Pundi X was covered briefly on Indonesia CNN Tech News earlier today (around midnight) on bitcoin topic I think it is legit company, but I don't understand why they can do start-up business and do ICO in Indonesia while recently central bank BI (Bank Indonesia) explicitly expressed that transactions using bitcoin are strictly prohibited the regulations have not been set in stones yet but government already shouted out warnings Did Pundi X find a way to circumvent that? also do tokens, other cryptos treated differently than bitcoin? can anyone from Pundi X team response on this matter? Hello, The regulation from BI is banned bitcoin as a currency for transaction, if we use bitcoin directly to buy things is illegaa, thats why in Pundi X you need to sell your crypto first and use the local currency to pay. I Am from Philippines and technology here is slowly in motion that the notion of many people "they are afraid to what they dont understand". In payment method I am sure that many of filipinos are now using debit and credit card for shopping, traveling and eating in restaurant. Pundi X is something that I and we filipinos can use in any leisure that we want using its POS device it can give anyone to spend my/our cryptocurrency to buy and pay. Unlike in exchange you will need to convert it first to your country's currency which have a huge fees before you can spend it. I believe that this project will make a huge impact in the crypto-world and in ASIAN country hope that you will expand it here.!

But one thing i want to ask, not every country is accepting this kind of payments scheme, this maybe one of your major problem you need to resolve. Yes, thats why we are commited to follow the regulation For example, in Indonesia we cannot accept any currency (for example USD, BTC) except IDR, so we will let our user to sell their crypto to receive IDR and use it for payment. We have the feature to use crypto directly to pay, but we will activate it in countries that allowed us to do it. WOW Thats NEAT. Now my mind is cleared about this exchange. Its like, if one country uses their currency, one must exchange their cryptocurrency in that currency, so you will be able to use it as payments. (with the use of your platform), is my understanding correct? One thing more, does it means we also pay tax because There's a transaction involved here?
