Bitcoin is a type of money but is not necessarily a way to be rich instantly, it still depends on the individual, because one may have a lot of bitcoins earned but does not know how to both save and invest, then it is pointless and does not lead you to a life of financial freedom.

Bitcoin to be used to pay for uber is a very good idea since this will help spread the idea of bitcoin, what it is and how to use it to more people since Uber is widely used by a lot of people. Also it is more safe and practical because you readily have "money" to use for payment, rather than worrying if you have enough cash to pay for Uber.

Personally speaking, bitcoin and gold cannot be equally compared side by side since both have different uses to different people. It is a matter of how an individual values them. On the practical side, I believe that bitcoin is easier to get since it is a product that is trying to reach more on and more peoppe as time goes by.

I first heard about bitcoin from my professor,he was discussing different types of money and he mentioned financial technology and later on explained about bitcoin and the pros and cons about using it. Sadly, it is still not widely known in my country.

I would definitely give bitcoin as a wedding gift because it is good as cash and a very practical gift, especially for anyone starting with their new lives together, bitcoin will be put into good use as they may either save it for the future, the rainy days, or use it to buy things they need.
