Does xlr look to compete with DASH in a year or two time frame?
Without real world usage - hardly. And that's assuming Dash will stay still and Solaris jumping up 500%+. Loved the tweet dev. Does anyone know the hashrate on both chains separately and what the total hashrate might be once the old chain is obsolete? |

I have a second IP and another client. Can't get it to change data directories. ./solaris-cli -datadir="/root/solaris1/.solaris" Then I get the error error: too few parameters i used this: ./solaris-cli -datadir=[DIR] -config=[DIR]/solaris.conf [COMMAND] Thanks schyter. Just to clarify, [DIR] is obviously the directory of your second client, did you put it in quotes or without? And what is the [COMMAND] exactly? That's probably what's causing the error with not enough parameters. |

I want to run a second MN on time4vps. My solaris.conf is the same on both IPs, so what would I do to add the second IP to the file?
Would it look something like this:
masternodeaddrs=IP_ADDR_0, IP_ADDRS_1
externalip=IP_ADDR_0, IP_ADDRS_1
you need to get another external IP. it's 1 maternode per IP max and you need to run 2 different solaris client. 1 client per masternode (you can use the command -datadir=./.....) I have noticed the 0.66666 XLR per payount on the Masternodes on the block explorer.
The extra 0.2666 XLR you are enjoying right now belongs to the Solaris budget system for the most part and a little portion to miners
This discrepancy will be corrected using the spork system.

So if I understood the PoS breakdown correctly this is the current phase: [block’s 43201-151200] 20% MN (0.4 XLR) / 70% MINER (1.4 XLR) / 10% Available to the budget system (0.20 XLR) So my concern is this, currently my masternode is paying this amount: 0.66666666 per payout is that correct or is there a problem with the payout structure? I mean I'm not complaining by any means its just unexpected and I want to make sure everything is going smoothly!  P.S. I think it's throwing off the payout cycle too. My mn was running just fine yesterday, receiving payments every 3 and half hours (ish) but then I haven't received a single payment today. |

Hey Dev, just an idea to update the website with the XEVAN wallets and remove the old Nist5 ones.
Also, I know you're busy with new features for Solaris. Would love to have you around here as often as you can. Gave me a lot of confidence when I first started digging that you were so active. I know it'd be the same for people dropping in for the first time.

Anything wrong with the Xevan network? Haven t received any coins with my miner or with my masternodes for 8 hours.

Doesn't matter much difficulty dropped a bit. I switched from multi coin mining with 9 L3+ to mine Linx because of the fact I can net $180 a day easily and with dropping difficulty it has been going higher. If the price bumps back up I call it a hell of a winner if not the profit is still $50 more than litecoin.
What are you mining with, that gets you 180 bucks a day? 1260 bucks a week. That's around 60K/yr. 9 L3+ miners it mentions in the comment  That's borderline gibberish to me. I understand mining...barely. I'm specifically a FT trader. Who's been doing this FT since Dec. The reason I ask is because, idk if it'll make my life easier if i get involved in mining and master nodes. Maybe it's because I'm a terrible trader but I've found masternodes as an easy thing to set it and forget it. Let me come back in a few months and see how I'm doing. I'm also no miner, though it is something I'd like to get in to. Antminer L3+ is a well used Scrypt based ASIC miner, roughly around 1700 USD. You need to be technical enough to troubleshoot if issues pop up. Your profit depends on the block reward of what you're mining, the network hashrate vs your hashrate (basically, mining power) and the network difficulty (how fast or slow a block can be mined) minus electricity. The hashrate for Litecoin is like 250x bigger than Linx so you'd get a bigger piece of the pie (in regards to hash) with Linx than with Litecoin. Super basic knowledge of mining though. |

I hope you've been a good ninja otherwise santa might not come this year  Like a good ninja, I've been accumulating so just gotta wait to open up the present in a few short weeks. Maybe today's the beginning! The coins very undervalued at the minute, especially satoshi price  . I reckon we should see a steady price rise back to where it belongs and beyond. Jingle bells, Jingle bells, santa and lynx going to the moon! I don't believe now the coin in undervalued given the market situation. I believe this coin will jump but we have to wait another April-Mai pump soaring the entire market. I don't see this coin going against trend like VTC and growing day by day but as soon as a new rush for crypto starts, this one given the current market cap should quickly move to 20-30mln. My view is that in great market conditions +/-5$ is a realistic price (I expect this in the next 6 months) but again this is not a financial advice no one really knows what will happen nor I advice to invest more than you can afford to loose. It's hard to say what's the proper value for a coin in these kind of markets. You have ICO projects with not even an alpha out valued at a few hundred million. You have people coming out of the woodwork with every kind of idea imaginable. One thing that crypto doesn't do well is PR. If Linx has the infrastructure they're hinting at + partnerships in the works + bigger exchanges to coincide with those integrations and they package it nicely and do PR well for Christmas, then I would say yes, it actually is an undervalued coin. IMO the trend right now is everyone wants BTC for the fork. It created enough momentum that people got FOMO, but no new fiat is flowing into crypto so they're pulling from alts. I hope people dump B2X and that money will flow back into alts, just like what happened with BCH. But who actually knows. I'm looking forward to after Nov 16 to see how alts react once this fork drama is behind us. |

You can check that out at mnrank.com. That's your best bet since the ROI changes depending on the number of masternodes running on the network question about POS, not MASTERNODE ROI My fault. Should have fully read your question. Yeah, we're not looking at POS until probably early to mid April. |

MN owners, any profit estimations for this one? I've checked the usual online sites but wanted to confirm real world data.
They're pretty accurate. You're looking roughly at 10 block a day * .4 (block reward) ~ 4 coins a day. Sometimes you'll mine back to back blocks for whatever reason so you might have 11 in a day but that's uncommon |

Use this link (found on the first page): https://solaris.swapyourcoins.todayYou'll need to create a new wallet for the Xevan algo coins and then send your coins from coinexchange/cryptopia to that site. It'll swap and send you the corresponding amount to your new wallet. Then you can set up your masternode. Else you wait for coinexchange to do the swap for you on Nov 1. Cheers! |

Correct. Coinexchange will be the first exchange for the Xevan algo. Dev - any update with Cryptopia? I hear their listing price (in this case RElisting) is 9 BTC. Highway robbery. |
