21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best ways to invest money? on: November 17, 2021, 08:43:19 AM
Its best to stick with well knows coins and those that can offer good staking or any other rewards while holding. On of the best opportunities now is Kucoin token which has huge gain potential and also offers nice APY and other opportunities on Kucoin exchange.
Just don’t be too greedy and put too much money in useless meme coins.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does the BULL MARKET Affects the NFT markets on: November 17, 2021, 08:38:57 AM
i have been watching closely the crypto market and I wanted to ask if the bull market that affects crypto also affects THE NFT markets. most NFT Markets that I know have a close groups or secret groups where they instruct their owners and creators to increase the price of their NFTs. i have never seen where such is been done and I don't think that is how the crypto space works.
What determines the price of NFTS?

I am afraid, that NFT will be one of the areas of crypto that will take the biggest plunge if we slip into deep crisis. And while coins will recover during the next bull run, current NFT will probably just be replaced by new one and will loose value. I cant see how in a current bombardment of NFT, people expect the price to be higher then it’s the cycle 2017-2021 repeats again.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: correction or start of a bear market? on: November 16, 2021, 11:46:05 AM
Three trillion $ marketcap seemed to be the trigger for this correction. Crypto got way too much world exposure in the last year to just fall into the deep bear market. Unfortunately shit meme coins are taking away a huge chunk of new money that is coming in crypto and that money becomes worthless when a rugpull happens. The sooner people will stop being to greedy and invest in real project, the faster will marketcap grow again.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are crypto owners naturally paranoid? on: November 15, 2021, 09:25:46 PM
It seems to me that it would be safer (and more convenient) to keep your crypto on an exchange (coinbase, blockfi etc) than cold wallet. Wouldn't the odds be greater that you mess up your cold storage than a large exchange being hacked or whatever (even if they are hacked, that wouldn't necessarily mean you would lose any coins, whereas if you are hacked that's a different story). I ordered a ledger nano X but it seems that the exchanges are still the way to go based on probabilities. What are your thoughts?

I think cold wallet is definitely safer if you take percussion and store your seed in two different physical places that you know for sure are safe. I dont think Binance or any other exchange guaranties you your money back if they get hacked. If you do decide to trust exchanges more, then its better to spread your coins trough few exchanges with best reputation.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to avoid all scams? on: November 15, 2021, 06:38:36 PM
Do you think it is possible to completely get rid of scams?

Hello everybody. I think everyone who has ever been involved in cryptocurrency investments is interested in the question of how to protect themselves from scams and loss of money. Recently I learned about the CheckDot project, which creates a platform with which it will be possible to get an assessment of any project in the blockchain world. In theory, this way you can get rid of a lot of scams, but does it help?

What do you think, is it possible to somehow get rid of scams among crypto projects?

It is possible if you stick to well recognized and most valued projects. Unfortunately, most of us are blinded by the huge gains of shitcoins and become easy target for scammers, but if you are not too greedy, you will be able to avoid unreal promises and stick to top gems which have a solid team behind who doesnt hide behind anonymity.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Community means everything on: November 15, 2021, 06:36:06 PM
Well you are party right about that. You can have a huge community like Shiba has, but on the other side you still need a solid project with developers who are constantly making product better, otherwise there is no point in holding that coin because sooner or later meme hype will be over and there will be nothing left for Shiba to go up. Trends always end and get replaced by something new.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: November 14, 2021, 09:45:45 AM
Hello everyone, my question is: how often do you invest in new and young projects? Aren't you afraid of losing money if the project closes?

I want to invest in a promising project called CheckDot. Their token sale starts this weekend and I think this is a good opportunity to successfully invest money.

Share your thoughts on such an investment. Maybe you have some interesting cases on this matter.

Unfortunately its getting harder to find a decent real project lately. At least in 2017 ICO bubble, there was a bit of risk involved for the developers if they did a exit scam because they could be charged of manipulating and lying to the investors. Nowadays, all you need to do is write your coin is a meme and doest have any purpose. If rug pull happens, no one can hold anything against them.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No one can continue ignoring Bitcoin on: November 13, 2021, 06:22:39 PM
If in 2017 we were still not sure if we got our hands on something which will be worldwide accepted, now we can be sure that crypto blew up beyond our community here. We can now be sure that only huge depression can stop crypto adoption in the near future.
Since providers make it easier every day to buy and spend crypto, basically everyone can join in.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: November 13, 2021, 06:18:10 PM
Be sure to teach your partner or kids or parents how to use your private keys if something happened to you. For all we know our coins can be worth millions after we die and would be a giant waste not to educate someone and pass it on.
I myself made sure that my partner knows how to use what i have or at least knows where to look.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Floki Inu vs Shiba Inu on: November 13, 2021, 06:17:36 PM
Both are useless coins and crypto market would be better off without them. We saw what happened in May when crypto almost crashed because of those annoying meme tokens who just drag money from real projects. Unfortunately, greed is too strong and its might take down whole crypto market eventually.

32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No more long term bear market on: November 10, 2021, 10:43:45 AM
Well 2021 really showed us how crypto changed since 2018, when everyone was just waiting for the crash which was inevitable to be honest.
Now we still see huge fluctuations but world adoption is so spread out, that there is much less chance for such a huge drop. Imagine, how its gonna be in 5 years.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I Missed Out of a 10 Year Bitcoin Investment Plan on: November 10, 2021, 07:58:29 AM
Most of us here has a story or two to tell on how we nearly became millionaires Cheesy Everyone seems to be so close to that one trade, which would make them rich but always miss is by a fraction. I still think we are early if you look at the next 10 years and there are still lots of chances to at least earn decent profit for our retirement.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: November 05, 2021, 05:43:18 PM
Binance smart chain was on of the smartest things Binance lunched since the creation of the exchange. Its mind blowing how fast BSC was adopted and massively accepted by developers and investors. If ETH doesnt fix their fees soon, it will be in real trouble not to get overrun by BSC.
I wonder if Kucoin is also thinking about jumping on a train with their own blockchain.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with the hype on: November 05, 2021, 05:39:15 PM
We have had several hyped coins and token lately and many have been a victim of hyped projects that ended up crashing in not long after attaining a very little profit margin. Been extremely careful with how we go about our analysis will help save a lot. Just wondering why developers would come up with nice projects only to crash after a short while keeping investors in losses.

This has been a massive problem since 2017 ICO hype. The problem is greed is stronger than common sense and there will always be scammers who are looking to earn a quick buck.
Right now meme coins are cancer to crypto universe and they will eventually probably lead to another crash.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Necessary reminder: watch out for $5 wrench attacks on: November 04, 2021, 12:19:35 PM
Thats why you dont brag about how much crypto you own or worse yet, post your portfolio online. If you did that in 2017, and someone who knows ur identity rat you to some criminals, you will end up in a bad shape. Its much easier to steal from a geek at home than from a bank.
Thank god not everywhere is as bad as in USA when it comes to crime.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can SHIB rise to 0.1? on: November 02, 2021, 10:15:00 AM
Of course not. That would mean its marketcap would be 30 x higher that bitcoin. What i hope is that people get their stuff together soon and stop buying useless meme coins. We are now looking at the exactly same scenario as 6 months ago. If greed money will keep flowing in to meme tokens, we are gonna see a crash soon.

39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador bought more BTCs on: September 21, 2021, 05:51:20 AM
It looks like bitcoin is slowly getting accepted in El Salvador. Already 1,6 million people are using official BTC wallet Chivo, which is almost 25 % of whole population. Of course, there are many who oppose crypto which usually happens to every new law or proposition.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to use private keys post societal collapse on: September 20, 2021, 06:26:22 AM
It won’t be long until we see a scene in some movie of someone being tortured for their seed phrase. Those phrases would be the new prayers, people would have to repeat it to them self’s every day and it would actually be the safest way to store money.
