21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What If Nothing Change In 2019? on: December 14, 2018, 11:47:33 PM
A lot of people will move away from the crypto sphere if nothing changes on 2019. What we just witness is a statement that crypto can collapse anytime and it can still get worst. We should be proactive and have a backup plan when it happens. Not all of us has the ability to hodl for that long so its much better to settle for short term trade.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency unpredictability on: December 06, 2018, 10:42:28 PM
Yes. Risk is inevitable. Don't join crypto if you are not willing to take it. I always tell my friends that they need to make a firm decision everytime they trade. Doing things without a backup plan will shatter your capital. Just like what happened to thousands of people, their portfolio dropped and they were forced to sell just to minimize the damage and move away from crypto.  Sad
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long it will take for altcoins to become popular? on: December 06, 2018, 10:33:15 PM
I think alternate coins are being popular but not as popular as bitcoin. The fact that you will only know alternate coins if you already invested on bitcoin or you worked for bounties. Same thing happens to me so I think its the same to majority of us. Only a few will take risk on crypto currency without investing on bitcoin first. Maybe we can give alts more time. 5 years will be enough to gain the same popularity as bitcoin.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After 2018 slump, Will bounties Die now ? on: December 06, 2018, 10:17:05 PM
I don't think bounties will die as long as ICO's exist. The question should be, "Will ICO's die now?". We all know that ICO's are not successful this year because of the scam. The truth is it is more likely that an ICO is a scam than being legit. That is how worst the situation was and I am not sure how crpyto community handles it. What happened to team behind the ICO scam? Did they go to jail? No one knows, that is why this keeps on happening in a loop.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you invest in Altcoin? on: December 05, 2018, 02:56:39 AM
Its not a question if we should invest it should be a question on when can we invest. The fluctuating market can be an advantage especially if the price is at its lowest. If you check the price now, it is really enticing to invest because we will never experience this kind of sale. We should take advantage of it and hodl until the price goes up.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does a cryptocurrency gain followers? on: December 05, 2018, 01:59:40 AM
I base it on how good the whitepaper is. To answer the subject, cryptocurrency usually gain followers by means of bounties (or at least majority of their followers). It will grow from there. The post from bounty hunters are promoting the ICO and increasing the number of followers until it reached those investors who will be interested on the project as well.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do I have to analyze in the team of an ico? on: December 05, 2018, 01:53:54 AM
Experience says a lot about the team you were trying to analyze. Check previous project and know how it goes. If you just rely on popularity, you might be deceive on the things that they can do and what they cannot. Always remember that popularity doesn't mean anything on crypto. Look at those scam ICO's that sold millions of dollars, they are popular yet they chose not to fulfill their promise.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any ALTCOIN ever overtake Bitcoin ? on: December 04, 2018, 11:59:25 PM
No they cant. Bitcoin will always be at the top and we should just accept it. I don't see a point if an altcoin over thrown bitcoin. Will it be beneficial for everyone? There will be no changes on crypto regardless if bitcoin is at the top or not. The market will still be bear and bitcoin will be number one again because that is where btc is supposed to be.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After 2018 slump, Will bounties Die now ? on: December 04, 2018, 11:57:19 PM
Yes. I think they are dying. If you are thinking about joining bounties, you might be a bit late since only a few of them are successful for this year. You are lucky if you worked for a successful bounty and got paid with a decent reward. It is sad to say this but it might be over for bounties. The scam ICO's are to be blamed for this.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: it's time to buy altcoins on: December 03, 2018, 07:02:30 PM
Yes. It shouldn't be a question considering the fact that the market is at the lowest. Its the lowest I have ever seen since I joined crypto. We should take this opportunity to increase the number of coins in our portfolio. If we are prepared to hodl for long term, we could earn up to 4x the price as we bought it or even more. We can also settle for short term hodl however we should anticipate that it could take longer than we thought it will be.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if all the governments accept crypto? on: December 03, 2018, 06:57:46 PM
I don't see it happening as every country has its own law. However, if it happens I think crypto will be stable than we can avoid the situation where in the coin drops its price at an unreasonable rate. More investors will invest because they will trust crypto more. There will be a lot of investors in the market compared to what we have now which is only a few.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass Bounty hunter or Full time crypto trader on: December 03, 2018, 06:52:37 PM
Being a full time trader means that you should be aware of the movement of the coin you were holding. Sometimes there are pumps that you will miss if you go offline for a few hours. Also, if you don't have that much capital, it can help affect the way you decide on the coins you will sell or hodl. For bounties, the challenges are scam ICO's. If you worked for a scam ICO, you will not get paid and all of the hours spent working for the bounty will be useless. It also takes a while to be rewarded on bounties so I won't recommend it as a main source of income.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is ICO king, Do you agree? on: December 03, 2018, 06:40:46 PM
If we base it platforms, I certainly agree that Ethereum was the King of alternate coins. Even though it was dethroned, I still believe that it will bounce back and regain its throne the same as they did a few months ago. A lot of people have given on Ethereum because big investors selling their own coin causing a price decrease on the market. We should take advantage of the low price and have as many Ethereum as we can.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future looks bright on: November 29, 2018, 09:11:57 PM
A lot of things can happen on crypto and the best thing we can do for now is to move forward and be optimistic. The time will pass and we won't even notice that the market is slowly recovering. Its better to take advantage of the cheap price and increase our portfolio. Little by little, the market will increase and we can sell once we are satisfied with the price. Instead of complaining, invest and let the value appreciate.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What keeps you motivated to Hodl? on: November 28, 2018, 11:02:46 PM
The best motivation we can get is the opportunity to earn. There is no better motivation than that. If you notice, the market keeps on dropping and there will be a time that the only way for it to go is up. That is why we can take advantage of the cheap price and buy as many coins as we can. We might not get this kind of price again. Think of it as a discount that will only last for a short period of time. You can sell later when the value appreciates or if you are happy with the price.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BULL RUN! BULL RUN! BULL RUN! on: November 28, 2018, 09:11:19 PM
They are expecting bull run to happen because they are basing it on crypto's previous performance. A lot of people thought that the demand for crypto will always spike at the end of the year and it will affect the price. I don't agree with that strategy because we should never base the current price on its previous performance. History is just a representation of the previous performance and has no bearing on its current performance or price.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bch sv undervalued now is the time to invest on: November 27, 2018, 12:13:23 AM
Yes. Anyone can tell that this is a great time to invest. However, I pity those who waited until the end of the year just to be slapped with this low price range. I am one of them so I know how it feels to HODL something for months only to know that the situation got even worst than when you bought it. I just hoped that the market will recover as soon as possible.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH double digits on: November 27, 2018, 12:05:09 AM
Yes. If it goes down that low, it will be one of the best buy in the next 5 years. We don't know if it will go down that low. What we need to be sure is that we will be one of those people who bought ETH or Bitcoin when it was at its lowest. Expect the price to increase this week as more people will try to invest on Ethereum. It will be silly if we hesitate especially if we won't take risk on this coin while we can take risk on low ranking coins.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now or never! on: November 24, 2018, 12:33:15 AM
YES. I agree. The coins are too cheap to and it is so hard to say NO to their price. Anyone who has the ability to buy coin should buy now. The market always recover before the end of the year so it is a WIN-WIN situation even if you invest on a short or long term. We will never have a low price like this we need to take advantage on what the market has to offer. I just purchase Bitcoin and Ethereum. I'll wait for XRP to go down as well.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is investing on ICOs still profitable? on: November 24, 2018, 12:16:38 AM
It depends on the ICO. But if you are talking about the number of successful ICO's this year, I don't think they are profitable because only 22% of ICO's are legit based on the stats and 78% were scam or a failure. You decide on where you want to invest but if the risk is too high and the rewards are not that great, think again. It will be best to invest on established coins like Ethereum or XRP. You can also try bitcoin since the price is so cheap that is so hard to say NO.
