Finally got access to my coins in the wallet, had the wallet to rescan all transactions via console. Took a while, but now the balance is correct. Just in case youre missing coins in your wallet also.

The real monero is still XMR. The hard fork was not a meant to be a chain split, but a protocol update that already happened several times ago. This time, ASIC miners did not make the move and stayed on the old chain.

I also use 8 and 25, but I get better results for my GTX 1060 3GB with Samsung (~450)

Looks like the Windows wallet is out: https://github.com/vergecurrency/VERGE/releases/

The date on that wallet says 6 days ago. That can't be accurate. Just yesterday, people said that the wallet was still being worked on. That might not be the correct wallet.

The Github entry is 6 days old, not the wallet. The windows build was added today, to the older entry which only contained sources first.

Small tweak, hashrates kept the same. SUMO made a bigger change, here the hashrates of many cards dropped, my GTX 1060 3GB by about 10%

Hi guys, which Lyra2 pool are you all using now that Suprnova closed its Lyra2 XVG pool? Where did all the miners and their hashrate go to, all other Lyra2 pools have very low hash rate?!?

After the hard fork, ASICS should be out of the race. But fighting centralisation would also mean kicking botnets out. Do you have any plans for changing the algorithm in a way that botnet mining will become obsolete?

As long as there is no 4.0.2 windows binary, for me 4.0.1 is the most up to date version, so why is it not working?!?

Sorry guys, I do not get it.

I have the 4.0.1 QT Wallet, it is fully synced (check mark on the lower right) and I imported my private key of the paper wallet via importprivkey.
After restart of the wallet, the public address is listed under the receiving addresses, but the balance stays 0, but in the wallet are over 700 XVG:

What is going on here?!?

Hi,

somehow you pool stats for VIVO look really strange.

TTF is mentioned with 36 secs, but this can't be with a pool hash of 35.4 Mh/s when the net hash is about 1.44 GH/s as the block time is 2,5 mins. Is this a bug, will you fix it?

Of course the hashrate is different, we changed the PoW ALGO  Wink

Yes, but Monero also changed the algo and the hashrate did not change. So without knowing how exactly Cryptonight Heavy was changed, I cannot tell whether 10% less is what can be expected or whether it should be better, that's why I asked Smiley

Hi guys,

just tested with current XMR-Stak after hardfork. With my GTX 1060 3GB cards, I get about 10% lower hashrate together with about 6% higher power consumption.
Anyone who can confirm this or am I doing sth wrong and the hash rate should be the same as before?!?

Hi all,

I somehow struggle to get access to my ~700 coins that I have in a paper wallet.

First I tried Electrum-XVG, but either is shows "Not connected" all the time or - when I enter a server manually - it shows my balance, but the transactions look weird:

I think this is not how it should look like. Then I tried the v4 Windows Wallet which takes days to load the blockchain. When it's finished, the balance is - of course - 0 as there is a new wallet created  by default.
So I tried to import my wallet via console, but this also does not work properly. My wallet address is added to the list of receiving addresses, but the balance remains 0.

I'm lost guys, can somehow please help and explain how I get my coins accessible in a wallet?

Best regards

Stefan

Stefan - This is a known issue and the solution has been documented in you tube here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYlT87AJC_w

Thanks for the link, that fixes the connection issue, but I still see these unverified transactions even after setting up everything from scratch. Don't know what this is, why are they not verified?!?

Hi guys,

since altminer has gone offline, I've been looking for a reasonable alternative mining pool for VIVO, but I could not find any pools that has a significant amount of workers. ZPool is not really an option as I do not really mine VIVO there but sth random and only get paid in VIVO. The "Largest" one after ZPool seems to be antminepool.com which a pool hash of about 120 MH/s which is quite low compared to over 4 GH/s net speed. Where do all these other people mine?

Best regards

Anyone?
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which pool for mining VIVO? on: April 04, 2018, 09:39:35 AM
Can't find VIVO at Yiimp, HashRefinery has really low hash rate and the concept of ZPool is not the one I'd like to use. I want to explicitely mine VIVO and not sth. else even when I get paid in VIVO in the end. Just looking for a normal VIVO pool where I can mine VIVO and get regular payouts, like it was the case with altminer.
