21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[EXCHANGE] Register at UPcoin.com for beta-testing and get your $500 reward🔥 on: January 23, 2018, 09:29:14 AM
So here we are Monday night ..... and no update on the webpage. It seems like this is a recurring pattern. We ask when will we see updates .. we get told soon .. by xxxx day or xxx date and then we never see them.

How to get customers to your new exchange as of 2018
1. Make sure your exchange is CIA-proof (at least tell it is)
2. Hand out and revolve everything around an unusually high amount of sign-up bonus for a limited amount of time
3. Have everyone refer other people promising the same things and gain massive amount of media coverage FOR FREE.
4. Wait for a moment after the 'official' end of bonus to claim you were busy due the high influx of people

5. Have an awesome exchange?

Atleast it's not an ICO you invested in, give them some time.

Yeah, the 6% is getting me too.  Its just too much.  Token holders should get a portion, or lower it.

What markets is this targeting?  What countries?  In the US would you need a disclaimer with possible tax implications?  I can imagine a grandpa buys it for his grandson in November and gives it for Christmas.  The change in value should be taxed now.  Which is ridiculous but is what it is this year at least.

How will it reach stores?  Do you have to individually market it to each store or are there groups that handle getting gift cards into the store?

Hi there!

Please read the above articles if you have not done so yet. We are confident Gift Cards will be more fungible than ATM's will ever be, just because of the 'Gifting' idea behind them.

As for your other remarks:

1. Token holders 'get' a portion in the form of burning 1% from the 6% fees. Together with an ever increasing demand and value, the token will also be used on our future platform to receive various advantages such as most exchanges are doing lately. We are open to discuss any other advantages for tokenholders with the community, all ideas are welcome, here or on any (social) platform you can find, so please share whatever comes to mind that might increase our goal of global cryptocurrency adoption!
2. We cannot disclose any countries before we are sure we can/will sell gift cards there. At this moment we are not reaching to individual stores since we have to be sure of some form of legal insurance in every country we will be selling gift cards. We will however enclose all needed information in every gift card sold to make sure every buyer or receiver of our gift cards will always comply to local regulations.
3. The cards are planned to reach the stores the same way as for example Google Play or iTunes cards, distribution will be discussed with the same companies responsible for distributing these existing cards.

In order for us to be able to roll out as fast as possible (and as secure as possible), we came up with the idea of performing an ICO to raise needed funds to be able to pay for this whole process. These funds will be spend as can be found on our white paper and/or website, but in essence it will be for starting legal conversations in countries world-wide (perhaps/probably based on country interest in our ICO), paying for at least a part of the development of our online platform: the exchange, the API connections needed, our mobile app , ... Also the initial production and distribution of our Gift Cards will be paid from these funds (slowly evolving to being self-sustainable thanks to the fee asked for every gift card).

We are always looking for ways to improve our future product so any form of advice, feedback, criticism,... is appreciated!

Please let us know if there is anything else unclear!

Picking the right campaign to join is the same as picking the right coin to trade. Nothing is certain, but given these coins are earned and didn't cost you anything, hodling is what makes you rich!

Did you release a list of coins you'll be trading already? Can't seem to find something related to that...
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY-HUNTERS - the best place to find or launch bounty campaign on: January 18, 2018, 03:15:38 AM
This is a good idea, it can help especially for newbies and don't have all time in the world in reading the forum. But I think they will demand something in return for their service.
There aren't much things free in this world sadly. But well, considering current prices, Bitcoin was like 'free' like a year ago lol

34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining at €0.04 ($0.048974) / kWh on: January 16, 2018, 11:36:38 PM
Check out whattomine.com and you can input your electricity cost and video cards and it will tell you what is currently the most profitable to mine.
Yes, it's the one I use to check it all hehe. Had been toying with the idea of having some settings preset and choose daily (/hourly) to mine the currency most profitable. But then again, most profit made with mining (as with trading) is mostly just hodling. Or having luck if you sell and buy at the right times.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining at €0.04 ($0.048974) / kWh on: January 16, 2018, 10:51:45 PM
What coins would you recommend to mine at these rates?
The difference between the most power hungry algos and the least demanding ones is noticeable but usually isn't the deciding factor when selecting what coins to mine. You first figure out what hardware you can buy for the money you're willing to invest, then find the most profitable coins to mine while keeping the power consumption in mind (or not — if the electricity is cheap). It's almost impossible to buy any GPUs in most parts of the world right now, so you'll first have to find something to mine with and only then worry about nuances like power consumption.  Smiley
Are video cards really that hard to get by these days? I'm sorry, my mining research dates from more than 6 months ago hehe Smiley

Hallo allemaal!

buy the coin, dont waste your time, right now is the best time to buy.
Well can't argue with that. But given' mining is actually always a process of waiting at least a year after you mine it... I got 2 ETH stuck in an address for which I forgot the password that I mined for like 50$ on genesismining almost 2 years ago. I was glad I finally found my password when eth was 400$... Guess what I did... damn would've had 3 times for what I've sold a darn month ago... Discount time okay, but the growth has been too much lol
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY-HUNTERS - the best place to find or launch bounty campaign on: January 16, 2018, 08:10:37 PM
i honestly like the idea though but how can u know which one is a good ico
Research is key to every investment! With the current discount on the market it's time to apply 'Buy when there's blood in the streets' hehe.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining at €0.04 ($0.048974) / kWh on: January 16, 2018, 08:09:13 PM
I have the possibility through a friend of mine. What coins would you recommend to mine at these rates?

coin you can mine actually depends on your GPU and what project you believe in, i suggest to do a lot of research first  Grin
Well compared to mining at €0.20+ / kWh here that's a dream lol, the GPU aren't the problem, if they still work after a year you get them 'for free'.
I've done some research in the past but was just hoping for some advice from some more experienced miners!
