Since domains with crypto and bitcoin are harder to grab, I'd try some alternative ideas, like:

1. You can think of a beautiful long(!) name for your project, then find a shorter domain with the acronym/initials of that.
Help out struggling beginners in crypto related problems => hosbicrp.com => free for grabbing.
Of course, I am sure you can find better name than this ^^  Grin

2. Search for domains in certain countries. Like cryptohelp.it, cryptohelp.me or such.

Great... i like those domains i checked suggested domains from other users and i like them aswell..

What do you think about domain crinner.com "crypto Beginner" or crynner.com "crypto beginner" , crbeginner.com ?
Those are shorter but i think you loose the meaning for most people who don't frequent your site often, it should be somewhat memorable and symbolizing your website content for the wider audience.

This post was posted in the year 2019, I think that OP is no longer giving the smerits he had or if he does then good luck and hopefully you may be able to receive it. I will going to apply also if OP will going to response in you in the hope that in a little way with our effort to get merits will be possible by this merit give away threads. Though I am not asking to receive get merits but of course to rank up to the next level which I will be needing 137 merits of which it could be a long and difficult to reach the next rank while others could easily do it because they too are a good posters and mostly like me is an average poster that needing more time and effort to make quality post.

Anyway, good find though of this thread which is not being locked up by OP. Meaning that there is still chance that the OP could still reward merits to the members that will post their quality posts for review.
gives people hope at least

This is actually brilliant, firstly doing all the research and compiling data and than using it to earn merit to ultimately create a guide for beginners and earn merit on it for the informative aspect of it! Well played man

Since i am quite a geeky type  Grin, i would love to know about bitcoin mining but the requirments i found are beyond my scope. I just dont wanna earn with it, i want to get involved in the whole process.

If you are interested in “bitcoin mining” then those words should be keywords on search engine, and I am sure you will get hundreds of relevant results. At the very top of the search is this link How Does Bitcoin Mining Work?, and there you can read everything that interests you, practically answers all your questions.

But if you want a direct answer, BTC mining is reserved for big players these days, because the equipment is quite expensive and you need very cheap electricity. In other words, if you don't have thousands of $ that you can risk for one such venture, it's better to opt for something else - maybe for crypto trading?

We also have Mining board on the forum - I'm sure you can find a lot of good information there too Wink
You can go on the Mining board but consider that it is expensive to start mining BTC, much more than altcoins, but if you are geeky i guess you can research that yourself and find the best solution

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot ICO on: November 22, 2020, 05:12:13 PM
I didn't invest in Polkadot during ICO but lately, I am seeing a lot of exchanges starting to support the claim of Polkadot's coin DOT some exchanges are even offering incentives if claim DOT on their exchange.

https://www.kucoin.com/news/en-kucoin-supports-claim-polkadot?lang=en_US

Kraken is going to list Polkadot tokens  on August 18. Following the result of voting the native DOT token will be redenominated by 100x factor on August 21. Being 3 days ahead of the official redomination event Kraken will add to trading (and staking) DOT token  denominated as New DOT.

"The redenomination simply changes how DOT is defined in terms of its smallest unit of account, the Planck. Before 21 August, the DOT will be denominated as 1e12 Plancks. After this date the DOT will be denominated as 1e10 Plancks, moving the decimal 2 places."
I see now DOT is one of the most popular staking options on Kraken.

Jel probao ko Staking Polkadot (DOT) coina, ima od 10-20% APR kako gdje, ja sam stavio na Kraken sa 12% a i cijena za sad solidno prati BTC.

I don't know who falls for this but be warned that this is 100% FAKE.

It's 100% real. Can't be fake - it's on the internet.

So what's going on here? Website got banned by SEC Investor Ed? ICO since 2018, and is it still active until now? In fact I just realized this thread is pinned, LOL

It's 100% SEC-approved. The presale ends in a couple of weeks - hurry up and buy some.

That is true, it is on the internet, didn't consider that, thanks! I'll hurry and dump all my BTC into this.

40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot can take place of Ethereum? on: November 21, 2020, 03:23:07 PM
Honestly for now, I'm personally just using DOT to invest because of their staking rewards, but they can make this platform much better, but even then, ETH is just there next to BTC, a prince of Crypto if BTC is the King.
