21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy - question is which coins? on: September 05, 2017, 02:55:52 AM
MCO - It's unaffected by the ICO news and poised to make strong gains in the coming days/weeks.  It might bleed a little before then so I wouldn't rush to buy but look for a good dip, maybe 190kish and then stock up.

Also SYS and ARK look strong

Ouch. It wouldn't hurt as much if they didn't have one of hottest products on the market. Just persist!  How did you pay? Wire?

Yes wire.  Yeah I'm trying to stay patient and persistent.  Luckily someone is providing some of their miners to me soon so I'll at least have something to work with until Bitmain gets their **** together.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [MCO] Time to buy on: September 03, 2017, 12:17:40 PM
Wow, super strong start of the day for MCO, up 40% in the last two hours.  You might still catch a dip if you want on the rocket.  Lambos waiting for ya.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [MCO] Such a scam... on: September 03, 2017, 11:38:03 AM
Guys, mark my word. Scam or not, you'll make 100% return within a month if you buy MCO now. I guess we're all here to make money, but not to write an academic paper on crypto payment card!

The pump has begun!  Kiss Kiss  Grin

Yes the rocket has lifted.  I think the visa deal went through, and somehow that leaked to a whale and they're stocking up.  Massive buying trend confirmed, first pump had no dump, second pump already taller and hasn't let off yet.

BTW I've changed my opinion about MCO being a scam.  It's not a scam but there's a lot of misinformation out there and this bit I was replying to in this thread was provided by a drunk non-employee supporter of MCO so go figure, it was wrong.

I'll probably be deleting this thread in the near future, but I wanted to give the MCO people a chance to come respond first if they want.

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Last chance to get on the MCO train on: September 03, 2017, 09:48:05 AM
Up 20% (from 200k) in the last 15 minutes

It might correct down to 230k or so from the current of 240k before next pump.

Time to stock up!

**update**  account status updated to "paid/unshipped/valid   so 10 days in total until reflects as paid Smiley

Lucky.  I paid July 5th and my order is still marked 'unpaid'.  'Juliana' has contacted me several times, keeps asking me for my payment info even though one time, she told me my payment info when she confirmed they did in fact receive my payment (yet still did not mark my order as paid).  It's so frustrating, I'll never do business with Bitmain again.

Good luck with your miners.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell your MCO before midnight Aug 30th on: September 02, 2017, 09:46:12 AM
wow you got an accurate prediction on MCO. I also sold the MCO on the 30th when the price dropped. This made me get some big profit and could invest in other altcoins. I hope you can share your experience in analyzing the MCO market

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2142941.msg21434933#msg21434933

I'm switching over to buy now on MCO.  220 looks like the floor and it's picking up steam.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / [MCO] Time to buy on: September 02, 2017, 09:32:47 AM
Hi all,

Some of you, especially MCO holders, may have read my other MCO threads calling it a scam and predicting the collapse of it's price on Aug 31st.

I wanted to put a new thread out there before I delete or substantially edit those old ones.

I've had a chance to hang out on the MCO's slack lately, and I've had a lot of my questions and concerns answered directly by the Monaco team.

Now I read my earlier threads and they seem like FUD.  Perhaps eerily prophetic FUD in one case but still... unfounded paranoia.  It's very possible that bots and whales were manipulating the value of MCO in the run up, but it's pretty unlikely that MCO had anything to do with it.  The only possible motivation for them to do so would be selling off their tokens, which they didn't do, and have stated very clearly they won't do (at least not any time soon).

As for the scam accusation in regards to potential residual income from MCO profit sharing, some of that came from confusion on my part about how it's structured.  A big component of it is that as people 'cash out', their token gets 'burned'.  So less left in circulation, and the remaining ones cash out for higher values.  That changes the math significantly.

I've invited the MCO team over to respond directly to my earlier posts to see if they can clarify better exactly what did / didn't / will / won't happen, hopefully we'll hear from them soon.

Now actually looks like a good entry point for picking up some MCO, or averaging down your buy-in if you're already underwater.  As news in the next month comes out clarifying some of the uncertainty that has hung overhead so far, it looks poised for strong gains.

If you have specific questions or concerns about MCO please leave them below and I will do my best to get them answered.

Monaco has visa, im almost sure of it.

even though i've lost a bucket, im still optimistic.

i might even load this months pay..

Their cashback is 750% higher than Tenx Pay's.  That's ridiculous.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell your MCO before midnight Aug 30th on: September 02, 2017, 09:01:01 AM
I wish I had read this before.

Lost serious money with this shit.

Anyway, I am happy...I am going to recover it from EDG  Grin

Monaco will recover quite a bit soon, I'm pretty sure about that.  Now would be a good time to pick some up.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell your MCO before midnight Aug 30th on: September 02, 2017, 09:00:08 AM
how can you do such exactly prediction, what if you are wrong?your reputation will be seriously damaged.
while i see the charts, the price of mco is definetely climbing up.it seems really fantastic.

Wait, you'll think less of me?!?  Oh no!  Shocked

Pfft.

Grey you buying back into MCO?

Yeah I already did, and if I had more to throw at it I'd say now is a good buying opportunity.

I'm going to post a new MCO thread here shortly and try to unravel some of my earlier threads because I've had a chance to chat with the team over there at Monaco some and they've explained a few things I was unclear on, so now my concerns seem unwarranted and negative to their project.

Most important thing I want to clear up is that Kris has stated in no uncertain terms that Monaco staff will not be selling any MCO.  The timeframe was not specified and I can't imagine he meant 'ever' but still, it's comforting to know they're not about to flood the market.  So really, this whole thread, while accurate about the drop, totally inaccurate about the reason for the drop.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Which of these should I keep and which should I sell? on: September 01, 2017, 02:36:50 PM
Hi all.

Well I've had it with the bots, hype and whales screwing with the exchanges, so I'm taking my earnings and original buyin back to coinbase.

I've gotten a bunch of free coins during my two weeks of trading, which ones do you think I should keep and let appreciate long term and which ones should I just sell now?

SYS
ARK
MCO
SPHR
LSK
XLM
CURE
QWARK
GEO
MTL
FLO
ADT
MUSIC
XVG
SC
CFI
DASH
BAT
VIA
EBST

I guess I'm inclined to keep:
ARK, MCO, SPHR, LSK, QWARK, BAT, VIA, DASH, CFI

and sell:
EBST, SC, XVG, ADT, FLO, MTL, GEO, CURE, XLM

Sound about right?

This time is the best time ti buy more, I am wrong in my speculation and i didn't sell my monaco now i'm in lose. Somehow i will buy again in this current dump so i can have still a good profit since the dump is too low as of now

My condolences.  Hopefully it'll recover soon for you.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell your MCO before midnight Aug 30th on: September 01, 2017, 01:53:10 PM
Agree with you pal. Sad to say that maybe a year or more? we dont know until we heard a bright news about it. I my self also i do hold my coins right now and im planning to sell it if it goes 0.004 maybe? or more if i cant hold it anymore. Though this coins has a lot of potential we just need patience to it lets wait about those visa cards that will released soon

Little bit of good news: Kris said in a tweet that Monaco would not sell a single token of it's 'personal reserve'.  It's not as good as a legally binding contract but it was clearly stated in no uncertain terms so I guess that'll have to do for now.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell your MCO before midnight Aug 30th on: September 01, 2017, 01:45:06 PM
well why you change your mind so rapidly, after the dump of MCO today, you dont suggest others to buy this coin?

It'll recover a lot from it's current position.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for the hidden gem. Let's share ideas on: September 01, 2017, 09:04:39 AM
First thing you should do is stop thinking of these coins as stocks.  They're not stocks, they're not backed by any intrinsic value at all, it's entirely based on how much someone is willing to pay for them.

So I can say 'Syscoin is highly undervalued and an excellent long term pick', and that's an accurate statement, but if the volume of the coin is low, then the trading action is low and you'll be waiting a long time for it to make a move, and they'll be fairly smallish moves.  But a dead coin that appears to be abandoned by it's developers like Rise is all over the place today in the markets, entirely because of whales / traders and bots.  They push the price down, pump it up, draw people into purchasing and then sell in bulk to drive the price down so they can get those people to sell at a loss.  What the coin actually does?  Doesn't matter.  Timing and patience are key.  They don't just pump up one coin over and over again, they keep moving from one dead shitcoin to the next, usually on a 2 week to 1 month rotation.  They pump it up for a day, then they leave some bots on it to drive the price down for two weeks, until impatient buyers eventually sell at a loss.

In a lot of ways, you can just pick one at random with any sort of recent activity on it, buy it, hold it, set an automatic sell on it for 150-200% and if you wait long enough, it'll probably catch.  When they get pumped, they go way, way up.

Things to watch for on a coin:  Go to the exchange and review the order list.  Is there someone with a ridiculous giant lot of the coins for sale for 1 sat more than the best offer?  Or anything roughly like that?  That coin is being pushed down.  That doesn't mean you shouldn't buy it, just that you'll have to hold onto it, and take losses, for a long time before it pops.  If you wait longer to buy it, you can get it cheaper... but you won't see the pump coming because it usually happens very fast.  When someone is actively pushing a coin value down you can be pretty sure they'll be pumping it up later.

A pump looks different on the chart than organic growth, so practice identifying the two.  Pumps go straight up, fast and down again just as fast.  Normal growth takes a while and looks more like gently rolling hills most of the time.  Don't buy coins that have just recently pumped.  The price increase will gradually diminish.   Don't buy coins that are just a downward slope for the last six months.  That's a dead coin.  Don't buy pump coins expecting a long term investment out of them, and don't buy long term coins expecting a pump out of them.  It could happen but it's less likely than just aiming for the right type of coin.

Never buy unless the price is under the Exponential Moving Average by a lot.  When it gets over that average, think about selling because soon it will return to that average price and you can either make money or lose money during it's journey.  Sell high, wait for it to drop, buy it back.

If you catch a pump, don't get too greedy with it.  The moment it lets off and the price starts to stabilize, sell off at least half of the coin, and know that the price may crater any second.  But there's a good chance it won't go down as low as it started, and it will pump again afterwords to new heights.  So that's when you sell the second half, or part of it and repeat until you've liquidated.  Don't just sit on the coin and wait for it to make you rich, once it stops moving, take action.

All that said, I would recommend SYS or ARK right now and since you already have ARK, SYS it is.  SPHR is another lesser traded one I've had good luck with, and BAT too.  These are all long term holds.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell your MCO before midnight Aug 30th on: September 01, 2017, 08:10:38 AM
Well i just read it right now ive loss a lot of profit from mco right now and i dont know what to do. Am i going to sell my mco or not? Wait for the right time right price no matter how long? Or sell now because it going to dump more? Im newbie in trading and im holding this coin but now for the meantime im holding my mco no matter what happen i hope it would be back at 0.006 btc

I think it will be a long time before it's back around 0.006.  It may never get there again actually... but if you can wait, up to a year.... Maybe.

You could try this, if you're feeling brave.  Buy more MCO at the lower price, in the deepest dips you can.  Then sell them at the highest peaks you can.  Do this enough times and you'll have offset your losses by new gains until maybe you can recover some.  There's no reason you have to do this with MCO, could be any coin.   Also, if you have the money to spare, you could also just buy as much or twice as much at the lower price, and then hold it, and all the MCO averaged together will be a lot lower of a break even point to sell at.

I'm really sorry to hear about your losses and I hope you recover them soon.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell your MCO before midnight Aug 30th on: September 01, 2017, 07:28:17 AM
i am new to MCO so i just bought 1000 MCO as the price is cheap... Hope it the price increase soon

Good luck!  Should pick up after a while.  There's been some bad news lately but that's already factored into the price.  When good news hits it'll be a nice pump.

You should probably look into MCO a little to read up on this 'bad news'.  MCO is a kinda shady.  But whatever, if their coin goes up, who cares.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell your MCO before midnight Aug 30th on: September 01, 2017, 07:04:48 AM
is there any chance that the rates will hike at least 18 to 19$

I'd say that depends on two things:

1) Does MCO actually produce what they have said they will.  So far.... enh.  The app wasn't what they promised, and the card does not have a Visa logo on it yet.  Nor does it work in USA (or India), and I think Europe is still a ways out.  But they seem to have a pretty long term plan going so maybe it'll be ok.

2) How patient are you?  If you can wait six months, I think you might see considerably more than $20 per.  But you'll be waiting a while.  No rockets, no moon.  Steady growth occasionally torn most of the way down by profit taking traders, followed by more steady growth.
