21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: June 10, 2018, 09:30:29 PM
Whitepaper is very important because it is written over there all the details about the project. So if you are planning to invest in a certain coin/token, then might as well consider and find time reading their whitepaper.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Short term Trading investment or Bounty campaigns? on: June 10, 2018, 09:21:35 PM
Short term trading could give you lots of profit compare to bounty campaign. Bounty campaign will take you several months before you can realize your profit. So if you can do short trading while doing bounty campaign, then do it. But I do not know to trade much, so I am more on bounty campaign.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can a goverment trace you have BTC? on: June 10, 2018, 09:12:38 PM
Bitcoin is traceable thru blockchain but they cannot trace who owns it. As long as your Bitcoin wallet doesn't have links to your bank accounts or any other personal identity of you, then you are safe.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: June 10, 2018, 08:35:51 PM
That's a very disastrous story. Even I would probably be the saddest man if I will lose all my Bitcoins because of my own fault. He should probably back up multiple copies of it from the very start.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are banks and governments scared of Bitcoin? on: June 10, 2018, 07:46:55 AM
They may feel threatened but I don't think they will let fall behind. I am pretty sure that they well aware that Bitcoin is the new tech that can change finance sector, but for sure they will do ways to catch up. They won't let things fall apart just that easily. The government may be afraid of money laundering and terrorist financing, but they are not afraid to Bitcoin itself. The government and banks are just afraid of how will people use this new tech, not the tech itself.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] TrustLogics : Blockchain For Trusted And Secured Professional Data on: June 05, 2018, 11:30:33 PM
Data Security is very important today. With our private, personal, and sensitive details being stored and transmitted online, tight security is really a must. Almost every day we are hearing about data breaches and hacks. Trustlogics is the first ever platform that will use blockchain technology to store our professional data.
27  Economy / Economics / Re: Only a mature and regulated crypto market will attract big investors. on: June 03, 2018, 11:54:24 PM
Somehow. Because people are afraid to invest because crypto is not yet regulated by the government. If crypto becomes mature and the government started regulating it, then I think people will now be at ease in putting their money.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin Die because of global Regulations? on: June 03, 2018, 11:29:47 PM
I think so. If the government will totally ban Bitcoin usage and transactions, then it will definitely affect Bitcoin price and as people will pull out their money on Bitcoin. Bitcoin will lose its value.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What strategy to follow before investing in BTC? on: June 03, 2018, 11:13:26 PM
You should have first a better understanding of Bitcoin before you invest. I don't know what's the best price you should enter but I guess now is the best chance. Because Bitcoin now seems to be stable. It doesn't get lower than $7,000.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: June 03, 2018, 10:55:14 PM
Bitcoin hasn't failed yet. Bitcoin as a currency will take several years before it becomes effective. But as people and businesses are now aware of the power of blockchain, in time, we can see that our world will adopt Bitcoin and it will become the first ever crypto that becomes currency.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ❇️YAPPADAPPADOO -❇️Bringing Revolutionary Multi-Platform Apps To All Users on: June 02, 2018, 11:32:12 PM
I’ve read that this project will be using PWA. What is Progressive Web Application? and What is the advantage of using it than our traditional app today?

According to the whitepaper, PWA can work online and offline and can be fully functional. Does it mean that even if you don’t have internet access, you can use Yappadappadoo?

Most websites today are limited with internet connectivity. Without internet, the website won’t display anything. PWA is a new concept now in web app development. This concept has offline capabilities with improved speed and performance. This will allow users to have access to the pages have already visited.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are still buying Bitcoin? on: May 31, 2018, 11:01:15 PM
As cryptocurrency world becomes popular, many are now becoming a believer. Though there are still many people that don't understand the true concept of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. But then, I think people still buy Bitcoin not only because they believe in the future but because of profit and gain. Becuase some are just going with the flow. They just want a quick profit.
33  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of bitcoin rapidly going down on: May 30, 2018, 11:17:21 PM
Yes. This is just temporary. Maybe we are in accumulation stage wherein people are preparing for the bull run. The bulls are ready to buy again. But the good thing about Bitcoin's price, it is stable at $7,000 - $8,000. Unlike a few months ago, it goes down below $7,000.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid of hackers? on: May 20, 2018, 11:59:32 PM
All of us are. We all are afraid of those heartless hackers who only want to steal other people's money without considering that those digital assets are being worked hard by us. That's why, a strong anti-virus and malware blockers should be installed in all our gadgets to prevent from being attacked.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get fast rich in crypto world? on: May 20, 2018, 11:44:37 PM
I don't see crypto as a fast method that you can be rich. Big money is involved but then, it doesn't seem that it is so easy to earn here. In fact, earning here is hard especially if you don't study well enough about crypto. You can earn millions here but you can lose millions here too instantly.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty campaign - waste of time or great passive income? on: May 20, 2018, 10:42:34 PM
Sometimes, good ICO but not a good bounty. Because I have encountered one ICO that is a very successful one but they didn't pay us right. And we have nothing to do about it. But then, campaign must go on. After being scammed in bounty campaign, I don't lose hope. Because I know bounty campaign will still give me a good profit in time.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you guys pay Taxes for profit? on: May 20, 2018, 10:30:00 PM
Here in our country, we still don't pay tax for our profit because there's no law yet about that. I guess if you want to monitor your gains in every trade you make, you can create your own spreadsheet. But if your country requires you to declare all your income in crypto to get taxed. Then should see an accountant, asap.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡🚀⚡PRE-ANN: XBrick - World-class crypto currency exchange ⚡🚀⚡ on: May 20, 2018, 02:05:48 AM
I know that XBrick has its own KYC or Know Your Customer as an additional requirement in registering an account to XBrick platform. I previously don't disagree on XBRick's KYC, however the KYC will use local identification and is link to a global database based on their video right? I can't help to feel that my privacy is at risk and what if I want to remain anonymous will this mean that I will not be able to use XBrick platform at all?
I am also not disagreeing on the requirements of using XBrick exchange but there are times that I also think twice in terms of giving the personal identification because it is globally and we don’t know until when they can secure their sites.

The surge in interest to cryptocurrency makes crypto exchanges strongly in demand. Even though crypto still remain as unregulated, we know that government are paying close attention on making regulations. So in order for crypto businesses want to stay out of trouble in the future, they require investors to verify identity and source of income.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡🚀⚡PRE-ANN: XBrick - World-class crypto currency exchange ⚡🚀⚡ on: May 19, 2018, 10:00:55 PM
Do all users that will sign up for Xbrick exchange are required to undergo verification process? Will there be a minimum amount of withdrawal fund before Xbrick requires to process KYC, just like Binance? Binance allows users not to undergo verification process if the allowed withdrawal fund limits only up to 2 BTC.

Honestly, I don't want KYC process. Even though they emphasize in their whitepaper that their KYC approval will only take 5 minutes, unlike other exchanges that take 3 - 5 days to process. Xbrick should really have to offer something different if they want to compete with the major exchanges right now like Binance or Kucoin. Because these two top exchange doesn't require KYC if you are going to withdraw only a small amount.

"World-class Crypto Currency Exchange- Xbrick Exchange"
An exchange platform came from Sydney, Australia where the core members are previously senior position at various ASX listed entities.

The platform of Xbrick Exchange is quiet simple. But because of its simplicity, it can solve the real problems that the traders facing off in exchange such as security and liquidity.
I think it is the answer to our prayers, to have a better exchange in the world of crypto currency now. We all know that there are lot of exchange out there and only a few of them is we trusted, and now there are additional one whom i think that make us safe and secured after using it.

as long as we are not having this for a daily trading.
we can't be sure of the security they have.
they will have your information and some tokens on their website.
they were not attacked yet.
many big exchange has their security tighten but still got hacked.
I remember what happened in etherdelta recently. A lot of user lose their money in that exchange because the core system of ED was intercepted by the hackers. I think every Exchange has its own weakness and we should always be ready with our funds because a lot of them are not secured.
Absolutely! We cannot tell how secure an exchange has, even all of exchanges have security features. We can't tell when and how hackers destroy the system of an exchange because even the strongest algorithms can crack by genius hackers. We don't know how are funds secured in an exchange. All of them are possible in hacking, but I think Xbrick Exchange will become the safest exchange someday since the team developers of this project have already experienced in cryptocurrency.
We cannot sure if Xbrick Exchange is really safe unless it will run for atleast 5 to 10 consecutive years without any interception of hackers. I believe that there is no assurance in an exchange, and if it were so, it is just 50%. In other words, we can't hide and secure using internet.
There is no guarantee that the system is 100% safe. The advantage of XBrick compared to other systems is that they actually enumerated all the risks involved with creating an exchange platform and cryptocurrency. They identified the risks, which mean they know what they are dealing with.

"XBrick platform is designed to create a secure, reliable and efficient exchange for high quality blockchain-based assets. As an example, XBrick’s high performance trading engine is capable of processing more than 2 million orders a second." As quoted from the whitepaper.

With the high performance trading engine used by XBrike, I'm sure they are able to come up with a high level of security and firewalls to avoid hacking of their system from inside and outside the company. Security measure are sure put in place for trading engine and system similar to XBricks.

XBrick actually acknowledges the risks involve in crypto currency exchanges. As such they have actually set out the risk involved in buying XBC.
If XBrick is attacked, some of the XBC tokens or other digital tokens may be stolen. XBrick has advanced cyber security measures and uses a top-tier cloud server provider and, in addition, XBrick uses cold storage to store most of the exchange tokens. However they themselves acknowledge that this measures may not be sufficient and informs its investors the risks of making investments. Every investment has its own risk and this is just reasonable for XBrick to point out.

I totally agree with you on this. Every investment surely has its risk and reward. I am actually observing our local stock exchange for listed corporation and just last week almost all major companies made a dive in stock value per share. I am planning to buy some shares of stock so I'm still observing what will happen this week. I believe that in every chaos there is an opportunity and as they say, the higher the risk, the higher the reward is. It is good for XBrick to be transparent to its investors and I believe that many people reading this forum are aware with the risk and reward of crypto currency specially with the popularity of Bitcoin since last December 2017. I'm looking forward to XBrick's success as well.

The risk of being hacked to your trading account is really a big thing. But then, every investment has its own risk. A new trading exchange is prone to hack since it only just begun in their operation and their system will still be in its development stage. The vulnerability of its investors is at stake as hackers are going to go after exchange account.
