21  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if we use a one currency only? on: December 10, 2017, 03:32:25 PM
[Edited to make it more understandable question]
What if all nation use only a one currency or one global currency?, What will happen to our world?, What is the effect of every nation's or every country economy?, It can make people's unite each other?Any opinion. Cheesy

There will be chaos and the one's controlling the cash flow will be the one to be blamed. Just the idea of it makes me shivers. A scarce supply, chaos all around and only selected few are previleged.
22  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you choose bitcoin? on: December 10, 2017, 02:08:50 PM
Hey all,

I’m conducting a research on cryptocurrencies and I’m especially interested in why people choose Bitcoin. And since you are bitcoin users/experts, I thought you would be the best people to ask. It would be great if you could take the time to answer my questions (anonymously), I promise it will take no more than 10 minutes.

Click on the following link to go to the survey - https://uvacommscience.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3lzs2sI13cKH1m5?source=bitcointalk

If you are interested, I could post my main findings here.

Thank you.

Bitcoin has been the Blockchain Technologies prodigal son. It has been the greatest creation that has happened to this present era.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: December 10, 2017, 01:04:10 PM

It can help to lessen the poverty rate in a country. But it can't solve the entire World Poverty. It is not some sorcery that will immediately change the world in just one go.

A beginner's guide to bitcoin

http://www.coindesk.com/information/

 Bitcoin is Freedom
 ---------------------

Bitcoin is Freedom from oppression, exploitation & tyranny by Banksters.

From cradle to grave we have all been financial debt slaves through the debt based fiat currency schemes that should have long ago been outlawed.

Bitcoin offers People an avenue of Safe Haven that assures a fiscally disciplined currency.

Bitcoin is vastly superior to traditional fiat currency schemes.

Bitcoin brings all Peoples Freedom by forcing Decentralized Monetary Competition, and by doing that it will eventually force governments to become fiscally disciplined with their monetary matters, or suffer monetary failures repeatedly until they do.

Bitcoin will ultimately free governments from their Bankster Masters (each countries Central Bank) when governments finally re-learn to print and issue their own debt-free currencies, while abolishing their existing Central Banks powers and controls over them. This will hopefully occur as the present system fails and governments finally realize they hold all the cards, not the Banksters.

So simply put:

 Bitcoin is Freedom
 ---------------------

Smiley

Yes! Blockchain Technology gives us freedom in all sort of ways. It is much secure and safer than what we are use to having. I can see it becoming a trend in the coming years.

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

...what other ideas come to mind?

Yes. Teaching them to learn about the advantages of cryptocurrency will enhance their skill and potentially help in the near future.

32  Economy / Speculation / Re: 'Bitcoin has gone parabolic,' and that usually doesn't end well, Art Cashin warn on: November 29, 2017, 08:48:06 AM
We have not seen the start of parabolic yet. Art can resume his 'parabolic' talk if we hit $25k this December.

Yes, if it does reach it by then. The price seems to be accelerating in an unprecedented pace. $25k by December can be easily achieve if we breach $11k mark today or tomorrow.
33  Other / Meta / Activity Reset 1 week only? on: August 31, 2017, 01:36:09 AM
I've read that it requires 14 post on a 14 day period to have a 14 activities.

According to this:
The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Why do some account do gain more activities than others? I've look at some of my friend's profile and saw this:

My friend's account was created July 24, 2017 and as of today it already has 56 activities with 60 post. While my other friends account was created on July 21, 2017 and still has 42 activities with 50 post. Is there any reason for this? I'm just a newbie wondering so I can level up my account faster. Thanks for answering!
