21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why invest in altcoin? on: April 20, 2018, 07:43:29 AM
Because there are so many promisingly Coins right now which really want to establish something and try to achieve one great thing. I've heard a lot in recent times about Lympo. They want go give company shares to token holders and building up a health app with a promising reward system. Sounds really good to me, because they go a real use-case and trying to build up an ecosystem, what it's all about in crypto. Furthermore they got tennis superstar Caroline Wozniacki as ambassador and will promote Lympo to her fans, followers and the wider sports community, explaining the app benefits. I really like the whole project, so there are a lot of facts to invest in altcoins, especially in this one.

To get on to all of this it's really important for projects to get every aspects clear and lucent/transparent. Building up an ecosystem where you can improve your Apps, dApps and systems is momentous and it is in any case an important factor to continue to exist. Therefore to mention this really good one - Lympo - is just trying to achieve it. The Lympo app will motivate people for staying active and being healthy. They reward the users with challenges and healthy lifestyles. So it will connect a lot of users and trainers all around the world building u a huge network of partners. Furthermore Tennis superstar Caroline Wozniacki, who won the Australian Open this year, will promote Lympo to her fans, followers and the wider sports community, explaining the app benefits. So the progress of this project is tremendous and it never cease to amaze me.

I think it will cover a huge range of different sports.. Let's see. But they got definitely some work ahead, to get on to this whole data aspect. It should be clear and clarified how the data will be used and backed as well as the security aspect. Furthermore I think the government will also want to have a say in this..
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto thoughts on recent news? on: April 19, 2018, 12:50:16 PM
All I can say is that the blockchain technology will be worldwide adopted, example (Facebook) promised already to research it and many other giant services out there.
Crypto currency is our future currency, it is just a matter of time.

I think that this will have a huge impact as well, they can advertise maybe some own product very easily on Facebook and could drive the whole story forward. It definitely will be the future!

There are news that really reassure you that you need to continue investing, but not so many. I think that the market will stabilize.

The market is stabelizing right now, some "experts" are saying that you have to get on right now. But I can say that we can see a lot of green numbers and graphs as well the next time. It's a healthy and steady rising right now.

The beginning of this year was very difficult for all of us. I hope with the fact that in the future these trends will change.

First few months of the year can be called crypto winter and I think it fits perfectly. There are hard times, a lot of rumors about regulations, China, Korea, G20.. etc. But all in all people will see the true value of the blockchain, their ecosystems and use-cases.

Some news is very worrying especially about the fact that more and more social networks ban advertising cryptocurrencies, I think it’s horrible.

I actually see a good point in their, it was mostly used for ICOs and "quick money babble". This can lead to a whole different aspect of the crypto world. Everyone has to be sure about, that it's not always about getting rich or #moontimesoontime.

To get on to all of this it's really important for projects to get every aspects clear and lucent/transparent. Building up an ecosystem where you can improve your Apps, dApps and systems is momentous and it is in any case an important factor to continue to exist. 24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Blockchain and Sports - What do you think about it? on: April 19, 2018, 06:22:03 AM
To start this I'm really interested in the project Lympo and have been doing a lot of researches yet. In a nutshell Lympo intends to revolutionise the healthy lifestyle ecosystem by monetising and incentivising wellness data which is collected via blockchain. The usage of mobile health (mHealth) apps and wearables is ever-growing. More than 52% of smart phone users gather health-related information on their phone. In 2016 alone, mHealth app store downloads totalled 3.2 billion. Health-related data is a precious asset for both individuals and stakeholders in the data-driven sports, health and wellness industry. So it will definitely have a great use-case actually from now on. Powered by user-generated and user-controlled fitness and wellness data, Lympo will allow the exchange of value through the introduction LYM utility tokens. Lympo’s goal is an ecosystem where data is used efficiently by all industry stakeholders and everyone is rewarded fairly.
It will contain overall three sectors:

  • 1. the Lympo fitness wallet,
  • 2. a marketplace and
  • 3. the Lympo crowdfunding platform

The Lympo app combinded with the ecosystem will be a great place to host crowdfunding initiatives. One reason is because of it's truly ambitious way to attract people with many different sportsmen. Furthermore it will attract people and businesses truly enthusiastic about healthy and active lifestyle. Also the use of wearable fitness trackers data can be utilized and reused for later purposes. Paired with the growth of the global wearables industry, the Lympo ecosystem will enable users to provide individualized, verified, self-generated data and receive LYM tokens in return. The user will then be able to spend it on various goods as well as services in the Lympo marketplace, which will eventually encompass a network of health, wellness, and sports services and goods.

The reason why I started this topic is or the to get on, the question is now - are people who work out really the same people that could use blockchain? I can really bet blockchain is of interest to coders, not sportsmen mainly. I'm one of the guys who're just really interested in the whole world of cryptocurrency and doing a lot therefore to inform myself, but doing aside a lot of sports such as body workouts, like Freeletics or Madbarz and taking part in obstacle race courses. So I'm curious what do you think about it, to combine fintness and sports on the blockchain. Lympo also has lastly some huge partners, recent joining is one great Tennis player. As of today, Lympo’s official partner is Caroline Wozniacki world’s top tennis player with millions of sports fans and followers!
This is a huge step for Lympo and Caroline is exactly the right person to help bringing Lympo to the world. Wozniacki, who won the Australian Open this year and who was named the first athlete in the Most Powerful Women in International Sports list by Forbes, will promote Lympo to her fans, followers and the wider sports community, explaining the app benefits and spreading the word about our mission. It's a great submission for Lympo and I really believe it will have a huge impact to the whole crypto and healthcare sector. More and more people getting in contact with the topic and getting to know more about a good lifestyle, blockchain and sports. A quote of the team: "This partnership inspires us to work even harder to make the world a healthier place and we are truly delighted to have this great athlete join our journey. Welcome aboard, Caroline!"

For sure, but only for Coins that build up or are going tu build up an ecosystem around it and deliver a special or ever a use-case. One coin, especially a new one can't withstand the current market situation right now without such a basic condition or prerequisite. You have to deliver new ideas what for example Lympo really planned to do with a lot of great aspects. Lympo intends to revolutionise the healthy lifestyle ecosystem by monetising and incentivising wellness data which is collected via blockchain. They're growing up a stable and working ecosystem, where the future of Lympo will be backed. The Lympo app+ecosystem will be a great place to host crowdfunding initiatives because it will attract people and businesses truly enthusiastic about healthy and active lifestyle. Also the use of wearable fitness trackers data can be utilized and reused for later purposes.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Verge sucked with its Pornhub partnership! on: April 18, 2018, 09:05:51 AM
I don't know why someone can believe in this coin? They started a fundraiser for what exactly? So that Verge can be used as a means of payment at PornHub? There have been a lot of hype around it for this information or great announcement? What about porn-coins like Spankchain or the likewise?
Actually, who would pay for porn, I mean, seriously?
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the market recover? on: April 18, 2018, 08:55:46 AM
Market is recovering quite good at the moment. Everyone's seeing green numbers again and there is an uptrend happening right now. Smiley
After a period where the fall down didn't seem to end we have strong reasons to believe the bottom has been reached. Bigger organizations have been able to accumulate between the 7500-6500 BTC level for a while due to lack of interest from the mass public. These levels have hold up for considerable time now and general sentiment among experienced traders/investers points to the upside. I would say now it's a quite bad idea to go in again, but if you want to go in do it now or be late to the party.
At the moment of writing BTC started a remarkable quick push upwards, FOMO seems to kick in. BTC has reached $8.084,35 now and let's see where this will lead to.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potential coins on: April 17, 2018, 12:26:06 PM
I really believe in Lympo from the very first beginning. They're very transparent about team tokens having a lock period of years, and large holders, for example some time ago they made Tony's wallet public. So there is certainly nothing abnormal happening with the recent token rising.

Furthermore as they're always like to remind everyone; price is not the focus, it's nice to see it going up of course. However my guess would be this is due to the fact that we have upcoming big news, and more-so; due to the main market getting very healthy again, in a steady fashion, these past couple of weeks. Something big is coming on 18th April.

What that translates into usually; is creating more buyers for projects such as Lympo's, since market confidence is much higher all-around.

Bitcoin and altcoins were dumped because of all kinds of bad news.
It seems it is time for good news now.
I always believe that after huge dumps, there are big opportunities everywhere.

There's just quite too much emotion conflated to this market. Some kind of bad news can have a huge impact on Coins and Altcoins. To get on to this there are so much Pump'n Dump groups just for quick money to take the piss out of new guys on the market. They try to get in as well and get dumped a lot. This leads to much lack of trust for the people. Easy money is a temptation where you can get lost in the process.

What do you think about the company shares for the token holders? This is actually a great point!

31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto thoughts on recent news? on: April 16, 2018, 06:22:55 AM
Furthermore what do you think about the fact to own company shares shared to the users? Lympo for example announced they will be distributing company shares to their token holders. That's actually a great and really new thing at the moment. Maybe we are entering a new assets backed cryptocurrency stage? As far as I know, I'm really a little inexperienced in that respect, but it's definitely going to be a huge affair. How it will affect the crypto industry and tokenomics, what do you say? We will see more rigorous action or, on the contrary, the regulators will withdraw as more and more ICOs will have some real benefits behind them.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto thoughts on recent news? on: April 16, 2018, 06:07:45 AM
cryptocurrency is too useful and practical to fail at this point. the technology and use , particularly for developing countries with little access to services but access to mobile phones. crypto is still in early days and much of the coins will fail but there are convincing arguments for much higher volumes of adoption ( not just as trading )
Agree with you. Cryptocurrency could make a international payment more simple.
This is very interesting for the small and medium business. Because most hard part of the export - alignment a contract with bank.

Cryptocurrencies can be considered as payment as well, but the point therefore is, that it's way too much volatile. As example you pay for something and one or more weeks later you lost profit in this because of value rising of the coin? Some coins which wants to be used as payment method or more precisely as crypto currency should have audits and genuine equivalent to be considered as trustworthy payment method.

Is the EU really blockchain but unanimous?
Bolshynstvo for but there are also countries that do not want this and there are also countries that are not found here such as Ukraine and Russia, they also put a little pressure on the crypto currency!

There is actually some pressure in these mentioned countries, but with an EU agreement there can be much more confidence and trust for users and the government. It is true that the government wants to partially ban or at least regulate it because large profits are already being made. Let's see where this will lead to..

I am always positive that Bitcoin will keep on developing, and I am sure there will be more big investors coming to crypto, crypto is such an unique investment that develop faster than any other investment, and now we are waiting for the government's decision, there are a lot of governments think blockchain and BTC as a useful invention for the future, but some of them also against that idea, now we will need wait what will be their decision, if all governments in the world could agree to accept BTC then BTC will become greatest currency and investment in this world

The cornerstones for this have already been laid. Ultimately, the cooling has not only helped to reduce transaction costs. Especially SegWit in combination with the Lightning Network paves the way for Bitcoin. The popularity of Bitcoin has increased significantly in recent months. This makes it more attractive for merchants to accept Bitcoin. The increasing clarity in tax matters increases the reliability of the crypto currency. Many companies have already recognized the signs of the times, acceptance points and possible uses are expanding. Just recently, the fashion brand United Colors of Benetton announced that it would accept crypto currencies in a branch in Lithuania. The higher the corporate acceptance of bitcoin as a means of payment is, the faster the adaptation of the broad masses progresses.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto thoughts on recent news? on: April 13, 2018, 02:05:02 PM
Well, there are 7,6 billion people in the world. Like it or not even 1% is enough for cryptos to live on and survive all the FUD that was and is happening. I believe we are still in early stages of it and it is just a matter of time when more and more people will start embracing it.
However, we will not avoid stricter regulations as well. But it is a good thing - we cannot have sustainable cryptoworld in a wild wild west state. There should be some ground rules and regulations to abide by.
I do hope more and more projects start popping up with real life use. For now it seems most of projects are trying to solve money issues and decentralization of holdings. But we need more projects that are down to earth, like personal data management, consolidation of personal information which would be easily accessible and fast to get, use blockchain in aviation, automobiles industry, health industy, sports industry, etc. For now it is all about financial industry.

We are definitely still in early stages, same opinion about that!
The last point is great, you have to settle up a stable ecosystem with a real use-case around it. If you really want to establish in this hard times of the crypto market right now, just to mention G20, regulations what are about to come for sure, China bans on mining, big players joining, etc... you definitely have to deliver something new. Making the world a healthier and more connected place requires vision and, most importantly, it requires trust. Lympo with the idea of a healthy lifestyle ecosystem powered by user-generated and user-controlled sports and wellness data will have a great chance to improve something like that!
There are not that much coins right now on the market which could deliver something like that. Sounds like promo, but I really believe in Lympo right now, one of the most valuable coins at the moment!

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Crypto thoughts on recent news? on: April 13, 2018, 09:06:16 AM
The last weeks and months have been anything but rosy for the crypto market. Falling prices and bad news have hit hard on the mood in the crypto-ecosystem - FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt) made big waves. Some reports quickly gave the impression that the crypto-economy was at an end. Crypto currencies have developed into a highly attractive asset class, especially in the second half of 2017. In contrast to traditional exchange-traded financial market products, the entry hurdle here is considered low - anyone can invest in crypto currencies after a few simple steps with a small portfolio. Hower what do you think about cryptocurrency the upcoming time?

There are a lot of crypto whales who really have a huge impact on crypto space, this is true. Now with recent news from Soros, Rothschild, and other big institutional Investors who are entering the Bitcoin Market. Slowly but surely, the tide will turn in favor of all cryptocurrencies. Financial moguls, including George Soros, the Rothschild family, and others, now have their sights set on Bitcoin. It makes for an interesting development, albeit the potential impact has yet to be determined. What are your thoughts about those big players? Do you think it's good?

Furthermore the EU is getting more and more interest in Blockchain and it's use-cases. In the opening speech at EU Digital Day, EU Commission Vice President Andrus Ansip called on member states to become more involved in the use and development of blockchain technologies. Europe must play a leading role worldwide. To achieve this goal, 22 EU member states signed a Blockchain partnership at the event on 10th April. In the future, this should bundle the commitment especially in the further expansion of the common digital market. The Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy is currently looking for examples of applications and ideas for how Blockchain can create added value in the areas of education, energy, health, transport and administration, among others. The open innovation platform of the Intelligent Networking Initiative of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi - Germany) will focus on blockchain in 2018. We will have great times ahead! Just to mention, I'm German, so I'm a little hyped about this.

Also various economics faculties at Brazilian universities deal with crypto currencies. In addition, there are many research projects and master's courses on the subject worldwide. There are already a number of initiatives in Germany as well. The Brazilian university Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo is starting a Master's programme focusing on crypto currencies.

More and more adoption for cryptocurrency world is coming, 2018 will be a great year. Tell me your thoughts about it. Smiley

Soros, Rothschild, and Big Institutional Investors are Entering Bitcoin Market
36  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the beginning of new crypto era? on: April 13, 2018, 07:49:07 AM
I have mixed feeling regarding all this big companies venture capital coming into the crypto space. It is good for the overall growth of tge market as the big players are getting in now. But i do feel this could hamper the crypto space too as these big guys will manipulate the market to a great extent for their own benefit.
It was only possible in past but not now, and the reason is that the increasing number of bitcoin users, in fact as soon as time pass bitcoin users are increasing which is making bitcoin more stronger. Therefore i do not think that it has now become so easy to manipulate the bitcoin price so easily. Bitcoin is now becoming more stronger. The increasing number of bitcoin users are making bitcoin more reliable and stronger.

There are a lot of crypto whales who really have a huge impact on crypto space, this is true. However, the confidence that is currently being created in the sustainability of the market can prove to be much more valuable in the long term.
So the point of distributing company shares to their token holders is a new and great way to improve the Blockchain and crypto currency stage. I'm currently curious about the whole thing.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Lympo revolutionize the way of doing sports also with a new ecosystem? on: April 13, 2018, 07:28:08 AM
Just finished to analyse their whitepaper and recent news. My thoughts about this project are very positive and promising, because their community are active, support team response quickly. Also, they are already listed on four exchanges, however I expect volume to be higher in near future. Not to mention, that on April 18th, they will announce smth big, need to follow them on Twitter https://twitter.com/lympo_io?lang=en

There are so much good as solid point mentioned in the Whitepaper, highly recommend reading it. Furthermore something big is coming. Bearing this in mind, mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 18. The time has come to take our journey to the next level. To get to the core of the project and the question of this topic, it will definitely change something. The team is permanently involved in the project and community to deliver a stable and well organized ecosystem. The recent news for the basis Blockchain is set and especially the EU made a strong collaboration within 22 Member States, including Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Malta and the United Kingdom.

Watching Lympo for a longer time from now on and has never been disappointed until now! You really get answers in their Telegram Channel and with a stable and working ecosystem, the future of Lympo will be backed. Furthermore the Lympo app+ecosystem will be a great place to host crowdfunding initiatives because it will attract people and businesses truly enthusiastic about healthy and active lifestyle. You could, for example, use your LYM, which you’ve earned for running a marathon, to crowdfund your favorite local sports team or to help a rising athlete achieve their goals.

40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My top 3 altcoin picks for 2018! on: April 12, 2018, 01:12:38 PM
Top 1: NEO with it's Network with other blockchains (NEOX link), Developer Competition, Project ICOs based on NEM5, Partnerships, Onchain, etc. Also the fact that you are getting kind of dividends from NEO all over the time to the value of GAS.

Top 2: Lympo, the best recent surprising coin, with the aim of an healthy lifestyle ecosystem powered by user-generated and user-controlled sports and wellness data. Furthermore with the upcoming release of the wallet app and the use of wearable fitness trackers data. Lympo's upcoming huge ecosystem with health, sports, healthcare (if everything's going good), reward system and much more. The first look into the wallet app is great, you can have a look in it right here. Great and ambitious working team as well as an awesome atmosphere within the community.

Top 3: eBTC: The eBitcoin Ecosystem brings together many Blockchain companies all under one umbrella-type group. Each partner within the Ecosystem works independently and focuses on their specific expertise, but also collaborates with other partners in the Ecosystem for the advancement of the Crypto world. The primary utility of the eBTC token is to provide an easy and fast payment solution with respectable transaction fees. It will be the primary payment method used in the eBitcoin Ecosystem.
