21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good to penalize airdrop hunters? on: January 09, 2022, 07:46:03 PM
It's still work right. You have to spent some time to get the airdrop. And you only get something really small. I think it's a brilliant way to growth the community.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH OR BSC on: January 09, 2022, 07:42:46 PM
I hope Ethereum is able to fix gas prices quickly. Because currently the whole network is almost not usable. It's decentralized and all that but at which cost...

What you guys think about ethereum clone PulseChain?
Still no record yet here - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pulsechain/... is this already traded?

All I can say is that anything that is clone will not succeed, especially if it's a clone of a successful coin like Ethereum.
I will give you an example, bitcoin has forks, look where BCH and BSV are now.

Yes, but BSC is kind-of succeeding.

Does anybody know if decentralized exchanges exist for XMR ?
Maybe this is what you are looking for https://cointelegraph.com/news/siennaswap-adds-bitcoin-monero-trading-pairs-in-push-for-privacy-focused-defi

that's sienna swap. that's a dex for the native coins and some native coins being added to the sienna swap. You can take a look at this dex and i thought that this is the best answer for your question. Bitcoin was also available there.

Thanks!

Do you have any funds? I have a working prototype... But the costs to market are huge!!!

This is a Ethereum fork or written from scratch?
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much of new crypto projects? on: January 05, 2022, 04:20:18 PM
I know how to choose good projects out of the crappy ones but still it worries me that anyone can just create their own projects through those new smart contract platforms, the more crypto is getting more popular the more the numbers of shitcoins and scam coins will keep increasing, it's indeed worrisome

And what do you focus on to find the best ones?
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most private cryptocurrency on: January 05, 2022, 04:02:48 PM
It seems all the big Exchanges are still listing XMR. So it seems it's the best coin for this task.

Does anybody know if decentralized exchanges exist for XMR ?

ETH seems to be the best investment of 202x. In my mind, it has the potential to claim the numbe one spot on CMC.

Are you sure PoM can't be exploited with better hardware.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin scalability problem solve now? on: January 01, 2022, 01:02:47 PM

Ok, but when will bitcoin be "scalable". It all depends on how we define its purpose. It will never be as scalable to outperform visa to serve as everyday payment solution for whole word (7.7B people). But if we are talking about bitcoin as "digital gold" "plan B" product ... 7tx/s may already be scalable enough at least for now (empty Mempool for last 6 months proves that). Because we need high decentralized, high secured chain for storing coins on coldwallets and to transfer them once per ... 1 moth - 10years ... depends how good hodler you are. We can use off-bitcoin-chain solutions (WBTC) for everything else. And it already started. As I pointed before. BEP-20 BTC is already offloading somewhere around 30k TX daily which is 5-10% of all transactions of bitcoin chain. Its aint much if you want btc to be as scalable as Visa, but it is enough to help BTC be <1$tx "digital gold" chain for a little bit longer.

And I agree that WBTC and other solutions that uses other, less secured, more centralized chains/products is the worse place to hodl your bitcoins, but they are perfect in some situation (one mentioned by me earlier - transfer bitcoins between exchanges) what offload traffic on main BTC chain which is ment to be used for much more serious stuff.

More then 7 tx/s would definitely be nice. But problem is going even to 500 would probably need a complete redesign. But without a redesign new chains will technologically  get better and better and the gap will widden. Not sure how long will the gold narrative last....
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FLINK]Fast and Feeless Payment Network on: December 31, 2021, 03:26:57 PM
In crypto world no payment is reversible that means once a transaction held it’s a forever thing.
But our tradition payment system allow the transaction revers system or holding option for some
time. DO you have  that facility?
No. Hard to do as it would allow double spent... It's only possible if government would run it...

do you have any minimal amount for a payment? Like any minimal level that have to fulfill for the transaction and
if that amount isn’t fulfill then no transaction will occur.
Currently not. Might be added for SPAM/DDOS prevention.

saw that you have a thing like payment reference number, is it revealing the payers name or any information
or it is anonymous?
No usually just a number. It's for accounting puropeses. So you now what was payed.

It is more likely to use for anyone if you are contracted to many brands. Do you have any brand that are collaborating with
you. And people can make their payment using flink?

We have agreement with payment providers and exchanges.

The major problem to any payment system is the fee. It’s really a great reason for the disappointment.
In that situation feeless would be really attractive to the people. But do you offer the feeless for all time
or it’s just some promotional thing?
The protocol is designed to be without fees. Adding fees later would be very hard...

As we see on crypto the coins price are changing all the time based on some reasons as demand and supply. Do flinkcoin have something like that or it value is always stable?

We support custom tokens. So somebody could create a stable coin on it...

Security should be the same. Its more the implementation and consensus algorithm...

what is the most attractive spot for hackers, we all know it. Monetary system is the main target for them.
Do you ensure the security of it?
Probably DDOS. As there are no fees. But several measures are in place...

AS we see that all the payment system come recently, there are using blockchain. So why are you not using the blockchain technology
rather you go for a different one?

Well PoW or PoS don't work for low latency applications. Even Solana has cca. 12 s final transaction finality. If you want under 2s finality you need something else.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Need list of free ico listing sites for my project on: December 27, 2021, 11:48:54 PM
Hi guys i need to list our project on ico listing sites which are free. If any one can send me complete list of ico listing sites or where i can free advertise our project https://consistencylabs.io/ Kindly suggest.

Only CMC, CoinGecko and ICO Drops have large traffic. Others are probably useless... But it's hard to get in...

Just thinking, aren't all non PoW consensus algorithms eco-friendly?

What's Flink?
Flink is an open source, global payment network with custom tokens that's extremely fast and completely feeless. It uses the block lattice DAG structure for high transaction throughput and low latency.

What makes Flink unique?

Flink isn't a standard blockchain. It's a DAG, which is optimized for feeless and fast operation. It was designed and written from the ground up to provide the best possible L1 framework for payments, custom tokens, and in the future, NFTs.

Features:
- Block-lattice DAG
- dPoV (delegated proof of vote) consensus algorithm
- Parallel sync chain
- Predefined smart contracts
- Voting packet-based distribution
- Multisig
- Payment reservation
- No fees
- Exchangeable encryption framework
- Payment reference number
- On-chain payment requests
- Time limited transactions (now or never)
- DDOS protection

Coin:
- 1-2 transaction finality (no forks)
- 1000+ tps
- 900M pre-mined
- 20% reserved for node availability rewards
- Airdrop and ICO distributed
