good luck buying this coin for cheap at this moment  every miner who mined this since the beginning will tell you how little coin there was spread out. First of all difficulty is adjusted every block, within 30 minutes from the start the difficulty on this coin was at 6 (at this point people who were pissed off that they cannot instamine said the coin was flawed so called problem with difficulty retargetting), second of all the pools were not configured correctly which resulted with decreased payouts for the pool miners (most pools were patched on day 2 and some on day 3) whoever solo mined at that point is a winner in this race. This is the reason why miners set such high prices on this coin. IMO just like with some other similar coins there is no rush to the exchange, let the community develop around earthcoin then lets move on to the exchanges. It will be nice one to watch  This is the most interesting coin to mine from a miner standpoint. Throwing some hashes towards earthcoin for now  and will definitely buy some if anyone is willing to sell, any amount, msg me offers I refused some offers yesterday because they seemed too high, today's sell offers are triple of what some miners asked last night |

Yeah, diff on earthcoin changes every block, this caused the diff to raise dramatically right after the start, miners who could not instamine the coin got pissed and called it a problem with difficulty retargetting lol, imo this had a fair start, let's see what happenes next

Fair launch since it was pre-announced, premine is ok I received 20k EAC in the giveaway, together with another 14+ pages of users... difficulty re-targets every block which made it pretty hard to instamine it right after the start, idea behind changing payouts year round is also interesting, if the community grows around this coin it will succeed. (reminds me of the first days of WDC, and look at it now 50 cents per WDC)

WDC. A coin has to have more going for it than just profitability and mining. I see a lot of work going on with development and promotion of WDC and building a fan base around it. My perception at least is that it is well thought out with the focus on becoming more that just something to mine and dump for BTC. My belief is it has legs.
I mean think about why a coin like LTC has the value it has? What can the average Joe do with it? It only has the value is has because we say it does. Crypto buyers and sellers all speculating. I don't see any real use for it beyond the small cryptocurrency world we all live in. The average person doesn't even know what cryptocurrency is let alone can he buy a tank of gas with it. Hell, BTC is somewhat that way as well other than you are seeing it get some recognition in the real world and a few places are beginning to accept it as a form of payment. What the hell makes it worth $120? Just cause we say. The market.
Mainstream is the key to winning the crypto wars. The first crypto who can figure out how to get Suzy Homemaker carrying around a crypto debit card is the winner, no matter what. At least in my mind I see WDC as understanding that distinction. It may not mean anything and I may be all wet but that's why I'm going hard on the WDC.
+1 Im throwing some hashes at WDC ATM, I do see potential in that coin; so far it was very stable when it came to mining profitability, also the price after the initial dump seems stable and actually rising a liltle bit recently. The network hash rate is pretty stable too that means there's already a base of miners who will keep the network going and in connection with difficulty retarget the coin will always have fast transaction speeds. The developers work on improvements on the coin and there were announcements about an improved wallet coming out in a few days. There is also a strong community forming around WDC and IMO this coin could be the winner in alt crypto race, time will show. For me personally I would rather have fast confirms in a matter of seconds than wait for them for a long time like it is with other cryptos. I would rather pay with this coin for all of my online transactions than use BTC or CC. This coin opens new doors for a crypto coin the doors to day to day fast usage. WDC FTW!!! |

No I didn't get anything for it either, hitting the bed now, we'll see what we got in 6 hours, looking forward to see lots of blocks hit when I wake up ;]

I started mining that block alone with coinbrah around 6 hours ago then disconnected for 2 hours and then back for 2 more hours of hashing i received 8.5 WDC for it, looks like we just solved another one, lets see what the payout will be

I had the same issue with WDC I used one of the stratum pools with lots of hash power and got around 30% stales, same with p2pool, I then joined a pool with a server close to my geographic location and stales are below 1% also i'm getting more coins (with difficulty taken into account) in addition, make sure you lower the intensity on your cards, I 18 seems to work great for my 7950's as well as 6950's,
