They will search for info and news about bitcoin.
Social media can make bitcoin viral.
For this age, it will be easy because of social media.

I think because of some whales having earlier vacation and celebrating preparation or having gift present for christmas and new year. So, they sold tons of btc which caused the btc price dropped, but they would come back not long.
The newcomers following them to sell and keep selling without knowing when's good chance or not, then they ended up regret when seeing btc price rises again a little bit.

If you're not too late or you can be on break even point and sell at that time, you can wait for it drops until its resistant line, then you will be fine.
You can buy at low and it worth much, because I believe bitcoin always bounce back, even if you have bought at high.
Just buy again at low when you have much more money, then hold. This will be your chance.
I got extra profit when bitcoin-bitcoincash hardforked and with china banning news, then this time after hit new ATH, then dropped.
Bitcoin gotta be more and more popular time after time and trending worldwide, even people who don't know it before can notice.
So, it will be higher and higher. Just a matter of time.

You need to be really careful when analyze. Better with studies tools like stochastic, RSI, etc.
you need to look how many supports which can stand against sell wall, how much it increases from last time, how much it decreases.
need to see how's the pattern from buying and selling charts.
but, the most important is actually you need to be whale to be able to influence the market or charts mover, like pump and dump group (this point is just bonus if you are)

If you are new to market, just try to see bitcoin and the exchanges bitcoin to fiat or you can see from coinmarketcap about top 10 coins, then you do the research about those. How's their project (beside bitcoin), how's their plans, how's the whitepaper, roadmap and their works.
The offering coins you mean ICO? It's so much like gambling. it has biggest risk to take, but if you're luck, it will blow your mind.
but, it's fine as long as you can afford to lose what you invest.

Normally, there is no signal for trading with high accuracy pump and dump for any coin.
You better avoid pump and dump channels/groups and the indicators.
They just buy lots to convince and then it would be going up and FOMO buyers would enter.
When they got profit, they just dump again.
Luckily if you have good exit strategy when it'll happen or you just end up holding and never know when you're supposed to take less loss with cutloss and cause you lost big

Actually, some altcoins which you think are special or have potential and they are still hundreds or thousands satoshis will blow your mind if they were going up about 100% or even hit 1000% in a week or probably they are long-term which can stand up against bitcoin pumping.
the best moment to buy altcoin is when bitcoin is stable, not going up or being pumped moment or even drop hard.
because some whales will sell their much portions of altcoins that will create bleeding market.
always buy in the dip and hold for short and/or long-term with all coins you can believe in.
but, just spend a little bit if you already think bitcoin is permanently leading and no chance for alt.

I ever watched one of china exchanges.
they said government just banned the trade exchanges for digital to their fiat currency, BTCCNY.
so, after that, they released digital to more international fiat currency trade exchanges, BTCUSD.
until now, the market is fine and most of chinese traders or investors seem comeback.
or you can try overseas market.
that's the best way to trade

I think altcoin will do as bitcoin does, but need couple times to grow up for really really being superb.
with great plans, great features, etc.
Bitcoin has been taking some years to grow up like nowadays. From when it was so cheap.
If you want to spend your bucks, I suggest you have both coins, bitcoin and altcoin.
Up to you how many you will divide into them.
But, altcoin has bigger potential profit when it grows up just like bitcoin if you invest on the right project.
