21  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When is the best time to trade a Bitcoin on: March 23, 2024, 12:06:07 PM
For me, I think there are two styles of Bitcoin trading. The first is day trading. The best time for day trading, I believe, is during an uptrend because the price fluctuates clearly every hour, every day. This allows traders to capture short-term profits quickly. The other style is buying low and selling high. The best time to buy is during a downtrend because that is when the price is at its lowest.
22  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop paying money to learn trading when you can learn it yourself on: March 22, 2024, 02:26:44 PM
I don't disagree with teaching basic skills and providing basic information. People can learn it to understand the market, and they can ask and receive quick responses, not just by watching on YouTube or something. But I don't understand people who join 'how to be rich' classes. I mean, if they know how to be rich, they would teach their friends and family first, not us, and keep it for themselves. Why would they need to teach you how to get rich? The only reason is they want to get rich by selling courses to you.
23  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: advice for a beginner on: March 22, 2024, 02:23:21 PM
And stay away from futures if you don't understand them. Most people just like to play futures even though they don't understand all about it. And they lose their money quickly, even if they make some profit from the bull market the first time. It's like gambling; you lose money and want to take it back so badly that you keep playing and playing without noticing you are deep into the market trap.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new projects are now available for users for testing on: March 22, 2024, 02:19:18 PM
And many new projects are now trying to take away money from all of you. Just today, the game SSS had a rug pull. The developer said they got hacked. LOL. Why didn't they lock the developer tokens first? It's the basic thing in the crypto market, but they didn't do it. And many projects will do the same thing. We get hacked, we get backdoor, we get errors... so be carefully
25  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New to crypto. WHERE DO U GUYS TRADE?? on: March 21, 2024, 11:56:53 PM
For me, it's Binance and MEXC. Binance is a large market for trading crypto. The volume is significant, so you don't need to worry about the price dropping when selling many tokens. MEXC is a smaller market, but it doesn't require any information or KYC. It also adds many new low-priced tokens to the market every day. I like cheap tokens because they are easier to multiply than top tokens.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn money (cryptocurrency) in 2024? on: March 21, 2024, 11:53:28 PM
I have been thinking about making money in cryptocurrency, but I'm hesitant to try because I don't want to get scammed i.e. didn't get any rewards for the effort I spent. I'm really curious with the current hype in 2024 and how much you've make from it? I know that scam is inevitable in altcoins, so I might be looking to earn with less risk.

What I know the current hypes in 2024 are:
1. Testnet airdrop
$600 bucks from doing hydro tesnet and it's only one example. $200 from mining Babylon project NFT, which is free, caused by all of the tasks related to the testnet.

2. Meme coins
I participated in the meme token farm and got around 120 bucks by doing some simple tasks.

What about NFT or ordinals? but I think it's really risky because it's non fungible and you can't make sure people will buy your token.

It's not as risky as when you randomly bought ico. In ordinal, what you need is only bitcoin as your minting fee.

Participated in the raffle is free
Getting whitelisted is free

Have you ever known about trac? I minted around 10k token for less than $50 as minted fees and it sold it for 50k https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/trac/

I also got Runestone, which is worth 0,05 BTC now.

The key is consistency.

What about P2E games? I haven't hear it anymore.
Not really profitable.

The hype has not yet ended and you are not late to participating in the incentivised testnet, retroactive and many more.
Do you have any groups to share airdrop information, or do you just find them on Bitcointalk? I've joined some groups, but most of the airdrops they share are not profitable. Sometimes, it takes many swap fees to participate in a testnet, but nothing comes back.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling NFTs...Where to start? on: March 20, 2024, 02:22:49 PM
To be honest, does anyone here actually sell their NFTs, their art, to real customers? Are there people willing to put out their money to buy digital images on NFTs? I don't have anything against NFTs because I buy NFTs for games all the time, but for art, I don't think so.
28  Economy / Gambling / Re: GETSATS.CLUB, a new NO-KYC, lightning network, onion casino | LIMITED FREE BET on: March 20, 2024, 02:20:24 PM
When I press the 'deposit' button, it keeps showing 'error creating invoice'. Is it because I am using a VPN or something like that? And maybe you should create a fun version for free play to teach people how to play first.
29  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't do this mistakes in trading on: March 20, 2024, 02:16:29 PM
For me, I think the most important thing is to pick some good altcoins first and then just hold onto them. Hold onto them for as long as possible. Take some profit that's enough for your living expenses, but keep holding onto them. I don't believe much in day trading. It's just for fun, for part-time. You can't make daily profit from it, especially as a normal person without information or analytics skills. So, the easy way is just holding.
30  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think about the freedom of speech in the USA? on: March 19, 2024, 11:49:48 PM
YouTube is just a company trying to make money. They don't have a responsibility to protect freedom of speech (even though they claim they do). And they have many problems with customers and governments who are against Putin. So they just make moves to protect their profits. I can understand that.
While YouTube aims to profit, it's essential to consider the balance between profits and responsibility. As a big company, they should (and can) take action. Their actions impact speech freedoms, especially in contentious political contexts.
You think that's easy because it's not your money. Believe me, when the time comes and you must choose between profit and the freedom of speech of everyone else, it is very hard to give away profit and support the community. Especially, it's even harder when it's a big company, not just a single individual.

32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are advantageous to invest in now on: March 19, 2024, 12:56:49 PM
As you know, everyone in here will give you good information to find a good coin, like doing research, checking their team, their vision, risk management, and so on. Tongue For me, that is a good way, not bad, but for a lazy person like me, I prefer to see the project show up most in signatures on the forum, then research it. Cheesy  Roll Eyes
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can governments crack down on crypto? on: March 18, 2024, 04:17:48 PM
Yes, governments can easily disrupt the crypto market. They can simply impose taxes on your accounts, ban some major markets, or declare cryptocurrencies illegal assets. Moreover, they have many ways to track you even if you try to use crypto behind their backs. So, we hope governments play fair and don't interfere with us right now.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Memes really pump hard than others on: March 18, 2024, 04:13:59 PM
People love buying meme coins because they want to get rich quickly. You can get rich quickly now if you buy Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin is now $70,000, so even if it reaches $140,000, it just doubles their assets. But what if their assets are only around $100-$1,000? That's not much. So they buy meme coins hoping to get rich quickly. Like I remember a man who bought $100 worth of Shiba Inu at the start and then made around $5 million. Besides, some whales want to hype trending memes to spread crypto to everyone
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana memecoin is trending on twitter.. on: March 18, 2024, 04:05:00 PM
Is the token IQ50 also on the Solana chain? I saw the IQ50 Airdrop on Bakery Market, but my Metamask wallet had some errors at that time, so I didn't join. In the end, everyone who joined this airdrop got around $500. Lol. I'm so regretful now. Is there any meme coin on Solana that has an airdrop too? Does anyone know?
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the biggest airdrop you've ever received? on: March 17, 2024, 12:42:39 PM
I don't remember what the biggest airdrop for me was. But the campaign where I received a big reward was for a project called NEO or something similar. I joined, did some tasks for about a week, and earned $3,500 (yes, I sold at the peak of that coin's price). I never expected that much because usually, I only get about $15-50 per week when doing campaigns. As for airdrops, I've only received around $10-20, so I don't remember what my biggest airdrop was.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your altcoin holding with low value on: March 17, 2024, 12:34:59 PM
I have joined many campaigns, and all of them have some similar patterns. Like the price will drop when you can sell. Many people just sell immediately after receiving the reward. Some project prices will keep falling down. But there are still projects that come back strong. I usually hold all rewards for a long time. I join a campaign because I really like it among other campaigns.

If the token has been listed before distribution of reward then you should sell it without worrying for the future because everyone is in Struggle to sell their bitcoin at higher price so if more people sell their coin the price will automatically reduces and if you are waiting for pump then you will see that at the end your coin will possess no value.

If your coin is not listed yet then waiting give a sense because after listing on exchange the value of that token will increases so you can double your profit in such situations. Sometimes holding is necessary and sometimes holding does not give you anything so always think about the situations and try to make a decision according to it because holding will not give you profit all the time.
Thank you for your advice. Yeah, sometimes I hold onto too many tokens, and from 2017 until now, only 3-4 tokens have survived out of 50. I still made a profit from that strategy, but I regret not selling many tokens just because I wanted to hold onto them longer, even when they were listed and people kept selling. I still hoped for a miracle when the developers said everything was alright or something like that, but in the end, they abandoned the project. Lol.
38  Economy / Gambling / Re: My betting strategies on: March 17, 2024, 12:30:19 PM
As I posted on this thread about my strategy of betting against my favorite team, another strategy I used is betting against my intuition. LOL. In the last World Cup, I only bet against who I thought would win, and luckily, I won so many games. I didn't expect that, but I think I will try again sometime in the future.  Kiss

I have similar periods too, everything I bet ends up opposite to my prediction... And at those moments I think that I would do much better if I bet on the total opposite of my intuition, but unlike you, I have never tried/tested this method. It's not like didn't think about it, but I'm not sure if that could work for me, sometimes when something doesn't work it just doesn't work.

If there's one thing I have learned after all these years of betting, it's that there is no one strategy that always works. Each strategy is good in its own way and each of them has periods when it works and periods when it doesn't. So the best thing we can do is to try to mix different strategies and to somehow try to be unpredictable as much as possible.
I agree with you. Every strategy may only fit certain situations or individuals. So it is better to know many strategies so that we can find the best one for us. Does anyone here know about the movie '21'? It's about using math to beat the blackjack game. Lol, I wish I knew some tricks to play in a casino like that. Back to betting, next week is important for me with Arsenal vs Man City. Smiley)) I will bet for Man City (yes, I'm an Arsenal fan).  Kiss
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Shiba inu get to $1 on: March 16, 2024, 11:03:55 AM
 Grin
No. With Shiba Inu, the circulating supply is near 600 trillion, as I just checked on CoinMarketCap. There is no way it can increase to $1 in the next 10 years with that supply. If the price were $1, it might exceed the value of all companies in the world right now. The possible scenario for the price to reach $1 is if they reduce the supply significantly, like burning a vast amount, perhaps 99.9% of the current supply
