Do you think Bitcoin will become the first world currency for buy and sell ?  Grin
In 9 years in the virtual world, bitcoin is slowly become popular to the people especually to the netizens. So there is a high chance that bitcoin can be our world currency for any activities that involved money and economy.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: actual number of people using Bitcoin? on: June 14, 2018, 04:32:35 PM
Is there a way to determine the number of people who are actually using Bitcoin till date? Who would have access to such information? Meaning a way to find out, how many new people have used Bitcoin in 2016 , so that we can say exponential growth is natural not artificially created by hoarders.
I think it is hard or impossible to detect the number of people that are using bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, as of now, some bitcoin users are undetectable and they have their own privacy to hide themselves and some have multiple accounts so it is hard to know it.
23  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is a bitcoin REALLY worth? on: June 13, 2018, 04:36:44 PM
The value of bitcoin is determined by how desperate are the people, who want to buy bitcoins. Grin
Other people are talking about supply and demand. They are right, but i have other point of view.
If there was only one buyer of the entire btc market and that buyer is willing to pay 1 million US dollars for one bitcoin, the market price of one btc would be 1M USD.Sound`s crazy ,but it`s true.
It`s like buying a rare painting. Some buyers are willing to pay 100$ ,others are ready to pay 10 million USD.
Yeah, you have a good point. Supply and demand is one of the factors that may affects the price of the bitcoin and other cryotocurrency. Just like what you have been said if the demand is vey high then probably its price will start to grow and vice versa.
24  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bad news for Bitcoin on: June 13, 2018, 03:22:44 PM
If the opinion of Robert Schiller is seriously taken into account by investors from around the world, it is simply because he was the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2013. But when it comes to talking about Bitcoin, man does not chew his words. He is not seized by the craze that surrounds crypto-currencies for several months now.
Mr Schiller believes that Bitcoin is a speculative bubble that will end up exploding, even if in itself this virtual currency should not disappear.
Bitcoin will never be disappear in just a quite of time because as of now people are believing to bitcoin they are using bitcoin on their daily living so that it is a good sign that bitcoin is very useful and it can live muh longer or maybe forever.
25  Economy / Speculation / Re: Better Late than Never? on: June 12, 2018, 11:07:54 PM
Huh I couldn't wait any longer and jumping into cryptocurrency pretty late. I understand I have invested at the high end as of late, but with the rapid growth over the last several weeks I would be a fool not to jump in.

What are the predictions of the bubble before it bursts and drops back down?

Also, I imagine it should become my goal, as an investor, to actually use the bitcoin for what it was created to do. Peer to Peer purchasing in a free market, not relying on the banks or 3rd party taking their cut. Where can I begin actually using bitcoin to purchase normal household items?
Yeah, it is better to be late than never. Atleast you will try to do a thing that there is no hundred percent sure you will succeed but atleast you tried. Another thing is that because of you try and try it you can gain an experiences that you can use in your future, so it is not a loss at all.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: June 12, 2018, 08:51:32 PM
We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.
I think this kind of stuff can happen but it has a lower chance that it may happen, banks are usually run with fiat money so it is hard to use cryptocurrency to a bank because cryptos are very complex thing to manage.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that other coins move faster? on: June 11, 2018, 02:37:36 PM
Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralised decision making in development?

In other words, does the community effect of decentralisation enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?

I think bitcoin reach its limit now so as of now we can see that bitcoin is slowly moving upside down, but a few months from new we can see that bitcoin will move faster and hit its peak again.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite source of information about cryptocurrency news ? on: June 11, 2018, 01:50:17 PM
What is your favorite source of information about cryptocurrency news and about coins themselves? Do you go to Reddit or read medium articles? How do you filter and get ones that appeal to your investing interests? I find everyone has different ways of learning about crypto and I'd love for people to share with me their own.
My favorite sources of information about cryptocurrency are the experiences of my friends about having cryptos on their lives and also this forum, this forum is very helpful to me as a newbie in the crypto community. I learned many things and I enjoying it.
29  Economy / Speculation / Re: The real problem of bitcoin price decline on: June 07, 2018, 11:59:01 PM
It's only a problem if you bought high.

Yeah, if you buy a bitcoin is a high price then it is a big problem because there is a chance that you will earn a lower profit and it is bad to a bitcoin user.
30  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late? (To buy Bitcoin now) on: June 07, 2018, 11:55:27 PM
Well if we speak about gaining on bitcoin i think there is no required time on making an act of productivity. We can really buy bitcoin anytime anywhere without any hesitation  and we really didnt have to be afraid about the price because dropping and pumping is really the nature of it and we really need to make sense of it so that we can become more productive and we don't feel like panic all times.
Yeah, there is no required time for being productive and gaining a bitcoin. The point is you will be opwn for being part of the bitcoin community. So it is not too late to buy a bitcoin today.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Things you should know before investing in bitcoin on: June 06, 2018, 10:50:09 PM
Things you should know before investing in bitcoin

What everyone wants is to have a stable job and get good savings, the best option is to work the money to get more income for the future and thus have a better quality of life and what better to invest in bitcoin but before you should know certain things about This cryptocurrency.

it is not regulated: there is no entity that regulates and monitors this type of investment. So you should be aware that if you lose your money, nobody will answer

Bitcoin is a high-risk investment: people should know that the level of risk is very high, due to volatility and inability to predict its price. "

Do not get into debt to buy cryptocurrencies: this really should not be done with this or with another investment, if you are going to work your money with extra money you got.

Do not invest more than you are willing to lose: "it is recommended that you do not invest your savings in this currency; on the contrary, invest 1% of your assets, something that you are really willing to lose".

Use reliable pages: use safe sites to navigate and also only use reliable devices such as your cell phone, your computer and your home's wireless network. Never use public networks neither to make investments nor for any type of financial consultation.

Stable job is one of a person need, jobs help people to gain money, to improve theirselves and to soar their passion. For me, the things you should know before investing to bitcoin are: first, you must be literate about investing and about bitcoin, you must be strong hearted and to be risk taker in doing a investment.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: June 05, 2018, 11:58:54 PM
Bitcoin is indeed risky. But bank investments are risky too. In our country (coz I'm not sure if this exist in other countries). When you have a large amount on your account they will call you and ask you if you want to invest, minimum of 20,000 Php (or 400 USD). They will propose some investment plans where there is a choice of low, medium, or high risk investment. When you choose the high risk there is a chance to lose or gain 100% of your investment (Medium is 75% and low is 50% if I remember it right). It doesn't make sense to me, it sounds like a scam, they will invest using your money and you don't have any control to it. That is why I like bitcoin more, coz Though it is risky and it's very volatile, you have full control on your investment.

What do you guys think?
For me, bitcoin is much riskier than a bank, but the advantage of bitcoin is that you are the one that can handle your money, you are the one that may observe and hold it without the help of others, and also investing in bitcoin makes you earn a higher profit than investing to banks.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to improve Bitcoin Community on: June 05, 2018, 11:49:21 PM
Lets give our own opinions in this thread and let's see what are the visions of any users here on forum on what are the things than can affect bitcoin community and value to improve more Wink

So i'm the maker of this thread i'm the first who gives opinion here.
My opinions are:
- Spreading good informations about bitcoin can make it improve.
- If big business will accepts bitcoin or enter bitcoin industry can improve our community because the more investors the more blessings to come Smiley
- Helping newbie investors to prevent scams can help our community because if they see bitcoin in their first invest are scam they would lose their trust in this kind of investment so as soon as possible help newbies to start in bitcoin journey.

These are my opinions on how to improve Bitcoin community so what's yours? Wink
For me, to improve the bitcoin community, we must share are thoughts and experience to other people, we must say the truth and dont share any fake or false news. And tell them to be literate and dont be afraid fo enter the crypto world.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: June 04, 2018, 06:57:15 AM
There are people using Bitcoin as currency, so it didn't fail. But it's not a rule and each person can use Bitcoin as it better fits their needs. Maybe it looks strange that people use a currency as investment option because we see our traditional currencies losing price each new day, being unprofitable to hold, otherwise we would have fiat as a glimpsed investment too and not only to pay for our needs.

More people will start using BTC as currency if it's interesting for them. It can be achieved when more stores from different sectors start accepting BTC as payment and consequently when the demand for the digital currency increases.
For me, bitcoin is not failed as a new currency, although bitcoin is still new to our ear and it is still developing, we can say that today bitcoin has a big impact to the netizens especially to the millennial who are technology literate. There are still lots of people who are using bitcoin today, and its price is very expensive because of the supply and demand in the market. So we cant say that bitcoin is failed but we can say that bitcoin is starting to overcome its success.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My country banned bitcoin. What I can do ? on: June 04, 2018, 06:29:38 AM
I love bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. I feel more comfortable doing so and will do whatever that I can to support it. Now tell me how can I work with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies? Although it is illegal in my country.

My country Bangladesh.

Apologies if this is not the right place to discuss.
Thanks in advance.
I am sorry to hear that, maybe there is another way to solve this kind of problem, maybe there is a chance that they can legalized bitcoin and other cryptos on your country. Bitcoin and cryptos are still a complex thing and it is hard to a government to check and search for the people who are undergoing a transaction with bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does bitcoin have value? on: June 02, 2018, 05:07:45 AM

-I think It is popular. many people accept and trade in Bitcoin because It is recognized and accepted as a currency by many.
-Bitcoin is decentralized and limited. This is a major factor for many Bitcoin users. Bitcoin is hard for governments to trace and tax
-Bitcoin acts like an equity investment. The market value of Bitcoins has had wild swings in value and even a market cap.
-Bitcoin is a social network. The Bitcoin "community" is active and acts like other online social networks.
-There are only 21 million bits so it has the same value as gold.
Bitcoin is valuable because bitcoin is limited just like what you have been said there are only Million or maybe a Billion of bitcoin so that its proce is very expensive. Bitcoin is very popular today, it is one of the well known crypto of all.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government and Bitcoin on: June 02, 2018, 04:58:23 AM
Why, until now, government all over the world still doesn't trust bitcoin?

No, you are wrong, some of the government of every country doesnt trust bitcoin, not all government. Some of the countries today are accepting bitcoin, not just the government but also some stores, I dont know what is that country but it is true.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto replace fiat money? on: June 02, 2018, 04:45:15 AM
I would like to know if cryptocurrency will replace fiat money in the future,  also if so how long it will likely take.  Also,  I would like to know which coin you think would take over if one will.  (E.G. Dogecoin,  BTG, LTC, XMR)
For me, if cryptocurrency help people for their daily lives then I think it is a good idea to replace the fiat money, cryptocurrency today especially bitcoin is very popular today and I think it is a stepping stone to cryptos.

40  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.008 BTC loan - WITH COLLATERAL on: May 08, 2018, 08:15:44 AM
Please let me know what coins you can give as collateral for this loan.

Thx.

You can check the ETH address down on my signature but  telling you, those are shitcoins so I prefer my account as collateral.

I don't think anyone will accept your account as collateral on this amount (0.008BTC).

Also, https://etherscan.io/address/0x06af1d00E841ab3bd16F4E8F489f8D77A1a29C37 - $7.27

Really? Maybe my account is not worth 0.008? How about if I lower it to 0.007?

That's why I don't prefer those coins.

Seeing that you bargain with your account price, I guess that you just want sell  it covering  under loan.

Hmm, With all due respect Sir Zazarb, it just happened that I want someone to fulfill this loan. I lowered the loan amount because no one accepts my account as they think it's not worth that much. I have this pending tokens from bounties but wont be release until next week and I need money for this week that's why Im here in this section; hoping that I'll get what I requested but base on what I see, I'll not.

If I want to sell this, I should've not post on this section; Maybe I don't need to defend myself from persecution of this people and soon get a negative feedback just because you offended them in an argument that they started in the first place.
