21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real IOTA contender? on: December 26, 2017, 06:52:29 PM
Hi, everyone. What do you think about this project called Neurogress?
I read their white paper and I am amazed, to say the least. So futuristic idea. They develop a software that can let us control things with the power of thought. It reads in the white paper that they will integrate the platform with IoT. So it will let us control things remotely over the internet. I think this project, if successful, will change the world big time just like IOTA will. This project can change many areas a lot, like medicine, robotics, gaming, transportation.
Any ideas? Speak your mind, what you think about this whole thing

Thats good to be true, control things just using brains, software can be made but applying it to the real world is hard, you can call this project a psycho project jkding.

I agree. There is a lot to be made. But IOTA is just developing too. The projects of this sort is more of a long-term investment.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any recommendation to a noob about ICO? on: December 25, 2017, 01:57:22 PM
I think too many newbies are crazy about ICOs. Not every project will be successful. The most important thing to realize is that you will win and lose a lot of money with ICOs. If you don't spend at least 5 hours researching a project the odds are that you will lose 90% of the time.
The ICO that you want to invest in is most likely a good one. But any way you need to understand what you're investing in.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 best ICOs in your opinion for 2018? on: December 25, 2017, 01:52:33 PM
Aeron is best i see many ads for them , AIDCOIN  for me i prefer to use coins for than ICOs

you need to read whitepaper for ICOs and only need to track chart for alt

The number of ads doesn't mean ICO is best. It just means they pay a lot of money for advertising. But ICO is interesting anyway

I read it, but don't think I saw something about this. Can you point the exact page?

page 12, section 2.3 security and privacy

Neurogress have a great potential too, but it is in completely different niche.

IOTA is for IoT (Internet of Things). Neurogress is for reading mind impulses. Actually it's more probable to sue both together instead of being competitors.

Can you please explain a little more in details? As I understand Nuerogress also plan to integrate IoT into their ecosystem, wouldn't it harm IOTA?
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real IOTA contender? on: December 24, 2017, 11:24:40 AM
From what I've read you put on neuro interface and then think about the action you want, that device understands what you want and you get the desired action. That's alright. But what about privacy? It's scary. What if that device will memorize my thoughts  Shocked

Don't worry, read their white paper. All signals would be encrypted  Smiley
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Should I do as a newbie? on: December 23, 2017, 03:59:45 PM
As a newbie you can't participate in the signature campaign so that you can earn bitcoin. To upgrade your rank you have to be active in the forum and post regularly. When your rank is elevated to Jr. Member or Member (would be better) you can participate in the signature campaign and earn bitcoin.

Well, some campaigns allow newbie as far as I know. Or you can participate in the signature campaigns for the tokens of the project the signature of whom you carry. I know that Zabercoin allows newbies. Then just convert the token to bitcoin if you want. Here is the bounty https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2398330.0

I know for sure that ELF went on Binance a few days ago. So maybe there is no data yet

You can be certain that such technology will bring lower privacy, but also be certain that people will find ways to preserve it even with use of such devices.

Agreed. Just like people found the ways to protect privacy on the internet, people will find a way to protect this, if it would be necessary
31  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever dreamed to control things with your mind? on: December 22, 2017, 06:24:15 PM
I learned that EVERYTHING in this world is possible and it all starts in your mind.
If you can dream it, you can do it.

I think you are right. Many successful people said that everything begins with your mind. In a sense, we already control things with our thoughts. They kinda shape our lives
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 best ICOs in your opinion for 2018? on: December 22, 2017, 05:07:33 PM
If you're a newbie, you are probably better off buying bitcoin and alts. Just hang around a bit. Don't rush. As you get more experience, you will understands better where is good ICO and where is bad. Where is legit, where is a scam.

As for me, I participated in
1) Zabercoin and
2) Hdac.
I think those are one of the best ICOs now.
I also anticipate Neurogress. This one will be huge. Just imagine that you could control things with thoughts. That's what they develop
33  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie here. Need help on: December 22, 2017, 04:20:12 PM
hi. can a newbie participate in signature campaigns or is it for more ranked members only?

Yes you can. But as far as I know not a lot of signatures campaigns accept newbies. I know that Zabercoin does https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2398330.0
Try serching services section in marketplace. Maybe there you can find something. I don't really participate in those bounties Smiley
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best ICO to invest in on: December 21, 2017, 09:18:16 PM
Less and less good ICOs I see. Last one I remember was Electroneum. Really good ICO. Now I participate in Zabercoin(blockchain+real estate). Then I am going to participate in Neurogress(control things with the power of thought).
They are very good ICOs. Such projects are a rare thing. Check them out, read their white papers
35  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Safest and cheapest way to store cryptos(XRP,BTC,LTC,ETH...) on: December 21, 2017, 09:11:55 PM
saffest is still a paper wallet. hardware wallet's can still break

Paper can be burned or impaired somehow too. So I don't think how it can be safer. The same security for me. But, if you set up paper wallet wrong, you are screwed.
36  Other / Off-topic / Have you ever dreamed to control things with your mind? on: December 20, 2017, 05:50:06 PM
Wouldn't that be amazing? I think it was everyone's childhood dream to move things with the power of thought. I'm glad that now there are a few developments in this field by such projects as Neurogress and maybe others I am not aware of.
But the thing is, future is near and I'm so excited about it.
Incredible how far the progress has come.
Sci-fi fiction becomes a reality. What do you think about this whole neurocontrol thing, AI, VR? Share your thoughts about how this can improve our lives Smiley
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most promising coins of 2018 on: December 15, 2017, 09:25:13 AM
Ethereum, it only began to realize its potential. EOS - great technology, I think they will grow a lot next year. Cordano, Waves. I also believe that Electronium and Zabercoin will do very great
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What ICO to invest in? on: December 14, 2017, 08:28:35 PM
A good ICO, first of all, has a uniqur idea. I think this is the most important factor. The second thing is a team. It should be trusted developers and known advisors.
I chose Zabercoin this month because they have it both. Check ICO reviews as well to find more good ICOs. And of course ANN threads in this forum, what people say about it.
39  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best and safe wallet on: December 14, 2017, 07:47:45 PM
Paper wallet, hard wallet, or software wallet like Electrum. There you have an option of cold storage
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promising ICO? on: December 14, 2017, 10:56:55 AM
I know about Zabercoin. Read in the news that they were blackmailed by scammers who ruined their reputation http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/12/08/ico-scammers-new-cybercriminal-breed/.
I think that's the reason why they don't get much attention.
As for RxEAL, I never heard of them. Also I saw somewhere a project that has a similar idea with AirBNB but with crypto, but I can't remember now  Huh
PM me if you're interested, I'll try to find it
