I got my hands on some sapphire rx470 mining cards and was wondering if anyone can tell me why smos wont / cant undervolt them.
I try them in windows and with sapphire trixx i am able to drop the voltage from 120 down to 100 but in smos no matter what value i
enter makes no difference on the power draw.
these are modded cards that do about 27 and 77 on duel mining.
currently 4 cards with 4 risers + mobo is pulling about 840watts from the wall.
oh and i am using the latest image from smos website for the os.
latest bios? what PSU?
try to change all 3 values: core, memory and power at the same time (from 1 to 2 would be enough) and see if it helps
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: January 07, 2018, 03:43:50 PM
Is ZCL pool going to become BTCP pool after hard fork?
And If we have ZCL in our MPH wallet do we get BTCP after hard fork?

I also asked myself this question, and I think so, but there is also this case of BTCP fork of BTC. Because BTCP is a Bitcoin fork and a Zclassic Fork.

Last time, MPH paid in BTG, but I think it would be more productive to put them on platforms that will accept the fork. however, it seems that Btrex has not added anything for months and many others are overwhelmed by the magnitude of global demand growth.
Cryptopia can be and one or two other altcoins tradding specialist, but the BTCP page does not seem to indicate much to this porpos and their Wallet BTCP is planned for in a few hours.

Patience and Frastrations

I plan to just move my ZClassic out of MPH when the new Zclassic wallet comes out on the 8th.  That way, I don't have to rely on MPH doing anything for me at all.
this!
And I'd recommend this for everybody, for every fork! Don't be lazy and rely on others

What do u think the avg btc payout per day should be with 6 1070ti, and 6 rx580's ? It's been running 24 hours now and all I have gotten back is .002 btc.
let it run at least another 24h hours, auto exchange process' take 6h+
see the amount/day in the bitcoin dashboard and not in the balance

Just have some patience guys, i'm sure he's working on it 24/7 and will update us here soon. (He updated the header of the MPH site quite often the last 2 days to keep us updated btw)
He can't do anything now if bittrex is broken.
He might look to add another exchanges though in case something similar happens in the future, as until now everything worked fine so there was never a need for more exchanges
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BTCP] BitcoinPrivate: A Truly Private Bitcoin [Equihash] on: January 04, 2018, 03:39:29 PM
The github for bitcoin private which you get directed to from bitcoinprivate.org or bitcoinprivate.com says "Harfork is planned to happen on block 550000" given we are at block 502543 (at the time of writing) and we have 10 minute blocks that is 329 days.  I assume this is a typo if it is to happen this January as block 505000 will make it about 17 days ... much sooner!!!
probably fakeshit to spread some FUD by https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=560673 who bought the domains to get a big payday, but in the end nobody wanted them

this is the correct github https://github.com/BTCPrivate/BitcoinPrivate

I'm back for more FUD. How's everyone enjoying their losses?! I called it. These devs are out for a quick BIG buck. Rhet will end up in prison after the class actions start to roll in.... Complete scam.
are you still mad nobody wants your domains?  Cry

I see that this last change with temps averaging was in deed some bad idea.
I think that i will revert this change to previous. I had many requests from You guys that it wasnt smart move at all... Smiley

guess it would be fine for a mobile version, but in this case the more information we see on a page the better  Smiley

i'd also like to scroll a bit in the console popup (at least 2-3 pages back) if possible  Grin
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: November 24, 2017, 10:31:12 AM
How does the pool calculate the current profit per coin?
How often does it change?
Why does it fluctuate so much, even if the coin's price is relatively stable?
price is just one thing, difficulty matters too!
so basically everytime difficulty:price ratio changes a coin is more/less profitable than another..
i think it does change in realtime but how often does the miner adjusts? i dont know but im sure mister MPH will give you an answer  Wink

I have exactly the same problem ccminer shows 17.67 mh/s but on the website 11.43. what you need to do to solve this?
do you guys know how a pool works?
variance in your effective hashrate is caused by the pool calculating your rate based on the number of shares you submit in a given period
If you're lucky you'll submit an above average number of shares and the pool will show your effective rate as being higher than usual. so if you're unlucky and submit fewer shares in a period then your effective hashrate will drop below the hashrate that you're actually mining at
over short periods of time this can result in large variations
If you look at your average hashrate over a longer period (=you mine constantly during that time) then it should be close to your actual rate.

"- Increased bitcoin withdrawal fee due to network overload"
add to Manage Wallet bitcoin Transfer to altcoin

It's currently not supprted because of low demand on transferring bitcoin.
Also bitcoin withdrawal decreased like before because network became calm and stable.

fees are still very high in my opinion, transactions getting confirmed at the moment for 90% less..

Thank you so much for the help. I will try your suggestions. Last thing, if i will autoconvert my zcash to litecoin, can i send it from Mining Pool Hub to my bitcoin address? Thank you so much.

Be carefull, you can not send any other coins to bitcoin address than bitcoin! For litecoin you will need a litecoin address
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: November 13, 2017, 05:17:49 PM
Hi mining pool hub.

Recently i mined zcash but i cannot cash out. An error says "Failed to update your account: Invalid coin address". I do input the bitcoin address from my account in coins.ph account. I already enabled the OTP. Where did i go wrong? Please help and thank you so much.

1. im sure you can not cash out to a bitcoin address

B250 mining expert mobo refuse to to boot from SMOS USB drive (the same drive boot on other machines). Anyone with such experience with this board ?
I have the same issue. Works on all my other mobos but not my ASUS B250 Mining Expert. No idea how to fix it.

Hello, did you could fix it?
man, as i told you already, this is not a smos problem! Go into bios boot settings, you have to change the settings for usb! google it, several written guides and videos about this

but if we autoexchange to something else than bitcoin

who much fees exactly we pay

fee on sending to exchange, then it s sold in btc i guess, than buy the other coins and withdraw
and so it happen with each small transaction?

looks like we lose a lot in fees
1. did you read the (some pages at least) thread?
2. yes its not so transparent BUT
3. service costs money! you could do it yourself, it will cost you more fees if you dont have high trading volume
4. from auto exchange site: "Additional 0.2% Fee is applied. (Txfee for sending from Mining Pool Hub to exchange site is included in this fee)"
5. read the thread, some information was already posted

how many NVIDIA GTX 1080 TI can this OS run? with Asus Mining Expert 19 GPU slots motherboard.
 Roll Eyes

If I recall correctly from Tytannick... smOS GPU limit is 15 x GPUs
"B250 Mining Expert currently supports a total of up to eight NVIDIA and AMD GPUs. An unlimited number of GPUs will be supported following a driver update that is planned for Q4 2017."
