All depends on 1) demand and 2) whether or not the big whales will keep off it or mine it to crap before it can ever gain any momentum. I put my bet on the latter, but I am still mining anyways. better to get in now than later.
I believe that the max number of coins is not correct, or maybe it is , but it takes 50 years to get to this number... Their site does say 100 BILLION coins. But with the dafuq rewards, who knows...at least that's different from all the others. Gives everyone a more equal chance IMHO.

Net hash already on 500 MH/s WDFQ ? I guess everybody is having fun with this, LOL For a dafuqed launch, it's surprisingly better than a lot of other attempts out here, eheheh now, if dev is able to fix that sync issue, we can really get some fun Oh no...I really hope we aren't going to run into the same sync issue H2O had for ever and ever.

It's a bad ipo investment. Those investors lost their money buying this shit coin. A few who dumped their coins early enough maybe got 20% profit. Anyone past this point though is going to start seeing losses of 50%+. It's their fault though for hanging on even after numerous red flags including TWO failed launches. Congrats on being part of a group who collectively funded a payday in the tens of thousands of dollars for an incompetent idiot. Wish I knew all you IPO investors in real life if it is that easy to take money from you. And of course the dev is going to try to keep you optimistic (just like he did after the two failed launches trying to manipulate IPO investors into not refunding). I'm with the dev on this one though, I actually encourage you not to sell. Once the price is <10 satoshis you might finally wake up to reality and I think it will be a good lesson for y'all (and hopefully you won't be such an easy victim next time). You have no idea what are you talking about. 1) Everyone could ask for a refund. I even sent mails to the people. 2) In every IPO there's risk. I noticed everyone about that and advised to try understand what IPO is and that's risky - Not saying that anyone lost any money. 3) You're accusing me for scamming people. Who the heck are you? 4) "incompetent idiot" -Thank you. See you in 2 weeks, when you'll take those words back. 5) If you're a depressed troll, or just a troll, don't talk about optimism. You have no clue what life is. 6) Stop calling people victims. The only victim here is you, for accusing me and calling me names for no reason. Anyway. H2O just started. @ThisWeeksCoin Looks like I really hit a nerve with that one. You have no argument. Anyway, you're childish. Wont get on your level. Thanks for bumping ( You're free to bump every 5 minutes ) Yours, @ThisWeeksCoin Current buy orders on Poloniex total 0.6 BTC. Looks like people are just jumping at a chance to get their hands on your toxic coin! I'll be back in 2 weeks to quote your above posting, though. =D And I wonder how many H2O coins you hold? yeah I am pretty sure if you didn't hold any, you wouldn't waste your time telling everyone how bad the coin is. Just how big is your bag?

To everyone waiting on deposits at Poloniex, the wallet keeps getting stuck, and getting it going again only inches it forward a few blocks. I'm going to wait until the update is released, because it's just unusable right now.
Good to see a lot of participation on this. I really hope with what seems to be a pretty dedicated community, this mess can be put into the past and some real work can be done.

stuck on block 5357 I am stuck on 6113 and with no connections. The latest 'patch' did NOT include an updated .conf if one was needed.

Alright, so last night after I surged the network with ~15mhash to try and balance the load to other pools dedicatedpools managed to still hold 60-65~% of the total network. As a result they are more or less in charge of the block chain. Which is why wallets are getting stuck. The issue is not with the source code in the wallet. http://ghostbackwards.com/The newest patch looks toward dedicated pools when syncing wallets. Hopefully the network can even out in the next few days. So who controls the pool(s)? If there is a problem with one or them, which is casuing this massive issue for countless people, then shut them down. Yes I said it: Shut them down until they can fix whatever it is that causes the issue. If a pools blockchain is the issue, then we are going to be patching and patching and patching until they fix their issues. That is unacceptable. People are already frustrated enough. If the issue can't be fixed, those who left will not be back As I said before "The newest patch looks toward dedicated pools when syncing wallets. Hopefully the network can even out in the next few days." You will not have to patch for days and days. I've been avoiding using them as a node because I didn't want a single pool to control the network. However they have the majority of the network so I'm using their pool as the node for the blockchain. http://ghostbackwards.com/H2Ocoin_dedicatedpool.zipThis might better help you understand the issue. http://prntscr.com/36brizJust a few words: Holy crap.

stuck on block 5357 Yup. Stuck on the same block.

Just curious...what was the issue? If the fix works, then the problem was with a few of the nodes. I added the latest patch early this AM. Wallet synced. I came home and wallet was still synced, much to my surprise. I closed the wallet and restarted it and it still synced. I used the last patch which contained the new .conf. Since then everything has been operating normally. The question now is, if it was a node, what node was causing the issue and why?

I am starting to get quite aggravated with the Windows wallet issue. This coin should not have been launched unless the team was ready. When is an estimate on the fixed wallet? Seriously.

That worked. Yay. Are we going to have to keep updating our wallet every 12 hours though forever? I'll keep http://ghostbackwards.com/ updated for the time being with a new chain. If it breaks just download the newest patch and you're good to go. Yup so far that did the trick...immediately too. I guess keeping wallet open for now it is. And with that said and keeping the wallet open, so far I have been receiving blocks and have received a payment. Not sure how long this will keep up though.

So when is a Windows fix going to appear?

updated conf with nodes? I also keep seeing "share above target." Also "new best share." but i don't appear to be getting any transactions. Solo mining here. cgminer --scrypt -o http://127.0.0.1:7332 -u X -p X --intensity 11 -g 1 --gpu-memclock 875 -T --verbose -s 2 My current conf: rpcuser=X rpcpassword=X rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=7332 daemon=1 server=1 gen=0 (x replaces the user and PW I chose myself)

Will a GPU ever work on this coin? I am very interested in it.

I just got a new PC, built it myself from a kit:
APU: AMD A10-7700K Kaveri 3.5GHz Socket FM2+ 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor with integrated AMD Radeon R7 GPU VGA: PowerColor Radeon 7870 Ghz edition AX7870 2GBD5-2DHV4E, PCIe 3.0 // Memory: 1200 Engine: 1000
My settings in cgminer currently (NOTE: I am still tinkering with the settings as I just got this miner fired up 2 days ago:
--intensity 12 -T -g 1 --gpu-memclock 885 --shaders 1280 Kh/s with these settings: just a hair under to a hair over 300.
I can tinker the intensity to 13 or 14, but haven't tried about that. I can memclock at the highest of about 925...though 885-900 seems to be best for me. Anything higher or closer to 1200, and I lose an astounding amount of kh/s. I haven't really played with any other settings yet as I'm really quite pleased with my kh/s at the moment.
If anyone has any other advice, I would love to hear it.

Really? Dopecoin and Potcoin? Which ripped off the other and which one is better?

Does anyone know what happened to the Blockchasers potcoin pool? I can't seem to get to the site.
