A opensource kernel is worth 0 because it is available free for evyone to use and cannot be resold. You need to optimize/improve the code to have value. I turn something that is worth 0 to something valuable. This is not stealing, this is improving. Not sure where did You get Your law expertise from, but it's definately wrong. Then You should make separate package with Your 'improvements' and leave OS code as it is, since by hiding it You violate license. But it's brought up to You so many times that I'm not even sure You know what license violation mean. Make Your improvements on Windows 10, take of those identity stealing features and start selling it as 'Windows 10_sp-mod'. I'm willing to see what Microsoft representatives are going to do ^^ And yeah, fact that Windows is closed-source doesn't matter at all in this pariticular example. Aside from _sp offtopic, One of my cards (Gaming X) getting high temp lately (~70C with ~16C ambient), got it on 65% PL already, fans locked at 80%, other 2 got ~54C with 75% PL. These hot one is not primary GPU, any ideas what could help to lower it's temperature a litte aside from external fan? |

Is the PoS feature actually working? I tried to trigger PoS by sending an arbitrary number of 0.1 POS to my own address as instructed in ANN thread, but didn't get any mining reward. However, my coinage reverted to zero after this. Previously I held about 105 POS in my wallet which I had not moved since I got them from the past airdrops and confirmed that my stake was worth ~ 5 POS with the tool provided in postoken.org official site. (I had a coinage of about 2200 IIRC). But if it is gone pass the block 80000 and just say i will stake after that block, normaly i should receve coins from behind, no?
Nope, if You stake after block 80k you'll get rewards calculated for new APR which will be 100% yearly. |

The remaining tokens from the airdrop will be distributed to all token holders. So if i got a small amount of tokens (15) in the airdrop and i hold this amount since the beginning, then i will get some from the remaining tokens? I agree with the notion that we need to increase marketing. However there is still an underlying problem alluded to in some earlier posts. If the only purpose of this coin is staking, then it is not sustainable. The only way to keep the value up (esp in light of the increasing supply) is to bring in new investors. Those investors will only be able to realize their profit (i.e. sell their coins) by selling to new investors coming in. When you run out of investors, and you will, there will be lots of sellers but no more buyers and the price crashes. (Note: That doesn't mean 808 is dead, it could sit at a low level for some time until a fresh group of people come in and want to invest/stake.)
Marketing alone isn't the answer. If you really want this coin to be successful over the long term, there needs to be uses for it other than staking.
I agree 100 %. As I mentioned before the person who is in charge about the webse can contact me because I am willing to improve it. But someone has to care about a whitepaper/roadmap/blockexplorer/onlinewallet. Otherwise stacking will not be enough to get new investors. I am willing to help improve 808, work on the website and improve the marketing and the messaging. I am doing this already for a small $100K market cap coin. But before we go out market this like crazy we need to create a vision for the coin. What does this coin want to be when it grows up? What are the use cases? I examine for almost 3 hours ago and still nothing  May be ethereum network congested so it will take time and 0.1 is very small gas price, better use 2-5 gwei for faster transactions. I use 1 gwei transaction gets confirmed in less than a minute Ye the Ethereum network has its ups and downs, at 1 gwei and a crowded network it will take way longer, but there a certainly moments where the amount of transactions is way lower and 1 gwei goes within the minute. Guys since it's 0 to 0 transfer it holds nearly 0 information thus confirm always gonna be instant. Just call the mint() function before transaction and you lose nothing. Somewhere in this thread was calculations what is more profitable to hodl 90 days or mint() more often. Difference is very small. You won't lose any coinage when You transfer new funds to your wallet. But when You mint at next day You'll lose 1 day of coinage of new coins So always try to mint before sending new funds to Your wallet. Also don't call mint() |

Don't call mint function. You're robbing Yourself and Your transaction can be rejected because of low gas. Instead just send 0 (Yeah ZERO) POS from YOUR WALLET to YOUR WALLET(same one). Leave gas limit as it appears but lower gas price to whatever you feel like (assuming You are using MEW). I have a question, the amount of tokens shown by the calculator is for 90 days, or for 3 days? The amount in calculator is always for your actual coin age. So if You check it at day 3 it'd show est. reward for minting at this moment. I up to now have 112 tokens in the calculator em says this: 3 tokens EXPECTED REWARD COINAGE: 1050 TOKEN-DAY But I really do not understand how to do the coinage, if you have to have eth in the wallet to be able to staking, and how much would it be? Multiply your coins * days you hold. But it wont show until day 3. |
