21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Aeternity - the next Ethereum on: December 19, 2017, 06:54:41 AM
They lost about 30% (all ether from their phase 2) of their funds in the parity multisig hack (very unfortunate, not something they did wrong, could have been any other project as well). Since they started in April and raised bitcoin as well, it doesn't actually matter that much, since they still have more that they will ever need to deliver their vision.

You can follow their progress on github.

I'm holding  posw since 0.1$ and thinks it's possible that it will become a game changer. It probably starts to fly as soon as it gets available on one of the big exchanges.

I think nobody expects 7th coin in this thread 2 weeks before 2017 end.

UFO

5 satoshi/coin
no further comments

UFO is my 7 official pick in this thread (5 original, 6th Trezar  Grin and 7th UFO)
Have a nice day.

It's only traded on coinexchange.io -- I've only been reading poor reviews about them. Sounds like users have trouble depositing into the exchange and withdraw fees are high.

Has anyone had success in the last couple days depositing ETH into coinexchange.io ??

I can't follow as well. The project looks ok (can't see a special USP) and the team seems to be commited, but I'm missing the visionary part/use case. Therefore I assume he either knows the dev (and that they will deliver something special) or he knows that they will get onto another (less crappy) exchange which would increase the the demand. Nevertheless I bought some, did the same with XRB (which looked similar at the time) and turned out to be a good pick.

aeternity - they are still not listed on any major exchange, try to solve the one major issue every blockchain is facing today (scaleability) and released their testnet yesterday (https://medium.com/@TwenteMining/aeternity-testnet-deployment-68fa218beb07) . They already went through fire and proved to stay focused. Now they have a strong team and it looks like they start to deliver what they promised. Their competition (i.e. EOS) has a market cap of x10 already. I'm pretty sure this one is still under the radar.

aeternity has just awaken. It's still early to get in, pretty sure this one is going to 5 - 10$ pretty quick.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Most Undervalued Coin listed on binance on: December 13, 2017, 11:33:28 PM
Modum - it COMPLETELY missed the giant bull run for no reason and is still valued at only $30 million. I'm not sure what is going on with Modum, but it needs to go up and up fast.

Agree, it's weird, especially because they hold more money raised from their ico compared to their current valuation.

27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How is POSW still so cheap? Unbelievable gains potential. on: December 04, 2017, 02:36:38 PM
This has to be the coin flying under the radar the most. Since their re-launch they have taken on a new team of skilled developers and released a new website and road map.

Masternodes are being implemented and there is a coinswap on the horizon with a major exchange, although the exchange is yet to be confirmed. The coin has awesome features such as Trustless Proof of Stake as well as privacy, not to mention the 41 million supply (which is low and attractive). If PivX can get to $3 levels then POSW will undoubtedly, $1 is imminent in my opinion.

POSW WEEKLY - This weeks article provides insight on our upcoming 'RSB' mechanism and what it has in store https://medium.com/poswallet-weekly/rsb-rewards-creating-new-models-for-business-2cccfe258572

TESTNET- Our testnet is live and now past block 4606! We have now verified our TPoS feature is stable and working as it should. We will be update our QT wallet in the coming days and extend out to more testers as we are past the initial startup blocks. All features are now active and masternode network is in place. If you are a tester please let us know any bugs, feedback or suggestions you have regarding our wallet or its features in our testnet channel. Any and all feedback appreciated.

Thanks for the reminder. Perfect time to get in, lot of good stuff coming up (especially listing on more exchanges - take a look at their roadmap).
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LOW priced cryptocoins with BIG time potential on: November 24, 2017, 06:04:11 PM
MOD. Currently only on one exchange where it's controlled by a whale, but as soon as it's on a second or third one, it will break out. They also have an exciting roadmap for Q1 2018.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MCO Monaco - Timing bomb countdown on: November 23, 2017, 04:00:31 PM
I'm also waiting for the news (and my card for sure), think it's one of the better projects to invest into.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to invest for 2018 ? on: November 12, 2017, 10:35:33 PM
I think modum has a good opportunity to grow, as they start mass production in Q1 2018 (https://www.reddit.com/r/modum_io/comments/78os54/modumio_milestones_roadmap/).
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Nexus Speculation on: August 31, 2017, 01:19:38 PM
Pretty sure the price will continue to rise till the conference.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO 3 Months From Now on: August 17, 2017, 12:05:40 AM
Now I see a lot of hype without solid reason. This will fade eventually, and investors will switch to another projects. It will drop.

I agree. Still trying to understand what's backing up the hype, other than "It's the Chinese Ethereum" sales pitch. How high can this pump the asset before investors become bored and dump? I mean how viable is this?

I don't like investing on altcoins that had such an overhyped increase in price. I wish I bought when it was worth cents, I didn't, now it's too late and time to move on. Could It pump to $300? Sure, but that's not that much of a gain anymore, compared to the risk of losing your BTC in a stagnating altcoin.

Do you recommend any others that can have their "pump" potential?
Neblio and Spheris ICOs are worth taking a look at since they also all about smart contracts and dapps

Maybe Aeternity as well, the ico is already over, but the token should hit exchanges this month.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Mirrax's HIGH RISK altcoin investment guide for 2017 on: August 13, 2017, 10:52:41 PM
Nexus looking awesome! : Grin

Monitoring it as well. I actually expected the pump next month before their conference, but I don't complain. Looks like the train is leaving early Smiley
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Footy Cash: The Next 50x Run on: August 11, 2017, 07:06:22 AM
Why is this coin transfering from Cryptopia to Coinexchange? Cryptopia is a very good place for this coin. Or is it going to be on both?

Disclaimer: I have footycash myself, got in at about 1000, so, still happy with my profits.

They wanted to introduce masternodes and somehow something went wrong. Thats why you need to convert your coins from the old to the new bockchain atm (if you are on cryptopia), coinexchange will do it for you. I'm still not sure if this is a good situation, at the beginning I thought it might kill the coin, but since everyone needs to convert the coins to not lose his coins, the slack channel is very active, people downloaded the wallet and start running masternodes on the V2 chain. So in the end, it might turn out to be a good this, since the community is stronger than ever before. Also to mention is, that footy (yes, the creator calls himself footy), is a very nice, active guy, you can ask him whatever you want and you will get an answer for sure. As soon as the release and transition to the new blockchain is done, he promised to get the coins listed on more exchanges (hopefully bittrex as well) and he will run a promotion on steemit.

I thinks it's a risky investment, but it might turn out highly profitable.

Had the same issue. Install virtualbox or something like this or ask a friend. You didn't lose anything so far. Theoretically someone should do the exchange for you, but be careful if you trust people on the internet...

Edit: Theoretically you should be able to withdraw your footy coins on cryptopia and send the to coinexchange. Haven't thought of this before. Just make sure to test with a small amount (1 coin) first.

Move away that wall from 14.941...let FOOT rise to the MOON Huh Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

probably someone who wants to buy in at a low price
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Footy Cash (FOOT) | Masternodes Coming Soon!!! |Decentralized Fantasy Sports on: July 25, 2017, 09:05:07 PM
Thankfully I got in way before people started trying to pump it. The natural progression with Foot means I'm not worried about people trying to get short term profits with a pump. It'll get higher as things develop

Agree, I'm in for the long run as well. As soon as foot is coming to one of the big exchanges, the volume will and the price will rise a lot.

What do these exchanges require?  Do they want money? Signatures perhaps?

What will it take?

For bittrex you will find all information here: https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/202583854-Submitting-a-Coin-to-Bittrex
