22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fiat or crypto betting in bear market? on: November 25, 2018, 12:06:40 PM
When you have obtain some profit, spend on somewhere else , convert into fiat and put on another legit investment.
I can say that the red blood is not over yet , maybe the hell will be coming in Dec 2018

So my advice : only put your crypto fund that you can afford to loss and withdraw the others !
That's the right thing to do, bloody market this year 2018 as the opposite for 2017.
It's alright, nothing to be alarm because crypto will stay for good, but if you are a gambler and you are regularly doing it, it should not affect
you since afterwards you can convert your bitcoin into fiat and the price downtrend is not consistent.

True. The same I am doing. I 100% switched to fiat bookies and save my profits to buy crypto at cheap rates and just wait for the market to stabilize and go up again

In meanwhile while waiting for interested persons I will share some of my accas I place. You will notice I am a small stake player. I rather have some fun than betting big. My strategy is to build a bankroll with a small deposit.

24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Odds, units advantage | Sportsbook | +1,033 units | 87 bets on: November 25, 2018, 09:00:37 AM
Nice thread bro.

I have a question do you track those odds differences manually or do you use some kind of third party platform or service.

Me for example I use rebelbetting value betting software. They track odds differences just like you on 90+ different fiat bookies.
I already suggested to rebelbetting to implement crypto bookies as well and they took this into consideration for future.

Thx for all your opinion Guys, appreciate iT.

As most of you Guys state its Good Maybe even best to stick at fiat bookies. I am in the capability to legally register and play at fiat bookies. And i do not really care about the kyc procedure cause in spain we need kyc regulations for everything, except for taking a sh*t  Grin

As for now i Will stick to fiat betting but i save my profits to Invest in crypto.

NOTE:
You can follow my thread on valuebetting. I am testing out software to proof that using valuebetting software can and is profitable in the long run. I steongly believe that Value betting can be approached as Some safe investment betting. Of course you Will occult down swings but overal you Will make profits.

After 3-4 days by betting balance increased with 30% by using the software.

29  Economy / Gambling discussion / BTCtalk crazy accumulators!!!! on: November 24, 2018, 07:05:00 PM
Firsy of all i want to state that i just want to make a suggestion. I am not intending to take any persons money. Any reputable legendary or other high ranked reputable members can apply to become our group administrator if they are interested. Administrator is not obligated to participate himself but he can.

A lot of people here like sport betting including myself. I am running a valuebetting service but I like regular gambles as well, especially accumulators. By playing accumulators you have the potential to win a very nice return according to the amount used for the bet. I love playing accumulators, but playing accumulators with multiple people is just much more fun. You can discuss games, every punter has his own knowledge about a specific sport,.... I noticed that playing accumulators with several people and different sports can be more successful.

So that's why i want to launch this idea. My intention is to launch a fun thing where we can discuss, play and maybe make some profit.

My suggestion

-I want to use the 10 bet accumulators. By placing 10 bet accumulators with odds ranging 1.25 to 1.9 you can easily create accumulators with a 20-40 total odd which means nice profits.
I also want to keep it affordable for 'everyone'. So i would cap every bet at 0.00025BTC (+-1$) and adjust the BTC price to keep it around 1$ per bet. So this means we will generate accumulators with a bet amount of 10$ per accumulator.

-To lock a spot in the accumulator you will need to send the according amount to the administrator. You can lock multiple spots if you prefer to. So you will have to send 0.00025BTC per spot you want to lock with a maximum of lets say 2 spots per accumulator. If the accumulator doesn't get filled existing participants get the opportunity to lock additional spots.
-This accumulators are NOT PREDETERMINED. Every participant can choose his own bet per spot he locked. If he locks 2 spots the participant can post 2 bets in the 10 bet accumulator.
Every participant  decides which games get included in the accumulator.

- I would suggest to start with 1 midweek and 1 weekend accumulator, but we can add accumulators if one gets filled fast. If for example the weekend accumulator already is full on Wednesday we can open a second accumulator.

Preparation

Of course this needs some preparation in advance.

-> As i said i am only a jr member. So i understand there are people don't trusting me their money. So that's why reputable high ranked members can apply to become administrator.
          - Administrator tasks: - Collect the participants funds
                                           - Place the accumulator bet
                                           - distribute winnings to participants

-> Decide if we  play on crypto or fiat bookie. I would suggest crypto bookie. Easier to collect and distribute funds. With fiat you have multiple options to pay and would make the work harder for the administrator + we would face fees to convert funds from for example skrill/neteller or skrill/paypal,.....

->And of course decide which bookie we are going to use to place our accumulators. So Participants know which bookie he must watch to choose his bet.

How it works

- You can reserve your spot when you notice an open accumulator just by replying in this topic. You copy the last post with accumulator participants and fill in your spot and mark it in Bold
- You contact the administrator for payment details and lock your spot by paying within 24 hours after reserving your spot(s)
- After payment you send the hash-ID to the administrator. As soon as your payment is verified and confirmed administrator will confirm your spot by posting in the topic.
- 24 hours before the start of the accumulator and if the acca isn't filled the current participants will get the opportunity to take additional spots beside the maximum 2 spots.
- If the accumulator is filled the administrator will confirm the accumulator and place the accumulator bet. After posting the bet the administrator will post a screenshot of the bet in this topic.
- After all games of the accumulator are finished and if we scored a winning accumulator the administrator will pm winners of the acca to distribute funds.
- All participants have to confirm in the topic if they received their winnings.

-How to place your bet?
           - You can choose any possible bet with an odd between 1.2 and 2.00 on the chosen bookie. Games on Tuesday until Thursday for midweek and Games from Saturday until Sunday
             for weekend accumulators
           - As soon as your spot is locked just post your chosen bet in the thread and the bet will be added to our accumulator bet slip.
           - As soon as the accumulator is filled all bets are send to the administrator so he can validate the accumulator.

Rules!!!

- Midweek accumulators are open from Friday 8am CET until Monday 8pm CET.
Weekend accumulators are open from Monday 8pm CET until Friday 8pm CET

- Chosen bets for midweek have to be bets that take place on Tuesday- Wednesday or Thursday.
Chosen bets for weekend accumulators have to be bets taking place on Saturday and Sunday.

- Price per spot is set at 0.00025$ (+-$1). This price can be changed according to the price of BTC.

- A reserved spot only gets locked if the payment is done within 24 hours after reserving the spot(s). Participant has to contact the administrator for payment details. 24 hours can be   extended if the administrator doesn't respond within 24 hours. Spots have to be latest 4 hours after the deadline of participating.

- Participant must send hash id to administrator to verify his payment. Not doing this will result in loosing the bet.

- Maximum 2 spots can be reserved in the same accumulator. Additional spots can be bought 24 hours from the deadline if the accumulator spots haven't all been filled.

- Participants can choose 1 bet per spot on any sport that is supported by the chosen bookie. You can play on everything. Result, Asian handicap, over/under, corners,.....

- Winnings
     - Every spot is granted with 10% of the total winnings.
     - winnings are the amount won minus the withdrawal fee charged by the bookie if applicable.
     - Administrator will deduct transaction fee from winnings that have to be send to the winners. Administrator does not pay the fees.
     - Winnings get distributed by administrator to participants within 24 hours after the bet has been finished. Period can be extended if there is a delay from the bookie site to process
       the withdrawal.
     - All winnings are paid in BTC

- Odds for every bet have to be not less than 1,2 and not over 2.00. I think within this range we have the most chance to have successful bets. There will be special accumulators launched with odds not less than 2.00. This will be high risk accumulators and will probably contain only 5 bets.

- Administrator must post screenshots of placed accumulators latest 1 hour prior to the start of the first game of the accumulator.

- Administrator must confirm all payments in the thread when confirmed

- Participants must confirm in thread if winnings received when they are in a winning accumulator.

Additional rules can be added closer to date when we start with our first accumulator

30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fiat or crypto betting in bear market? on: November 24, 2018, 04:47:42 PM
Yeah but he is asking if he should use Bitcoin or Fiat.. He is not asking about the mood of the market and if you hold or sell.

Better to pay more attention to what you are replying, my friend, because you have zero comprehension.

Anyway, i would not bet on BTC at the moment.

Whenever crypto market goes into a state of depression I usually exit and forget about it for some time. I don't want the depression to influence my actions and my mood, so I don't check the price, don't sell any cryptocurrency and don't gamble with it. If you hold cryptocurrency bought earlier this year don't sell it and don't spend it because you'll get much less than you should.

me neither. i only bet the BTC or other crypto that i bought with my profits.
Not gambling with crypto that i bought at a higher point. I think that could be  a good approach. If it is crypto bought at this moment its worth a gamble and try to increase crypto balance. Can be double profit IF market is going up again. And if i loose those bets than i only lost the crypto i bought from fiat profits. So no big deal

32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Fiat or crypto betting in bear market? on: November 24, 2018, 12:48:58 PM
Want your opinion on this guys.

We are situated in a bear market for some time and with a huge crash happened the past 2 weeks.

Do you guys keep betting with crypto and stack your crypto profits or do you prefer to switch to fiat betting and convert fiat winnings in crypto?
Me personally I love to bet on sports, fiat as well as on crypto platforms. However during the crash I switched to betting on fiat bookies for 90% of my bets.
Profits i make at this moment with fiat bookies i use to buy crypto cause of the cheap prices. those converted profits i deposit on crypto bookies and try to make some profits in crypto as well.

Don't know you share the same strategy or rather stick to fiat and/or crypto bookie as you usually do.

35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win-win bets strategy in roulette on: November 22, 2018, 12:20:24 PM
Another one claiming to have a win-win strategy. But by this time everyone already knows that there are no win-win strategies in casino games. At the end the house always win.
Don't get me wrong you can win money with your 'strategy' if you have a winning streak and luck. But at the end you will end up loosing money.

There is no such thing as a working strategy for any casino games cause you always have the edge of the house. As simple as that.

The only ways you can be profitable from gambling is in games where you have a little bit of control like sports betting and poker. You still face the factor of luck but you are in control of how you play, which games,.…  And by using the right supportive software you can decrease the factor 'luck' a little bit more.

You may be successful but you need a much larger sample size if you want to be sure.  Your also going to need a large bankroll so you can withstand any large losing streaks.  There are opportunities out there for those that do the research and find unknown information or more favorable odds.  Don't expect your strategy to last forever because eventually others will catch on.

Got it. Only i am not afraid others will catch on with the strategy. Even if 1000s of people use the rebelbetting software it will still last. Look at arbitrage betting. It will always last no matter how many people use the strategy.

The only factor that determines the strategies will last or bookies. And as long as there are 100s of different bookies that compete against each other to offer the best odds and attract the most customers there will always be arbitrage and value betting opportunities, 100s of times every single day
40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is valuebetting profitable? on: November 21, 2018, 03:11:40 PM
^  By 'value betting' you mean looking for inefficiencies and mispricing in the market?  Yup, it's profitable but it's not as profitable as you think.  You have to go for volume and you should have a decent bankroll if you want decent profit.

And one thing it isn't is a get rich quick scheme.  You'll need a large enough sample to prove your system is really profitable.

Oh and variance is a b*tch.

I know it needs volume. At this moment I am testing the rebelbetting software. I am only testing with a 100€ bankroll and place bets from 0.5% up to max 2% of my balance by using the Kelly criterion BR management which is integrated.

I know it is not as profitable as Arbitrage betting but its easier and you can get bets much faster.

-no multiple bookies needed
- Not being afraid one of the bookies changes odds while you already placed a bet.
- Bigger bets with arbitrage so not that easy to stay below the radar longer.
-...

Also the br I know it has to be sufficient. After my testing period I probably going to add a br with a couple 1000

And yes indeed variance is a b*tch. But by handling a good br management you can fight the damn b*tch Wink
