Im confused can someone clarify for me please? can you buy Lightning Network LND or is it just a trading platform where you can trade multiple coins like litecoin to btc? Im confused researching this. if you can only use it as a platform how can one benefit financially besides lower fees/ faster trades? I get that part. can you somehow bet on it Lightning network? or since its lightning network LTC is their coin so invest in it if you want to bet on it working? Any direction is greatly appreciated.

Well, it was a pump only I guess. I should have sold it at $21 regretting my decision. Hope that time will come again im no expert but the entire mkt is volatile. trust your gut,k ride it out for long term if that's your goal, and deal with the ups and down because they will occur for a while. Most importantly never spend more than you can afford to lose. This is essentially a safer version of gambling in my book but there are still plenty of risk in the field. justg my 2 cents

or am i misunderstanding this and its not like free money or stocks?
Yes, you're misunderstanding this. Forks don't have to have any value - they have value because people perceive them to. There are people who believe that SegWit2x is relevant and that the 2MB hard fork is required, and those people will be buying the coins that other people sell. Also, because so many other people have this strange misconception, the price increases quite dramatically soon before the fork as people anticipate it happening. They see the fact that there is a fork but they don't see what the fork actually is. So you wouldn't be getting any advantage by trying to follow along with all of those people. Also, you seem to be talking about trading in order to gain this money, which is something that you could be doing at pretty much any time, not just when BTC is experiencing a major event. I found this on Bitcoin Cash: I If I own Bitcoin, do I automatically own Bitcoin Cash too? Anyone who held Bitcoin at the time Bitcoin Cash was created became owners of Bitcoin Cash. This means that Bitcoin holders as of block 478558 (August 1st, 2017 about 13:16 UTC) have the same amount of Bitcoin Cash as they had Bitcoin at that time. If your Bitcoins are stored by a third party such as an exchange, then you must inquire with them about your Bitcoin Cash. Any transactions after the August 1st ledger split are completely separate between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. This means any Bitcoin acquired after the split does not include any Bitcoin Cash, and any Bitcoin Cash does not include any Bitcoin.came across this when researching BTC Cash. It seems identical to what i posted above only they are valuing the I dont understand how the post i found on BTC Cash fork is any different thaan what im asking about? BTC Cash is grwoing in value daily or is $564 going to crash into nothing?

I just received this email. We wanted to remind you that the upcoming Bitcoin Segwit2x fork is projected to take place on November 16 and will result in 2 bitcoin blockchains. In our effort to make Coinbase the most trusted, safe, and easy-to-use digital currency exchange, we are working to ensure we maximize your benefit from this event. So, following the fork: Any user storing Bitcoin on Coinbase at the time of the fork will be credited with an equal amount of the new Bitcoin2x asset on the Bitcoin2x blockchain. No action is required - we will automatically credit your account. If you have 5 Bitcoin stored on Coinbase before the fork, you will have 5 Bitcoin and 5 Bitcoin2x following the event.
Coinbase users will be able to trade both Bitcoin and Bitcoin2x shortly after the fork.
Coinbase will disable buys, sells, sends and receives for Bitcoin and Bitcoin2x approximately 24 hours before the fork. We will re-enable them following the fork once its safe to do so. For a detailed timeline of events surrounding the fork please see our blog post and FAQ. Thank you, Coinbase Team
Would it be smart to trade in the 3-4 k in eth for BTC so when it forks i have more of both bitcoin and bitcoin2x? or am i misunderstanding this and its not like free money or stocks?
Thanks

Keep in mind that in one point in time ETH was VERY CLOSE to killing BTC at one point. People called it "The Flippening" and ETH was very very close to dethroning BTC.
Will it happen? I don't think so.
Ever? No.
Bitcoin is the number one undisputed champion GOD lord savior legendary eternal king master overlord of ALL COINS PERIOD.
I bet if you contact BTC and show them all the posts you make with pretend BTC balls in your mouth someone there might give you an internship to fan their balls from under their mining stations. Sometimes you gotta start at the ground level when working for the "champion God Lord Savior" heavenly crypto kingdom.

I was doing alot of research on here on crowdholding.com and was wondering if you all think this has the potential to do something? I read through it and find it pretty interesting. Then i looked at the team involved and well that just speaks for itself. Anyones thoughts on getting involved with this one?
Also, I just started reading on bitcoincash.org. i was not familiar with it until now. Would you invest in this one? it seems like a much more scalable version of BTC meaning there are more options for it to grow or maybe surpass the original BTC with its additional options? I was wondering if anyone familiar with it would be willing to chime in?
Thanks

Yeah Litecoin is Litecoin, but it's not fucking Bitcoin now is it?
I don't think it will matter how powerful Litecoin becomes, it will never dethrone the king.
Bitcoin is the number one undisputed champion GOD lord savior legendary eternal king master overlord of ALL COINS PERIOD.
Thinking like this is exactly how you get beat in business. The moment you think your king, untouchable, or whatever other God like references you made to BTC someone will come along with a bigger and better version. Complacency is not king. You can bet my right nut there is some under the radar geniuses being backed by the 1% to create something better and we all know it has room for improvement. BTC is the first great...there will be many more to come over the years. Shit a few years ago they were calling this a fad and now there's what over two hundred cryptos, some of them doing huge things to the financial industry. I wonder if the professor who made this statement at a major university still thinks the all mighty dollar is the legendary eternal master overlord blah blah blah of currency now? Whos hungrier? the man clawing tooth and nail to get to the top of the mountain or the man sitting on top checking out his views oblivious to the hundreds of hungry coming up the other side? In business you either need to be the first or the best. BTC was the first now watch what people take and do with the original principal created. Im excited to see the next couple years.

of course you forgot Qchain. The project has great prospects. Just pay attention to its volume, the idea team. One fact that investors have the opportunity to invest on the basis of the ETHER and on the basis of the NEM, says about the uniqueness of Qchain. The ICO has already begun, there is a chance to buy tokens with a 15% bonus, I'd hurry, as it will last only 24 hours! I totally agree with you. I contributed to Qchain on pre-sale stage which already has alpha version. Where do you find out where the next up an coming ICO that looks promising will be or when its offered? Im curious if everyone just scours the internet all day or if there is a legit place to read more on whats coming for the future?

Every time i feel Im gaining ground to understand this complex ever morphing system I get completely lost looking into something new.
On Bitterex there are tons of markets once you log in. What I dont get are what they are I guess? For ex: What is BTC-BCC or BTC-GNC? I see some of these sometimes that are up over 125% for the day. I guess im lost. shoudl i just keep it simple and keep investing amounts in the ones i know like BTC/ ETH or should i put more time into some of these other ones.
Ps for ETH having such raving reviews and plans for the future it sure hasnt done much. i wish i would have stuck ity in BTC this past mo.
Does everyone still have faith it will do something in the future? Just curious i realize its only been a month or two.
Thank you

Sorry if this is stupid i just need to ask it to have a calm mind.
I'm storing my Etherum and Bitcoin on Blockchain. I'm storing my Litecoin and Ripple on the Bittrex trading platform. I'm buying through Coinbase and then transferring it to the mentioned wallets. I realize nothing is foolproof or 100% safe however this is what i have come up with through researching options. Input is greatly appreciated if this is a safe method.

Bittrex is my first choice. It is the largest crypto exchanger with lots of crypto choices. Verification is fast and easy plus it allows you to withdraw as high as 1337 btc in one day alone. I haven't heard much people complaining Bittrex compared to other top exchanges like Poloniex.
can i actually buy btc or etherum on that site or do i need to but it on somewhere like coinbse for ex then transfer it there? I did not see the answer on their site as far as funding your bitterx acnt. Thank you very much! damn I just signed up to check out Cex.io but im definitely not using them. they charge 7% fees.

I noticed on bitterx they said if you use a card it routes you through coindesk which will obviously take me back to my problem of $500/wk. However, if you do a bankwire there is no mention of it. Since it is now saying i have no acnt there under that email yet i checked the email and have acnt activation conformation i contacted support for help and to ask what the max daily wire allowed is? i will post up once i hear.

Does anyone know if you can transfer from ether of these sites into blockchain for Ether/BTC for holding your currency? I have been searching high and low for the answer.
I've never had a problem with Bittrex, they're a good solid choice for currency exchange. And yes, any exchange will allow you to send money blockchain>exchange or vice versa. Is that your question? All exchanges have the necessary wallets for the currencies they offer, you have to make a new address for yourself in your account so they know where the money should go. yes you did. not i just keep running into this $500/ wk purchase rule unless i want to pay for it on localBTC
