21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bminer: a fast Equihash miner for CUDA GPUs on: December 09, 2017, 04:56:50 PM
For me the miner starts and appears to be working but GPU's don't kick in... they stay cool as hell, fans even off and the miner software reports GPU0: 0.00 Sols/s  GPU1: 0.00 Sols/s..... It can stay this way for as long as i leave it like that. The miner keeps showing "Got new job..." but the pool never gets a share nor an active worker.

Rig:
12x Asus 1070 ROG Strix OC
Asrock H110 Pro BTC
Intel G4400
8GB RAM
120 SSD
2400W server PSU

OC:
Power Limit: 65
GPU Core: 95
Memory Core: 450
Target Temp: 70 (but the normally run at 56 - 62)
These settings works like a charm on dstm getting aprox. 4.24 Sols/W at a total of 5.1 KSols/s.

You are able to run 12 Nvidia cards on windows? Your system is stable?

Rock solid with EWBF, dstm can run for hours but sometimes just 10 minutes then restarts. That’s why i wanted to try bminer but looks i’m stuck with EWBF at 5K Sols/s.

Hello. I am using dstm's ZCash Cuda miner for about a month.

Some statistics from log files:

Case 1 - two 1080ti
Code:
"+" 153367 ( 96.80% )
"*"   5078 (  3.20% )

Case 2 - two 1050ti and 1070
Code:
"+" 91704 ( 96.90% )
"*"  2931 (  3.10% )

The question is why is it so?

I beleive the developer shares should be 2.00% of a "round" the miner works. It resets every time the connection is lost or the miner restarts. I think it's the only explanation to this.

I've got an issue. The following error occurs sometimes - ZM.exe has been blocked from accessing hardware. Firewall is off. Does anybody have such problem?

Yeah, me too. Even tried DDU and reinstalling drivers.

What about the Windows error, something like "Blocked access to GPU hardware to zm.exe" (Not exact words)

I beleive your GPU isn’t compatible. As stated on the first post is only fos Macwell and Pascal cards and yours is Kepler. Correct my if i’m wrong.

It would be great to have like SGminer a console where you have a fixed dynamic top that show all the summary information like on the web interface (pool, uptime, gpu's, efficiency and so on), then under this make the scrolling log. I find this interface to be the best.

What do you think ?

You can always use the telemetry server implemented. It has really nice clean interface.

Code:
--telemetry          [=ip:port]. Starts telemetry server. Telemetry data
can be accessed using a web browser(http) or by json-rpc.
If no arguments are given the server listens on
                     127.0.0.1:2222 - Example: --telemetry=0.0.0.0:2222
                     Valid port range [1025-65535]

dstm, here's my suggestion for the telemtry server i wanted to post a while ago: a way to sort columns so we can identify quicker the less efficient GPU, lowest hashrate, hottest, etc. Maybe using datatables.net plugin? I know you tried to keep it as light as possible but using datatables.net would save you a lot of time. If you want i could help, send me a private message.

on nicehash 1 gpu = 1 worker?
$rigName notworking?
Yup, same here.
Also a lot of disconnection problems with NH.

Same here, a little annoying to have multiple workers on NH stats page but not a deal breaker, it still has better performance than NH Excavator and EWBF. When i start the miner i get a lot of "Share above target" but after a few minutes it works like a charm.

Just upgraded to 0.5.6 a few minutes ago, will report back later.

I wasted 5 days of mining without getting any rewards and even lost 6K+ shares that just dissapeared. I contacted them via Facebook and email and didn't get any response, that's why I moved to flypool this morning but will definitely try this pool again in the future.
