With every crypto project which has ambitious goals the problem remains the same – how can you seed your idea into the hearts of millions of people to succeed.

Very well said! Wink There is tons of crypto projects out there and it is very hard to catch the attention of masses. But without people there is of course no success Undecided

22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DNotes 2.0 - Staking, CRISP Interest, DNotes Pay on: October 29, 2019, 02:54:06 PM
I have now remembered that there had not been any update on DNotes coin itself for some time now.

Is development of the coin halted for the time being, at least until the sufficient funding is secured? Or are there also some activities which are currently in progress also with the DNotes coin itself? I must say that one of the great features/upgrades which I am really looking forward to is cold staking Cool

Correct, we're focused on HERo membership in terms of development and marketing currently, as that is where our efforts are most effective for the future of DNotes and DNotes Global. Agreed, on cold staking, we are looking forward to that upgrade as well.

The best, thanks again for fast response. So as I assumed, future od DNotes really depends much on the success of HERo. Even more reasons to cheer for it success and help by sharing its' posts on social media and sharing the word  Smiley Will try to do my best to help Wink

24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥⭐[ANN] CROWDHOLDING CO-CREATION PLATFORM🔥 on: October 24, 2019, 11:35:09 AM
How many users do you have on the platform? What is your monthly average growth?

Do not bother, I see that they are not answering the questions here. It seems that their community engagement is really bad and they obviously do not have community manager, or the one they had is terribly bad at doing his/her job Roll Eyes That is probably also the reason why more people did not hear about them up to date and part of the reason why their token is only traded at Idex exchange. And even there it is actually not traded...it has trading volume equal to spectacular zero Roll Eyes

Which is really the shame, because Crowdholding looks like promising platform and would be a great tool in more capable hands Roll Eyes

Thanks for response Smiley I believe that what you vere describing about increasing number of subscribers is also know as "snowball effect", I hope that it will come to that  Smiley

I believe that promotion of HERo could play a key role here, also at various events for woman in business.

I just came across the post below, which was posted by Alan in March. The initial plan for HERo was to sign up 10.000 members and 100 service providers, and after that 1,000,000 members and 1,000 service providers in 5 years.

Since there are currently 63 members, 9 experts, one service provider, and one group (do the math with the numbers above)...and there doesn't seem that countless herds of woman would be rushing to sign up...I was wondering if the initial plan was too optimistic? Shocked If so, what would be "plan B"? Is there any solid strategic plan to get to those numbers or at least close to them? Considering that further development of DNotes coin will greatly depend on success of HERo, I am the same as Iron_Eagle1 a little worried Undecided I know that HERo is stil in beta, but signing up for membership is fully operational and functional for some time now.

Make no mistake, I still support you (many times even being the only person liking and sharing some of the HERo, DceBrief and DNotes Twitter and LinkedIn posts) and hope for better times, but it seems that DNotes is getting lost in its own endless complications and devices, while competition is overtaking us from both sides Undecided

Alan, I was wondering if you could elaborate a little more on the connection between Hero and DNotes as a currency. As I've read through the Hero website, the purpose is to support female participation in digital currency and female ran businesses. (generally speaking) The Hero model appears to be a central hub for promoting this. How does this connect with the use of DNotes as a currency? Are partners paid/paying/integrating DNotes into their business? Are there specific things that directly link DNotes currency to Hero?

Quote from Alan Yong:

HERo, formerly CryptoMoms, is an integral part of DNotes strategic vision since April 2014 - to build an inclusive trusted digital currency that is purposeful with world-changing implications. We have held steadfast to the belief that mass adoption of digital currency is not achievable without the full participation of women, as they control more than one half of the global assets and buying power.

HERo is turning out to be our dream come true. Its mission has been expanded to include all the women of the world with focus in technology, finance, fintech, and entrepreneurship – covering all ages, almost 4 billion of the global population. We are the only one doing this at this scale. Other crypto women, and female blockchain groups (mostly quite small) are delighted to support us or partner with us. Yes, we are the global hub for women worldwide. That is a massive market for DNotes.

Doing the right thing at the right time is crucial.  I am old schooled and strongly believe that it is best to earn it than shaft something down one’s throat.

Any one impressed by HERo will learn about its connection with DNotes and DNotes Global. We have that covered with a very large Internet foot-print and published materials. We will be promoting DNotes to our supporters and target market. This will include a campaign to introduce them to DNotesVault and CRISP Reward.

We are working hard to include a membership platform based on a one time stet-up fees $30. This platform will showcase product and service providers, who will be paying a monthly listing fees of $50. Our initial target is to sign up 10,000 members and 100 service providers. Our five-year goal is to sign up 1,000,000 members and 1,000 service providers.

We will be accepting DNotes as payment and expect our supporters to do the same. DNotesPay will be promoted as the ideal payment solution for micropayment.

Read the DNotes Story. Despite a depressed market, we continue to execute and advance. HERo is our first business unit to scale globally. From our vantage point, things are looking great.

I am totally swamped. If you have any other questions, I am counting on Tim to answer them.

Hey Amadeus, no worries you are always welcome to ask questions. We appreciate your support!

Our goals are always optimistic and there are always alternatives to accomplish our mission, but alternatives are not even a consideration at this point when we have barely even scratched the surface of promoting it. The only alternatives we are considering are different approaches to get people to join. HERo, if reaches the level of success we are hoping for, it will be slower at the start and as more people join it will accelerate. That's an important concept for adoption of anything, it starts with a small amount and accelerates slowly, and as more adoption occurs adoption accelerates. I don't know or recall the entire story behind facebook, but you can imagine it was a handful of college kids for a long time, then it was a handful of colleges for a while, and so on.

It is great to see Hero now in live beta. Currently we are building content for the members site, and releasing a few articles for our various web properties, and we will be pushing very hard to bring in paying members after a couple of weeks of operating in live beta to ensure no issues with the functionality of the site (which is looking great).

The resources will be very helpful for women (and anyone) who wants to learn more about business, upskill in areas needed to succeed in business, and people who want to mentor one another, or purchase services from those whose skills they require.

I am looking forward to see the development of the page and paying members coming onboard.

Btw., do you intend to advertise site and membership also outside HERo and DCEBrief pages? I am afraid that without advertising it will be hard to reach out to potential members and get high number of active memberships Undecided

I know that Alan was saying that there is a great interest in the page and membership, but as we had seen in first round of financing, there can be quite a big difference between interest and actual engagement Undecided However, of course I wish you all the best and hope that site will attract great many members Wink

There are a couple of directions we are going to use for marketing HERo membership. From direct marketing as Alan has mentioned, paid advertising, to affiliate marketing and partnering with similar groups/events/conferences to cross promote. From there, we need to evolve by branching out to events and sub chapters to grow rapidly.

If you haven't gone in recently I recommend checking it out. It is starting to populate nicely.

We are working on a video presentation for the membership landing page, so that people will be able to understand the capabilities of HERo membership.

Starting in early October, we will be fully live and in full promotional mode.

very nice, sounds like a solid plan  Wink Cool

I must say that I am really looking forward to it, especially as income from HERo would probably be a way to move DNotes forward. It was pretty much idle for some time now and it will be nice to see some development and implementation of new features again Smiley

HERo Membership Live

HERo membership is now in live beta. We welcome everyone to sign up and start using the platform. Let us know any issues or suggestions you may have to make it a better platform by clicking the Need Help link at the bottom of the membership page or emailing contact@nextgenhero.io.

I have signed up and for now everything is working perfectly Smiley

Did you get a lot of feedback and do you expect that you will have to change a lot of things? When do you expect to go out of Beta and fully launch membership platform?
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IPO of MaidSafe:  Entering the Future of the Decentralized Internet on: September 18, 2019, 06:53:36 AM
It is somehow sad to see how far this once one of the most perspective coins has fallen. There is almost no activity anymore here and also trade volume is somehow low Roll Eyes

Is there at least any milestone near completion?

I see that I must pull my coins from Bittrex. Which wallet do you recommend and where can I download it? Link "Wallet Downloads" on Homepage does not seem to work, at least not for me Huh

Congratulations for official launch of HERo membership platform! Smiley

Wish you all the best and I hope that many members will sign up and enable the further growth of DNotes Wink

Thanks Amadeus! We aren't quite launched yet. Still in Beta. But it won't be long before we work a few of the small issues still left.

My bad, I was so excited that I missed the part that it is Beta and will officially launch sometime in September Smiley

But doesn't matter, it means it will be launched soon Cool And since Alan was speaking a month or two ago, that he is getting so many emails that he almost doesn't get to open all of them and that the page is generating a huge interest, I am sure that it will be a big success which will result in a much needed funds income, to boost the development and marketing of DNotescoin. I believe that soon there will be really great times ahead of us! Cool

TeeGee, combination which you mentioned seems really interesting. I was not aware those features Smiley It will be interesting to see how everything will turn out, though I am positive that it will be great.

Anyway, if you will need any help with testing features of the page before going fully online let me know. Either PM me here, or on Telegram.

Iran’s Govt Issues New Rules on Cryptocurrency

https://dcebrief.com/irans-govt-issues-new-rules-on-cryptocurrency/

We are amidst the next great Crypto Boom. And DNotes is now at 20 satoshis and falling.

From Paul Graham's Twitter a few days ago...
"The reason most founders are surprised by the difficulty of fundraising is that they're learning something about themselves, not something about fundraising. They know fundraising is hard for startups that don't seem appealing to investors. They just didn't realize they had one."

I've always appreciated the DNotes project. But as it currently stands, there seems to be zero sense of urgency. This project has lost 98% of it's value. And there is little revenue to support funding.

How is the team going to position itself to benefit from this next boom cycle? HERo is a nice idea, but I have been on the Board of a rapidly growing non-profit called MakerGirl, for years. I can tell you that even the most well-marketed, well-meaning projects in the female empowerment space....are still incredibly hard to grow in terms of revenue. Let alone projects which are couched themselves in niches like blockchain.

What else do we got, besides HERo? Any technology or blockchain innovations coming down the line (moving to PoS was always a great North Star for the community to point to)? What other markets and use cases is DNotes approaching?

Alan is wrapping up some business and once we launch the new membership platform, our focus will be entirely on HERo as the first stage of the effort to increase revenue and prove the model for investors. Yes, fundraising is hard and the key investor push-back of revenue was anticipated, though we were hopeful to find the right investors that could see the potential.

The new membership platform is several months in the making and we have been working very hard to not only develop but also working towards building up a team and potential partnerships. It is much more broad in target and groups such as the one you are on the board of will be able to benefit from the platform. The success of the groups based on our research have been dependent upon their ability to branch out and organize locally. That is one of the ways in which HERo will be helpful to these groups, providing them with a platform that makes it easy to collaborate, find people and organize, start local chapters, etc...

We are currently wrapping up development and moving into the testing phase.

Can you also tell more about expected launch date or is it still to early? About one month ago Alan told that he expect official launch in about 60 days...that should mean approximately in one month from now (beginning of September). Is still realistic to expect it then, or did you run in any obstacles which could eventually postopne the launch date?

Yes, as long as we don't encounter any major issues, and we don't anticipate any, then we should be launching end of August or beginning of September.

I must admit that I am little excited about official HERo launch Grin Is everything going according to the plan? Do you have any official launch date yet?

Is there anything else going on behind the scenes that we can look forward to, or all efforts are for now focused on HERo and preparation for official launch? There had not been a lot of updates lately and I am sure that all who are following your project would be interested in a little status update, if nothing else at least just out of curiosity Smiley

Just checking in too. Taking a bit of time to catch up on cryptos. Wish I'd done that earlier. A coin I love got delisted from Bittrex while I wasn't paying attention which is disappointing. DNotes price isn't too exciting but I know the team is doing the right thing. I soooo can't wait for our own exchange (sick of having to rely on what's available now)! But I know that's a bit further down on the list... I am swamped with my own stuff so still can't do much, but working through things one by one. My wallet minting and CRISP is doing great Smiley

Industries aren't reformed in a day, so keep up the good work. It will pay off!

Appreciate it Wiser, thanks for checking in and stopping by to say hi. I agree, we are absolutely doing the right thing for the longevity and progress of DNotes.

It is nice to see that team is still working hard, I am really looking forward to the official launch of HERo. With funds from HERo, I believe that DNotes will get some fresh air into the lungs and great things would start happening again with the development of the coin and the ecosystem around it Cool

Good time to accumulate.

I disagree. Not yet.

I expect the price to fall further down, since there is no reason for it to raise now. It will eventually rise, but not without/before any substantial progress will be made. So I guess it will depend a lot on how successful will HERo be at launch. If it will be successful enough to bring in some funds and interest of investors, then development will of course follow and then with some investment in marketing also the price Wink
