Ups and downs are just daily events for bitcoin at this stage LOL
22  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ANALYSIS OF BTC / USD DATE 26 MARCH 2013 TO 02/04/2018 on: March 28, 2018, 04:00:59 AM
ANALYSIS OF BTC / USD DATE 26 MARCH 2013 TO 02/04/2018

I. WEEKLY ANALYSIS (W1)
1. Open last week at $ 8200 BTC quickly rose to $ 9177 and reached a low of $ 8085 then closed at $ 8445 (data recorded on Bitfinex).
2. Thus, with the volume of trading is not large together with the price increase and decrease is not strong when the candlestick creates the candle hammer back but not at the top or bottom so we almost do not conclude with the candle week Last week saw the candle closed the green candle. Continue to candle more candles before, we go to pair 2 candles last two weeks, the formation of candlestick holding balance when the side buy and sell side does not dominate.
3. Regarding candlestick logic, the cycles that are going are supporting one of the two following logic: Candles this week and next week will be red candles or candles this week as red candles. So, if we consider candle logic this week is a week of decline.
4. Prices are between 61.8% Fibonacci level at 9440 $ and 78.6% at 6600 $. Therefore, if the BTC is the biggest loser, it will only be preferred at $ 6600.
The Bollinger Bands are sloping down slightly and the middle bands are heading up, bands are heading up, prices are under the middle bands so the preferred trend is still below W1 bands at $ 5255. However, the Bollinger Bands slid midway up to prove that the buying power is still pretty much.
6. We go to look at ichimoku, Tenkan-sen is under Kijun-sen but Kijun-sen is up and Tenkan-sen is looking for Flat, the price is on Kumo and Chikou span lying on the price line so the long term trend is bullish and in the next 5 weeks Kijun-sen will continue to upward trend so the discount is not given priority. The expectation of BTC will increase this year is very positive.
The 3 ADX lines are consolidating, showing the trend is sideways.
8. Stoch is declining and not yet overbought.
The MACD is supporting the downtrend as the two lines of the MACD are falling down and the histogram of the yen is gradually rising. However, two lines cut but are lying on the area 0. Therefore, when the two lines cut back, the force is very large.
10. MFI money flow is not big enough to pull BTC up when MFI is trading around 31.8.

• CONCLUSION: The general trend is sideways and preparation for BTC's gaining momentum in the year. Thus, the most recent general goal is $ 28,000 and higher at $ 42,000 between August and September 2018 (August 20, 1818 or September 17, 1818).

II. DAILY ANALYSIS (D1)
1. Opening yesterday's trading at $ 8521 and slightly increasing to $ 8674 and then closing at $ 8364 and closing at $ 8445 (on the Bitfinex).
2. Thus, with the volume of transactions is not large and less price reduction is not strong can return at any time.
3. The current candle-lit candle can be a green candle with two red candles, so today we still expect BTC to create green candles for logic. Then cut 2 red candles on 27 and 28 March to complete 3 times the logic.
4. Considering the Bollinger Bands we see that the price after touching the bottom and the ring reached the middle of the Bollinger Bands. The BTC fell back quickly as the price retained the momentum below the Bollinger Bands. But Bollinger Bands are heading up without opening and the bands are down. Thus, the priority of forming W in this area before the price increase is reasonable when Bollinger bands are smoothing in the next few days.
5. We go to Ichimoku, the price is between Tenkan-sen and Kijun-sen and not reach the Kijun-sen so the price is still prefered to suck Kijun-sen at $ 9470. Cloud futures are getting thin and there are signs that investors are hesitant to move and change when they want to buy more than they sell at the moment. In general terms of ichimoku we see that Tenkan-sen is under Kijun-sen and the price is under Kumo plus Chikou span below the price line which will put downward pressure on BTC. However, if we go to calculate the future of Tenkan-sen then found that in the next day do not close the candle D1 below 8200 $, Tenkan-sen will start up gradually and if the BTC increased to $ 9177 Tenkan-sen will turn up very strongly, while the price still hit the Kijun-sen road at $ 9470 so this expectation is perfectly reasonable. In the next week, Kijun-sen is still flat, so important is the movement of Tenkan-sen. Thus, although the general trend of ichimoku still indicates that the BTC will fall but some of the waves are echoed when the Kumo cloud is thin and argues some points to the Tenkan-sen increase again and the price attracted. Kijun-sen at $ 9470.
The ADX is still in favor of the downtrend, but the ADX is slowly moving up the third mountain. Therefore, if we consider the ADX wave, then in the short term, BTC will complete the down cycle.
7. Stoch has cut up signaling the uptrend.
The MACD is shifting to the uptrend signal, the histogram is above 0 and moving sideways. Two MACD lines are close together. Therefore, if the BTC continues to fall sharply at $ 8200, the MACD is likely to bounce back. Then the market will bleed blood and $ 5k or $ 6k is not a problem.

For a moment I thought you were analyzing over such a long period of time...

my order of 1xS9 from Bitmain has arrived in SG custom, since the 8th of March.

But the UPS tracking show that it is being held at SG custom, thats 8th, 9th, 10th, and today, total 4 days already.

Has anyone here has experience this when you recvd your miner?

Can advise whats the next course of action I can take, to expedite this process?

FYI, I've already called UPS and they said cannot advise why, and how. I'm like WTF...  Huh

Apparently machines like those have to go through a more stringent clearance process, shouldn't take more than a week to clear though
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: March 08, 2018, 12:13:44 AM
The future of bitcoin is bleak. The future of cryptos is not bitcoin.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Blockchain? on: March 04, 2018, 11:33:46 AM
One can argue that Satoshi focussed on one or the other, however, if you think about it, the two are pretty much synonymous. The first successful blockchain was bitcoin, bitcoin was the first successful crypto using a blockchain
27  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Singapore on: March 02, 2018, 04:18:18 AM
please, how to can i buy btc in singapore ?

I dunno about others, but for me its painful...

1. Register coinbase
2. Register Xfers
3. Waited (forever) for Xfer's verification
4. Top up cash into Xfers account after verified
5. Buy btc in coinbase, as Xfers wallet is linked to coinbase.

In between, I paid a premium like 40% extra with localbitcoins. Needed to purchase miners so no choice but go to localbitcoins.

My sad story.

40% premium? Did you get chopped like a carrot?
28  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Singapore on: February 18, 2018, 08:16:30 AM

Will create the group, hit me up if you want to be part of it

Lots of active sg users left BCT actually lol, too much spam and shit
29  Other / Meta / Re: Lauda removed from DT network via 3 exclusions on: February 15, 2018, 12:49:14 AM
As someone who has lurked for years and refused to comment on any of the frequent banter between Dt users and the trust system.

It seems that we have reached a tipping point on BCT where scammers are so blatant and so numerous that the trust system no longer works as it should.

Lauda might have a few questionable ratings, but most of the negs Lauda gives are honestly deserved. Among the others which frequently seems to find problems with Lauda using nothing but speculation and word play, I have to say that Lauda has been pretty much cool headed.

I for one will always side with OwlCatz as OwlCatz very very rarely comments on such topics, which kinda speaks volume on the current situation as is
30  Economy / Economics / Re: Which Asian countries have the greatest influence on bitcoin? on: February 03, 2018, 02:07:35 PM
As long as mining is centralised to China, China's moves will have the largest impact, other than that probably higher bitcoin usage per capital places like India, Korea and Japan. If you mean in terms of technology behind it, Singapore based firms seem to be in the lead
31  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Singapore on: February 03, 2018, 02:04:18 PM
Hey guys, is there any Singapore based telegram group that I can join?  Smiley

I'm looking for people who are looking to sell their bitcoin as well, please pm me.

Why not use Coinhako, Coinbase or even localbitcoins? You are bound to get scammers if you openly ask people to pm you to sell you their bitcoins. And people will choose not to sell to you through verbal agreements as most fiat channels can be charged back
32  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: January 28, 2018, 12:08:05 PM
Do you happen to be on good terms with Lauda, actmyname, The Pharmacist, etc.? Kissing up to them? Then such things easily happen. And you don't even need to post quality content for it.
You sound like an idiot.

Crestington's merit is now 1,000 because theymos made a change to the system. Because Crestington's activity is within Legendary range, his merit has now been increased to 1,000 to not prevent him from achieving it.

Oh sweet, that's awesome.

I did mention about that being in range but suddenly being prevented based on merit.

Thumbs up from me.

Pretty sure I am in the legendary range too, oh well probably because I have not been very active recently and just sporadically respond to old threads I follow. Haha

EDIT: Oh damn just saw the >=775 range, welp, time to be more active and reap the merits
33  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: January 25, 2018, 11:49:36 PM
I think this merit system is quite unsustainable and I'm 100% sure I'll NEVER get any Merit point with this post. This will prove my theory is totally legit.

Good point, negged.

Jokes aside, this is literally the kind of posts that the new system kinds of promotes, from posts spamming we get posts containing "subtle" bd+sM content
34  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: January 25, 2018, 11:26:15 PM
So sad right now, that means that someone who has been pretty active in the past but have not gotten legendary will take forever to reach legendary now. Damn, if only I was more active before haha. Then again, legendary had no correlation with credibility, so I'm fine with that too haha.

Ultimately it's a good way to filter out the spam I guess 😂 .

Seriously? Explain to me exactly how this new sM thingy stops nefarious actors from coming here and registering, then posting to their heart's content not caring less if they move up in rank or not. Yes, it may slow them down a tad per account, but thanks to now needing more accounts to advance their cause, whatever their cause may be, more accounts they will create. WAIT! Hey, maybe that the plan - to see how quickly this forum can reach the 2M users milestone. Hmmmmmmmmmm!

Don't new accounts start at merit 0? Every new account gives u 0 merit, no point in spamming new accounts ain't it?
Nothing stops nefarious actors, even on pain of death, a malicious actor will stop at no means to get his wish performed.

Good guys will always play catch up to the bad ones in infosec.

Honestly after some tinkering in my filter script, I haven't seen as much spam as before, after all, if I can't see them, others can't too right? 😉

90% of the presale coins sold!

So u decide to not answer my query and spam about you guys buying your own pre-sale tokens? Rofl
Phoscoin is  not a scrypt coin, what are you talking about?

In the whitepaper it says:

Coin Specification
Coin Algorithm Scrypt : PoW (Egalitarian proof of work)

It's confusing some people that's all, the whitepaper needs some corrections.

Oh yeah there was an error with the first whitepaper but it has been corrected long time ago. Try to clean your cache and retry

I have never ever viewed the white paper before that one time, plus the fact that I enforce no cache on my custom webkit based browser, I am pretty damn certain that your little error was still there when I wrote the query.

Tldr: If such a critical yet small error exists in your first draft and u somehow release it, it simply means you are going to abandon development one day, simple as that.

Also, it is not the norm to put terms and conditions inside successful ico white papers, out of the 8 ico white papers I have read with the terms and conditions clause taking more content than the actual white paper, all 8 have been abandoned. You didn't even bother explaining the quick tx times and how it's possible using tech speak.

Also, the guy that mentioned some people are confused, yea I am confused as to how good can a supposedly innovative coin be when it's whitepaper is pretty much shit. And whitepapers is a huge deal to people experienced in the scene.

Anymore reasons you wanna provide?

Hi.. i am not from singapore but i am working here in singapore for quite so long. If i got BTC should i withdraw it in my country or better here in singapore? Just a newbie here. Thanks

What's the difference? If your local exchange has lower fees use it, unless wiring said amount to Singapore costs more. Simple math.. Not like you withdraw here and u magically get a few times more than you can get back home ain't it?
