suggestions for mining pools?

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Comparison_of_mining_pools
I've had good luck with BTC Guild.  They have their fair share of criticisms here, but YMMV.  I also hear Slush's pool is a good one as well.

I slept from about  7 till noon actually.  :-D at office depot now. All 47 remaining domestic shipments are being leveled as we speak. The internationals i have to go elsewhere. I'll keep you posted.

Also,  the galaxy s4 is a brilliant phone.
:-D

Music to my ears.  Thanks and I look forward to receiving them.
25  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm sorry for this dumb question but how do I buy bitcoins now? on: May 15, 2013, 09:30:26 PM
How about any of the many other exchanges out there? There's more than just MtGox you know.

I can highly recommend Bitstamp, just do an international wire transfer to their bank account, and buy some coins. They're pretty fast (way faster than MtGox anyway) with handling bank transfers.

My bank charges $30 for international wire transfer -- any recommendations on banks with less fee?

That's about right for international wire.  If you have a large balance at the bank or have been a customer for a very long time, some branch managers will waive the fee if you ask.  I've gotten domestic wire and bank cashier's check fees waived by holding a moderate balance in my account.

It's probably not a good idea to mine with any mission critical servers.  It would be better to build your own stealth rig and host it at the same facility, with management's permission of course.

Right now the payments of 376 units have been fulfilled.

Maybe Friedcat is considering a price cut  Cheesy

Selling 376 with a minimum order quantity of 300, why would there be a price cut?  If anything the next batch may have a slight increase.  The free market and Supply and Demand in effect here.

Here is my crate rig inspired by this thread:

Only 2 GPUs and one riser right now.  Another 7950 and 2 risers are in the mail and will be here later this week.

PVC pipe is only temporary until I get the risers and the third card, at which point all will be mounted to the crate.

Amazon hardly ever ships price mistake items.  If anyone actually gets one and not a cancellation e-mail, it was a deal of the century.

According to this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=163306.0 an 850W Gold or Platinum is sufficient.

39  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: LITECOINS on: April 29, 2013, 01:20:46 AM
If power is free then there's no real reason not to unless you have to pay for the wear and tear on the other system components.  You can plug your hashrate into one of the many Litecoin calculators and see what your earning potential is.  It may be worth it just for curiosity.
40  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS: Lancelot FPGA on: April 28, 2013, 11:43:40 PM
The power supply says it can power up to 4 devices, but I only see one 12V connector on it.  Is there something that's not pictured that will allow you to use one power supply to power 4 devices?  Thanks.

We will supply a splitter with the power supply. We're looking into it right now.

Perfect, thank you!  I placed my order for some devices and wanted to ensure I can get them all up and running once I receive the package.
