Anybody know what the network hashrate topped out at today? I saw 77K at one point.

Are there instruction to compile the new version on Windows or pre-compiled binaries available?

Any bounties?  I can look at doing a Mac wallet.
Buy some zeros and create your own bounty ... there are wallets being built as we speak kindly to be donated to zero and the community.

I sell shovels and wheelbarrows. I don't sift for gold.
What does that even mean?

So the story goes:  during the gold rushes of the 19th century, you could either mine for gold... or sell shovels to the gold miners.

It means he's not looking to invest in Zero and the risk/rewards that come with it. He's looking for a job with payment for services rendered.

good project especially because ith has 0 transaction fee but sadly it does not have dev team

Looks like there will be a dev team announcement soon.

Is there a automated way to manage re-start if optimizer.exe dies?

Right now, it displays a dialog box and only when I click 'ok', it proceeds and gives the command back to cmd. Hence I can't even loop it within the batch file...

It seems to die every 10 mins or so and without any manual intervention, I don't see any obvious way to effectively keep the GPUs busy 100% of the times.

Thanks!

Here is the solution i use for this issue. I also recommend you use the mod instruction on page 4 of this tread for the miner software to minimize crashes.

Copy the first section below into a text file and save it as run.vbs in your optiminer folder. Then copy the second section into a bat file you can use to execute the script. This will setup up a wrapper that will automatically restart optiminer every time it crashes.

The windows notification for a crashed program will also need to be disabled, otherwise a popup box will prevent the program from restarting.

These instructions work for windows 10.

Tested on both suprnova and zeropool.cloud,
the miner stops after some minutes on 5 gtx 1070 under win 10.
Have no issue with other currencies to mine.
Any help?

I believe the miner software is still unstable on anything more than 3 cards per rig on windows.

no i have both amd and nvidia 6 card rigs mining under windows fine using the mod mentioned here by copying the linux bins from the latest optiminer into the windows optiminer.

the original windows optiminer works fine for 1080ti and rx cards but not 1070 / ti , also setting a much larger than needed virtual memory / swap partition can help stability a lot.

we have a pre modded version available in our mining4 discord #mining support channel https://discord.gg/FUqCWEw

come mine with us at http://zero.mining4.co.uk 0.25% fee until 1/1/2018 then 1% there on.

My mistake, I hadn't read that the mod fixed the 3 card limit as well, or maybe I just forgot about it.

xixou, mod instructions are on page 4 of this tread.

In my zero.conf file I have the following two nodes listed:

addnode=35.164.216.74
addnode=94.176.235.178
rpcport=23800

Are the nodes still valid?

When I run ./zcashd

I get the following message:

Thank you for running a ZERO node!
You're helping to strengthen the network and contributing to a social good Smiley

Block height | 0
Connections | 0
Network solution rate | 0 Sol/s

You are currently not mining.
To enable mining, add 'gen=1' to your zero.conf and restart.

Since starting this node 5 minutes, 46 seconds ago:
- You have validated no transactions.

I have no idea why I'm not connecting to the nodes. I'm almost certain I setup everything correctly.

Can someone please let me know if the node addresses are still valid.

Thank you

Try using these nodes.

Someone is able to mine this coin? Because miner crash even with 8gb cards.
Dev you are able to mine it? There are others miner program?

Since you are having crashing problems I'm going to assume you are mining with NVIDIA on windows. That is the combination that gives new miners of ZERO the most problems. Use the mod instructions posted on page 4 of this tread to stabilize the mining software. It's not 100%, but it's significantly better than without it. I also use a vbs script to auto restart the miner when it crashes. If I'm not doing anything else with my rig the software is stable, however it does become increasingly unstable if I'm using my rig for multiple tasks.

So sorry, but I don't believe on Suprnova any more.
I compared your pool and other pools big enough, Suprnova always get lower return (Zero, ETN). Maybe other people same with me, so they leave Suprnova.

I'll leave https://zero.suprnova.cc running, closing is not necessary anymore and fee is now 0 % Smiley

I mined Zero on suprnova for months and didn't see any issues with lower return. I get the same payout per day on zero.forgetop. However with a 0% fee compared to 2% suprnova is looking more attactive.

hello folks,

I would like to inform you
Minerentry will come back

Unfortunately, I am still in the hospital for a long time
and have no time and the possibility to administer the pool.
A pool means a fulltime job, I hope you understand that

I also had the block explorer problems and lack of communication
induced to stop the operation
I did not want to risk your miner losing your coins
Today I promise you to restart the pool as soon as I get out of the hospital

I will buy my own high end server for it
the layout will create my partner fidothadog

Look forward to the future

By the way, I have zero.wf months ago
bought for zero

Of course, this is still available for zero
and who does not know

minerentry.com == lokko
minerentry.com == fidothadog

best regards

 Wink

Lokko, a few weeks back you mentioned that the dev for EWBF miner had contacted you about moding his miner to work with Zero. Is that still in the works?

GUIDE:
HOW TO MOD OPTIMINER 1.2 FOR WINDOWS TO MAKE IT WORK WITH NVIDIA GPUS

1. Download both Optiminer 1.2 for Windows and Optiminer Equihash 2.0 for Linux.
2. Extract both files in two separate folders.
3. Go to the Optiminer 2.0 folder and navigate to the "bin" subfolder. Find the following 8 files named Nvidia_Equihash192_7-base.bin and Nvidia_Equihash192_7-round1.bin, [...] , Nvidia_Equihash192_7-round7.bin.
4. Copy these 8 files and place them in a new folder. Then rename them as follows: Nvidia_base.bin, Nvidia_round1.bin, [...] , Nvidia_round7.bin.
5. Copy the renamed files and go to the Optiminer 1.2 folder and navigate to the "bin" subfolder. Paste there the files you just copied (overwrite the original files found there).
6. Optiminer 1.2 should work fine now. For better compatibility, use --pci-mode 0 in your config (or *.bat) file. Also, if you have a rig with both Nvidia and AMD gpus, I would suggest running one instance of Optiminer for each platform, by using the -c switch.

That's all folks.
I 've tried all sorts of things and spent a lot of time to make the damn thing work, so if it works for you and you 'd like to show your appreciation, send some coins to my ZERO address:

t1Xit7hfbfTW2EPvkVs9xP6AN5bD3Ri9BTE

I just did this a few hours ago and my rigs appears to be much more stable. Pulling 11+ sols/s out of all my 1070s with no need to restart every 15 min to 2hrs. Thank you.

BTC

zero.forgetop.com is waiting for you Dear miners!

And remember - the best profit not always come necessarily with big pools. Most of the time having a big share cut is a lot more profitable than that.
The only way to find out is to give it a try!
Start your engine miners!

GOOD LUCK

Lutsifer,

I've been mining on your pool for about 24 hrs. and I have a little feed back.

1. I've noticed that the individual miner stats page seems to have a little trouble reporting my workers. It keeps cycling between my workers and the other miners with multiple rigs running. Specifically I keep seeing workers minko & ginko, then rig1 & rig2 (mine are also rig1 & rig 2, but the sol/s don't match) and then my rigs.

2. I would like to see a way to change the payout rate in order to minimize transaction fee cost. I'd prefer getting my coins say once a day rather than on every block.

Thanks for the pool. So far I'm making more coins than I was on supernova.

How can I mine this coin with 1080ti ?

In 1080ti Only 5 S SadSadSad

In rx580 it’s ok, 10 S Smiley

rx580 10 S....    HOW?Huh

Wow, that's low for a 1080ti.

I'm getting about 12.5 on 2 of my 1070s and about 9 on a third.

I've been running 2x GTX 1070 quietly for several months with the following vbs script.
