It works for AMD files also, thank a lot. GUIDE:
HOW TO MOD OPTIMINER 1.2 FOR WINDOWS TO MAKE IT WORK WITH NVIDIA GPUS
1. Download both Optiminer 1.2 for Windows and Optiminer Equihash 2.0 for Linux.
2. Extract both files in two separate folders.
3. Go to the Optiminer 2.0 folder and navigate to the "bin" subfolder. Find the following 8 files named Nvidia_Equihash192_7-base.bin and Nvidia_Equihash192_7-round1.bin, [...] , Nvidia_Equihash192_7-round7.bin.
4. Copy these 8 files and place them in a new folder. Then rename them as follows: Nvidia_base.bin, Nvidia_round1.bin, [...] , Nvidia_round7.bin.
5. Copy the renamed files and go to the Optiminer 1.2 folder and navigate to the "bin" subfolder. Paste there the files you just copied (overwrite the original files found there).
6. Optiminer 1.2 should work fine now. For better compatibility, use --pci-mode 0 in your config (or *.bat) file. Also, if you have a rig with both Nvidia and AMD gpus, I would suggest running one instance of Optiminer for each platform, by using the -c switch.

This app isn't good on Windows. But for this coin, we have no choice for other miner app (
what version of miner do u use ? i can.t get rx 480 more then 6 s/s
my 570 8gb do 10.5 but anything with 4gb does 5-7 s/s
I use Optiminer 1.2 for Windows. If you 've read the announcement by Demarsac, it says" It is using an alternate set of parameters of equihash algorithm that need at least 8GB of RAM". So I guess it's expected for 4GB gpus to underperform. There is an optiminer version specifically for 4GB gpus. Have you tried that? |

Waiting connect to pool happen with Suprnova also, so I think problem is Optiminer 1.2 Windows 64bit; I will switch to other coin while waiting new miner for Windows

This problem was repeated. Do you have any other AMD Windows miner for mining this coin? Hey guys, I was wondering what are the most effective/power saving gpu settings for mining zero?
While mining ETH, I was undervolting the Sapphire RX480s by 66mV, power set at 75-80% and had the core/mem clocks set at 1150/2150. As for the GTX1070s, I had them at 65%TDP with core/mem +150/+700.
Are the above settings optimal for mining zero?
Btw I am now mining @ Forgetop. There have been a couple of times that mining stopped because there is no work from the pool. Is this something being taken care about?

Hey ConstantinGR, Since you are the second person I hear about this waiting for work thing, I start believing it might be from the pool. We work on the system all the time and sometimes the changes require system reboots that might affect mining process (mostly on windows). Today we pretty much finished all major changes so it will most likely not happen again. However keep in mind that mining zero has nothing in common with mining zcash or ETH and miners always try to reboot, freeze, report errors etc and this might be simply result of all this. |

When I used your pool, run about serveral hours, Optimer (Windows) display connecting to pool or waiting new work fron pool??? Turn off and run again ok, after that repeat. What's behind this crazy pump?

He forgot Windows verion Hello to community, Hope this project rise as it should. I am helping with mining at http://zero.forgetop.comHowever i face some problems with optiminer 1.2 windows. While all the 8 GPUs are recognized, while mining, the miner stops displays the hash of some GPUs. i.e sometimes GPU3 seems not to hashing , othertimes GPU6 etc. Feels like at least one GPU is random disabled every time. is there any parameter i missed? i am losing hash power this way. If you refer for the cycle between two [Total] reports - it is normal sometimes to have a card missing hashrate report. The cards do not obligatory give result in the time frame between two reports. The only thing you should look for is to prevent miner from crashing (usually happens after high overclocking) That is all. I agree with dev. Almost new coins come to some shit exchange, then bump, dump and die in sort time. It's not good.

It's even in the pool announcement that you just quoted?!?! I have never been on any other forum where some/most people are blatantly oblivious to their surroundings (posts, in this case). Blows my fucking mind. |

Because I saw this pool maybe crashed several hour ago. Please check your pool, a lot of blocks passed 720 confirmation still not pay Minerentry says welcome and thanks and is happy for the miners that they have found today and so far over 160 blocks  That is pretty much normal. Pools usually make payouts for several blocks at once. Plus money not always appear right away on the 720th confirmation. |
