we will soon release new mac wallet stay tuned

Do you know roughly what timescale that'll be? I was going to move some funds to buy more but I don't want to leave money on an exchange for long periods of time. That and it would be cool to get involved in the airdrop too.  Wink

I can't seem to get the wallet to Sync?!

I searched all over the forum and found some instructions, but none of the steps work for me to add a .config file. I then searched on the Deep Onion website and found this video: https://deeponion.org/DeepOnion.conf.php

Again, it still doesn't help me.

I get stuck right from the very start, I'm using a Mac so when I search my Mac for the Deep Onion file, all I can find is DeepOnion-Qt and there are no other files?!

I'm not amazingly computer savvy, but these instructions don't seem to work for me at all. Any help would be great, I don't want to leave my newly bought onions on an exchange.

Kind regards

Did you get any sort of error with your phone? If someone is able to clone your SIM or temporarily switch your number to their own phone, they can intercept the 2FA. That's about all I can think of.

No my phone seems fine.

The only thing that I can think of possibly is that you're not automatically logged out when you close your laptop lid, and the money was removed on the same evening that I transferred out some funds.

Unless my laptop is compromised and someone just re-opened the site after I'd closed my laptop? It just seems like far too much of a coincidence?! I'm not computer expert though, I just try and be as due diligent as I can be.  Huh

Bittrex withdrawals needs Email Confirmation before anyone can withdraw their funds. That email composed of amount, time of withdrawal and IP address of the one who initiate the withdrawal. So even someone logged your Bittrex account then no way they can withdraw your funds there unless you have the same password for email and Bittrex.

Do you received any email about ? If no then no way that your balance will be vanished and we can't take away the chances that the exchange itself did some shitty activity. Mind telling the Bittrex support eventhough you can't get the answer you really need. At least they can show you the details.

I've gone back through my emails and Bittrex emails me when I sign in with a new IP address, and in my emails that's the case. But I don't need to confirm my withdrawals by email, as I made a legitimate withdraw that day too, and never got an email notification of it.

25  Economy / Exchanges / Bittrex Account Hacked?! on: January 02, 2018, 04:14:50 PM
I wonder if anyone can help me shed some light on a security breach I believe I've had and I wondered if this has happened to anyone else?

Now as far as security goes I keep most of my crypto on a hardware wallet, and don't leave much on exchanges at all. had a small amou t of Bitcoin ($800ish) on my Bittrex account and on Boxing day I sent half of that to a different exchange to buy a currency that wasn't available on Bittrex.

I logged into Bittrex the next day and the remainder of my Bitcoin had vanished. I checked the deposit history and sure enough the rest of my balance had been withdrawn.  Now I have two factor authentication set up for all my logins and so I just can't figure out what's happened here?!

This is the address that the money was sent to: 1BpAjpj1dbVv4Q56rVbjgDL7wLgUvEzkwo

When I looked it up on the blockchain the money seems to of stayed in that address until the 1st Jan, where it was then sent to another address with over $200,000 worth of Bitcoin (https://blockchain.info/address/1BpAjpj1dbVv4Q56rVbjgDL7wLgUvEzkwo)

As I said I like to think I've covered my bases with regards to security, but this has really thrown me. Luckily it wasn't a huge amount of money, but I'm nervous about putting large amounts of Bitcoin back on to that exchange in the event that it could happen again? I've since changed all of my passwords, but still, I can't figure out how someone could of got in if you need 2FA???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

For D3 Miners - Keeping it simple

1) Where can I find (and download) the wallet for DPC? I've google searched and can't find anything (other than mens leather wallets?!.

2) What are the details needed to punch in to the Antminer back end (stratum link, password, port etc) to simply point an Antminer D3 to and start mining.

Are these the correct details?

ONLY ASIC(X11) MINING RECOMENDED!

ASIC configuration:
POOL - "stratum+tcp://p2p-spb.xyz:2932"
USER - "Your_DPC_PayoutAddress"
PASSWORD - "111"

Wallet download and DigitalPrice.conf- place this config file in "C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\DigitalPrice\"

Many thanks.

27  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Setting up an S9 using a Mac - Anyone managed it? on: October 15, 2017, 08:23:22 PM
You could just easily go to your router web configuration page and see the ip address in the local area network ip list.

Thank you, that helped and all set up and running.  Smiley
28  Bitcoin / Hardware / Setting up an S9 using a Mac - Anyone managed it? on: October 15, 2017, 07:36:04 PM
As the title says really.

I'm trying to set up an Antminer S9 and have a mac, which isn't compatible with the Bitmain downloads, so I can't figure out what the IP address of the miner is.

Has anyone else managed to get set up with a mac?

29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Need a reliable seller of antminer L3+ on: September 27, 2017, 06:09:56 PM
Hi
I have tried to put an order for antminer L3+ on bitmain website a lot of times, whenever it gets released, but my order doesn't go through.
Is there any other reliable seller anyone knows?

I have 17 L3+ in an account basket on Bitmain that quite frankly you can have for whatever reasonable donation you think that's worth.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / 1-17 L3+ miners, all for 0.095 Btc on: September 25, 2017, 11:14:50 PM
For anyone who missed out on the L3's+ miner sale earlier, have a read of this.

1-17 Antminer L3+'s Account, all for 0.095 BTC

That's up to 17 Antminer L3+ miners, the whole lot for 0.095 of a Bitcoin, not each miner, but 0.095 BTC for the whole lot (obviously you need to pay Bitmain for the machines on top of that finders fee).

I will send you all the details for the account, which you then take over to finish the purchase of the miners.

I have an account with several orders for Antminer L3+'s reserved with 7 days to make a cash bank transfer. All orders are currently valid and unpaid, due to be delivered to the UK in November.

I'm selling this account for considerably less than most do because I'm not trying to make huge profits for not a lot of work, but instead I have a very small fee for taking the time to get this basket set up, advertised and the time it'll take to sort the sale out and swap over the details/ help with any issues you may have.

I'm also offering this account for far less than most because I'd also like to build my reputation for helping others get hold of mining equipment when they may have missed out in the rush, and would love public feedback on the transaction experience.

For 0.095 Bitcoin you can own an account where you can choose to keep 1, 6, 10, 16 or all 17 Antminer L3+'s. If you then choose to sell the account on for more, that's obviously your prerogative, or you can secure lots of miners for what is a very small finders fee, again it's the best option available for anyone who's missed out on this November batch.

Nicehash seems to be the best option for the L3's+ as far as mining pool options go, and currently produce over £500 a month per miner, as reported today on their mining calculator page here: https://www.nicehash.com/profitability-calculator/bitmain-antminer-l3?e=0.2&currency=GBP

Please fire any questions away, and I'll be more than happy to help. This is first come, first serve and at 0.095 BTC I don't expect the account will be available for very long at all.

Best wishes

32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you trust bitcoin over banks and love bitcoins, more and more? on: September 23, 2017, 06:57:49 AM
I like the idea of being able to fly away on holiday and have a million pound (worth of crypto) in my pocket, no questions asked!

Although I still have to figure out how to get a million pounds worth of anything 😂

Nice thought though.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The value of the D3 vs L3+ why is the L3 more expensive?? on: September 18, 2017, 10:01:06 PM
The return on the L3+ is probably going to be higher since Scrypt has a TON MORE HASHRATE ALREADY (as measured in L3+ units) than X11 does (as measured in D3 units) and therefore any L3+ is going to have a lot less effect on profitability.

I anticipate that the return on an L3+ by the time the last batch ships in November will be quite a bit higher than the last batch of D3 (which was released at the SAME TIME and has not yet sold out) will be by that point.

Based on the best estimates I've seen of D3 sales, the number of D3 units sold already are ON THEIR OWN going to multiply X11 hashrate by a factor of over 10 times what is was before they started selling - the L3+ has been selling for several months and some batches have already BEEN delivered and are in use, so that the current "sold but not yet delivered" batches aren't even going to DOUBLE Scrypt hashrate in that timeframe.

Then there are the gorillas in the room - the L3+ is the most efficient scrypt miner right now, and even the best of the "new announcements" is going to only BARELY be more efficient.

The D3 is not even the most efficient CURRENTLY SHIPPING unit, and if the A5 meets it's published specs the D3 is going to end up as the *4th most efficient" unit - and it's not even CLOSE to the 2 most efficient announced units.

Thanks for taking the time to help me with that. 👌😊
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Prohashing mining pool results for L3 and D3 on: September 18, 2017, 09:53:54 PM
Hello guys.

Please don't flame me too hard if this has already been posted, but each time I try using the search function, I keep getting told not to 'search too quickly' and as such can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

I've recently got hold of a few miners, S9's, L3+'s and several D3's turning up in November. Now as far as my L3+'s and D3's go, I've heard several people mention a site called prohashing.com is a great option as it has a smart algorithm which switches your miner frequently to the most profitable coin, be it Scrypt or X11 (depending on which miner you're using).

I just wanted to get a handle on if anyone has any experiences with this site and how it's worked out in terms of coins earned after the 5% pool feel, compared to the more 'standard' mining pools for these miners.

Kind regards

Hello Broker

the results are up and down on some day its good and some day bad, just like all other mining pools.

So would setting up say pro hashing as your main pool and say Nicehash as your back up seem like an optimal way to go to balance out their down times?
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Converting into hard cash on: September 18, 2017, 11:09:23 AM
I'm not sure about the US but in the UK we have ATM machines that you can exchange Bitcoins for cash right there and then.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / The value of the D3 vs L3+ why is the L3 more expensive?? on: September 18, 2017, 10:39:16 AM
I have S9 miners, two L3+ miners and several D3 miners from
Bitmain and I don't know if I'm missing something here, but I can't wrap my head around why the L3+ is their most expensive miner??

I'm fairly new to the forums so please don't shoot me down too hard if this has been covered already, I couldn't find an answer in the search box.

Are you selling this entire order for 2k?

It looks like it, yes. Then you'll still have to pay for the miners after you buy the account.

Hey there. I agree with you and I am in the same boat. There are a lot of good people here, I am sure some of them won't mind helping with your answer. I have searched online as well and there is no one with real world results (recent) all speculation or old responses.

Hope you get some answers! Happy Block Finding!

Thank you, yes me too, it seems hard to find answers to this, but I have several more D3 miners heading to me now so just want to make sure that I'm getting the most out of them 👌

I'm also interested in how you will escrow the money.

How about using Open Bizzare?
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Advice needed on selling my Girlfriends Bitmain account for her with 5 x L3+ on: September 14, 2017, 09:17:41 PM
Hello there.

My girlfriend and I are buying miners to grow our small farm, gradually. When Bitmain put out the last batch of L3+'s (a few weeks back now) we both were up at 4am trying to get five in our baskets. It was a real nightmare to get through to the final stage and both of us had several windows open on our laptops as we tried.

Long story short, we both managed to get five each, although we only wanted five (that's all we had the money for) but both went through to the final stages of checkout, you know, better safe than sorry, to make sure we really managed to get some as it's become insanely hard now.

Anyway my GF had five miners in her basket that we had a week to pay for, but let expire, as we paid for the ones in my account basket instead. After keeping up with various forums, Twitter accounts and FB pages, I've seen some people offering to sell accounts with several miners in the baskets for like $50 per miner.

A few questions.

1) Has anyone actually done this who's been in a similar situation to us in the past.

2) If you have, how did you actually do the deal if you were not face to face, did you use some kind of escrow service?

Kind regards
