21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Guys, there is a question on: August 06, 2017, 04:59:22 PM
What is ICO and how do people do it?
Which platforms for startups and/or ICO are the most popular nowadays?
Thanks

It is initial coin offering. A company can issue its own cryptocurrecny and exchange for bitcoin / ether. Then the company gets the capital to support the product development from ideas.
Ethereum is probably the most popular one.

It is always not a good idea to post your IP address publicly...
23  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ===im a newbie=== can anyone help me about mining === on: July 29, 2017, 03:12:21 PM
hello fellow coiners just want to ask as a newbie what is mining and how to it works. is it fast to earn bitcoin. thank you

It is a slow process to earn bitcoin by mining with normal hardware.
You may not even be able to break-even with normal machine. (cost of electricity vs bitcoin earned.)
24  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Getting Started In DATAMINING on: July 29, 2017, 05:41:55 AM

25  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Getting Started In DATAMINING on: July 29, 2017, 05:19:48 AM
data mining and crypto mining are totally different terms

data mining is analysis of large amount of data to find predictable patterns, like predict diseases by the way of walking of humans during cloudy days.

and all your website is about mining crypto - a process of hash generation

Yes, for data mining, it is usually about different types of algorithm like K-means, classifier, regression...... It is the process of extracting useful information from raw data. So, better to name the website correctly so as to avoid confusion.
26  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Safe to keep coins on exchanges? on: July 28, 2017, 02:26:51 PM
No exchange should be trusted. Mt. Gox was a trusted exchange that was comparable to Kraken yet they suddenly ran off with our coins. Use the exchanges to trade and then send the coins to your own wallet.

yea..... Mt. Gox was one of the biggest exchange at that time... I also prefer to keep coins to your own wallet.
27  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sharing Economy, Blockchain Markets & Crowd-Based Capitalism on: July 27, 2017, 05:31:59 PM
As “crowd-based capitalism” or the “sharing economy” expands, we're taking economic activity out of institutions.

In the established old model, most economic activities were controlled by large companies and institutions like banks.

Now we have a digitally controlled model, a platform that sits between people directly. New technologies based on the blockchain and distributed network make people trust each other enough for these interactions.

The sharing economy is all about people and trust. People are once again being drawn closer together on a global scale.

This is the melding between commerce and community. You could say it is a democratization of opportunities. This will lead to more independent workers and entrepreneurs as the doorkeepers like banks and other institutions are bypassed with favor given to peer-to-peer markets.

In the old model, the large companies have a lot of resources. It usually created high entry barriers to their industries.
Hopefully, the new democratization model allows this situation  to be changed.

Try to join a pool. Also, be aware of having the electricity cost > your bitcoin return.
If you expect bitcoin price will raise, probably it is easier for you to buy some in exchange.

Long password with capital letter, small letter, numbers and symbols. Also be aware of Trojans (keylogger), try not to install unknown software from unknown source.
33  Other / Meta / Re: Multiple accounts on same IP? on: July 24, 2017, 01:41:30 PM
It is ok, don't worry for the same IP.

35  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does mining help you to earn more bitcoin? on: July 23, 2017, 09:57:45 AM
How does mining help you to earn more bitcoin?
And is this mining is the best way to earne more bitcoin?

It is quite hard to profit by mining now (considering the ROI). If you think the bitcoin price will go up, probably buying some bitcoins in exchange is a more efficient way.
