21  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading stressful for you? on: June 06, 2019, 01:19:05 AM
It was indeed very stressful for me when the bear market came in. I was always anxious looking at my blockfolio app and it hurts me that it just never stop falling. And another thing is my bad decision not selling when everything is on all time high and that stupidity added another factor to my stress.
22  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you secretive about trading currency? on: June 06, 2019, 01:06:00 AM
When people ask, What do you do for a living? I have a full time job, but I also trade crypto-currency.  I do not like telling them about my currency and Bitcoin activities because when I tell people about trading currency online our relationship sometimes changes. They start scheming or they think "I can do that, better than you" and I suspect they want to secretly start trading too.

Does anybody relate to this?

I am secretive about my trading but not because they will want to do it too. The response I get is different and mostly negative so I'd rather not to tell. I just tell them that I have an online job that is related to IT because whenever I start to tell them I am involved in trading crypto, we go in a heated argument because they start saying 'oh, is that a scam?' or 'that is an investment scam!'.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: June 06, 2019, 12:49:31 AM
Listen people, financial institutions are pro regulation so it's the best side to pick. There are a lot of discussions in this forum that we need financial institutions' money to pump bitcoin higher in the next bitcoin rally so if we want them to join this revolution then we shouldn't be against the regulation of cryptocurrencies.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: LA TOKEN IS A SCAM EXCHANGE BEWARE OF THEM on: June 06, 2019, 12:40:26 AM
I deposited 1246 AEN tokens on Latoken, while i copy the deposit address i saw that the minimum deposit is 150, after waiting for 3hrs and the coin didn't deposit in the wallet, i decided to ask for help in their tg group, the admin said while i was despositing the minimum deposit was increased to 1800 and after i finished they reduced minimum back to 150. I was amazed to hear this scamming statement.

You should have posted the screenshot of that conversation OP so that we will believe you. It's hard to accuse an exchange of something you don't have a strong proof. But if this is really true, it's going to destroy LAtoken's reputation and will make it hard for them to attract new users and it's disappointing because they are slowly getting recognized as the best exchanges out there.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: when are we going to see ALtcoins do 50% profit in a day. on: June 05, 2019, 05:53:41 AM
bitcoin has been on the bull run currently.it looks like the glorious days are back but how long will it last. when are we seeing the bulls on the altcoins just like it is happening on bitcoin. i believed that people make more money on altcoins than bitcoins.

It already happened on several altcoin. If you do your research, some of them gained 60%-100% in the past weeks. I think altcoins' time will arrive but not very soon so I guess we all just have to wait. And do not expect the 50% gain in your shitcoins again because pumping groups just use them and leave after and find another one.
26  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bulls Near Exhaustion, Investors Should Be Wary on: June 05, 2019, 05:43:02 AM
Investors should know how their investments in trading works. It's not only this time that they should be concerned about but should be all the time. I'm not scaring the newbies or others but I'm just saying we should always be prepared but still be hopeful that the bull market is no over and people just see the latest value the right time for sell off.
27  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as an entertainment thing on: June 05, 2019, 05:11:52 AM
There are a lot of companies calling me at least every 2 days to ask me if i am into trading and if not why not and why i don't and so on..
Is there any kind of entertainment if doing online investments or trading?
Enlighten me!

It's just the same as the people who calls you if you use this or that products. And on your question about trading if it's entertaining, it is based on your trading results. It's very stressful when you see your ports continue to lose value but if they are all doing good, you'll feel good too and think that you are the happiest/luckiest guy on earth.
28  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading is unhealthy? on: June 05, 2019, 05:01:15 AM
It only becomes unhealthy is when most of the time of your day is devoted to trading. The time where you should be eating, resting, sleeping or even socializing is now given to your unhealthy trading lifestyle. If time is well manage and discipline is applied, trading will not give you lots of problem.
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: June 04, 2019, 08:07:13 AM
I don't see it in my own perspective but I think when someone is very desperate in money or to get rich, he will certainly see that there is a success in it. I only see gambling as a game where I already accepted I'm lost before I even started playing. It's easy to accept your losses that way instead if chasing the winnings that you can achieve.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From Janitor to Millionaire on: June 04, 2019, 02:23:41 AM
Lottery will literally change your life from zero to hero but you need to be consistent on betting with your numbers no matter what.  The janitor is very blessed but I think this family especially the grandchildren are much more lucky. You know that he is in his 50's and there is only few things that he can do and only few time left on him while his grandchildren are young and there's many things they can do with those money.
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HAVE YOU EVER MET ANY SUCCESSFUL GAMBLER on: June 04, 2019, 02:02:44 AM
The gambling secrets will not been told by anyone that's why if anyone win or loss in gambling they won't say about that properly that's why I don't need any successful Gambler in my real life and it also difficult to find the successful person in the field of gambling because very few people successful in this field.
They chooses also to be unknown, there's also possible threat if they will revealed their identity, real gamblers are very discreet maybe some
can be showy but not all of them, if you will have the chance to know someone there's nothing that will change it, it's still not you to own decent
profits but still them to enjoy..

That is more logical. You'll never know who to trust after winning a lot of money that you made from gambling. The first thing you think is you can't trust no one. I have seen many news reports where people killed the winner of gambling and it's just motivated by envy and greed.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in anonymous cryptocurrencies on: June 04, 2019, 01:51:36 AM
Began to invest in inexpensive anonymous cryptocurrency: deeponion. I try to buy it while the price is quite low. But the question arises whether she will rise in price as a monero? Or maybe it is worth looking at other anonymous cryptocurrencies? Now the demand for anonymous cryptocurrency is growing, but why only for monero? I want to hear the opinion of every investor.

I would keep my distance on those anonymous crypto for good. It's okay for a short term trade but not for long term. It's very clear that the US government or the SEC and kept stating the fact that the full anonymity is what they don't approved. Those coins will just be banned in the future.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do to recover your losses? on: June 04, 2019, 01:40:03 AM
You have a long list of altcoin portfolio that have tanked down by 90% since you participated in the ICO.  What was $5000 is now worth $500.  You are at a loss of $4000 and there happen to be an upcoming token sale that is pretty hyped.

You are in desperate need to recover your losses and you plan to invest in that hyped token sale in hope that you can earn 5-10x.  Would you:

1. Pump fresh fiat out of your pocket into the token sale or
2. Trade off the the altcoins you have for BTC/ETH and invest into that hyped token sale.

Share your thoughts.

Are you talking about investing again in IEOs? And are we specifically aiming for the hyped tokens on the Binance Launchpad? Because if that is the case then I will definitely do both. I've been observing their past IEOs there and I have finally decided to invest on the next one because it is a sure win.
34  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Rich List on: May 31, 2019, 11:44:10 AM
35  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-05-28] John McAfee: Bitcoin Time Traveler Proof BTC Will Hit $1 Million on: May 31, 2019, 01:46:21 AM
I think what McAfee is trying to accomplish is to set a mindset that whatever value of btc below $1m is still a bargain. Because when you compare $1M value of btc that he wants people to  believe then he is exercising the mind of people that even btc reach $100k in 2020 , it is still relatively cheap. But again who knows, I did not even expect we could hit $8k in a couple of weeks when most of the speculations see it happening on the end of the year.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Number of STOs May Double While IEOs Will Almost Triple By Q4 2019 on: May 31, 2019, 01:22:26 AM
I'm not very sure about STOs but IEOs number of today will definitely soar much more. I don't think it will just go triple, possibly it will go 8x - 10x because of the successs hype and not to mention that btc is now fast approaching that 5 digit value again.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you dreaming to launch your own coin? on: May 31, 2019, 01:12:19 AM
Are you dreaming to launch your own coin and ICO?

How would your project look like? Which problems would be solved?
How would you call it and which abbrevation? (like Bitcoin (BTC))

Would you do a big Bounty and Airdrop to make your project famous?

I'm curious about your plans of creating a new ICO project and your own coin.  Smiley Smiley

Honestly, no but if only I have background in blockchain development or anything related then perhaps I would have interest in doing so. My project would revolve around delivery payments. Online shopping is very successful in my country so having a reliable courier service would be  a perfect opportunity for me.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacking is it possible? on: May 31, 2019, 12:58:00 AM
Sure it is. If you are familiar with the con-artist Ian Balina then he is a living proof that it is likely to happen. His mistake is that the put all his account passwords on a online service that he assumed that is going to make it safe from hackers but he was completely wrong. I advice you guys that for maximum protection, try to write your user login in a piece of paper.
39  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YOBIT exchange scamming peoples in EGOLD ICO and steal a lot of investors BTC's on: May 30, 2019, 02:29:09 AM
hu guys
like u see in the chart EGOLD ICO drop from 20 sat to 4 sat in less then 6 hours
YOBIT exchange scam a lot of peoples in their new ICO "EGOLD" peoples
bought this ICO at 10 sat and they sold it at 4 - 6 satoshi because of
yobit scam YOBIT devs steal investors real BTC for a fake coin

My first question is 'why did you invest in that trashy exchange's IEO'? Yobit has no reputation to begin with. They have so many shitcoins and I think the most thing that their exchange do is to list a set of altcoin names to add on their exchange that has no purpose at all. I'm very sorry to what happened to you OP but I guess this is what you need to wake up in reality.
40  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whats better holding many coins or fewer coins? on: May 30, 2019, 02:15:58 AM
Things have changed a lot after the 2018 dump or correction. I always  get the sentimen from crypto youtubers that they dispose their old coins and only give attention on trading new coins. But they are not letting go of altcoin that are on top 100 of cmc so they are only few. People are maybe tired of new projects and just wants to stick on the projects that has bright future and see their developments progress faster.
