not even signed up with MtGox on: November 30, 2013, 04:46:06 PM
hilariousandco, are you known to have a large amount of BTC, perhaps? Maybe somemone is following you, trying to phish for your money.

Define large amount haha. No, I wouldn't say I have an especially large amount of cryptos, but I guess any amount of BTC is of worth to scammers, especially when it grows every day.

big brother is watching you.
seriously though, what about other social media?
my email is on here and i never got such phishing email.

I don't use it. I don't even really use twitter, but I only logged on to retweet to get some free coins. I Have a Facebook but haven't logged in ages and not since I got involved with cryptos. I use a different email address for personal stuff and forums, so I don't know how they tied my personal account to my involvement with cryptos. It's perplexingly worrying.

19979  Economy / Auctions / Re: Signature Space on: November 30, 2013, 04:29:36 PM
Ello, ello, ello what's all this talk of renting out your sig. As a total newbie to this bitcoin malarkey. And the proud owner of a few LTC. I'm finding it all very fascinating....

Check out Stunna's thread over  in the services thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=291387.0

Basically, you put an advertisement in your signature and you get paid for the amount of posts you. Your posts need to be of a constructive nature and cannot be spam. Check out the details in his thread. There are also other users renting signature space in the services section, but be careful you don't waste your time on scams and read all their terms.
