21  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is an Asset or Currency? on: January 12, 2018, 04:42:07 PM
Event if the initial intention was to create a currency, at present - due to high fees and long time verification - is much more an asset

Good point. But that's only applicable to BTC. Alts are fast and cheap. But because still very little things are bought with them, it's not fully currencies in my opinion. But we will come to this soon.

23  Other / Beginners & Help / How can I check PGP signature? on: January 07, 2018, 05:39:27 PM
So, is there any easy step-by-step guide on how to verify PGP signature of Electrum? I visited their site, found this signature https://download.electrum.org/3.0.4/electrum-3.0.4.exe.asc
, downloaded standalone executable for Windows... And what next?
Can anyone help?

Just download Delta app and it will do everything for you
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help a noob. What is your opinion on this ICO? on: January 06, 2018, 03:59:48 PM
Those days, many ICOs are SCAM. Therefore be careful. Actually i don't know about your ICO.
I found great ICO called Daneel. ( Official Daneel Website : https://daneel.io/ ) I think this one is so valuable in future. This ICO has very good concept and Team.
CEO - Founder of this project is Joseph Bedminster. I think this man and all member of the team can change the future. Cool
You can do a research of this project and invest it.
You can get more information about Concept and Team By reading Whitepaper and Join with the community.

Interesting, I saw a few projects like this. Not sure what their names were and what happened to them.
I didn't read their white paper but on their front page, it reads "Get the most reliable cryptocurrency news, signals, and market emotions analyses. By using our AI based on IBM Watson, be assisted in your daily investment decisions making." And projects that recommend you where to invest money seem somewhat scammy for me  Smiley

What do others think?

Constantly checking all those graphs at coinmarketcap. I need to stop, man. Cool
27  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the most important technologies right now that will save the world? on: January 06, 2018, 02:44:41 PM
Whenever someone poses a question like this, I always reply with "soap and toilet paper".
You can boast about antibiotics and vaccines all you want, but if you can't use soap or TP, you will have a lot of troubles and by using them you will not even need these medicines in the first place.

As for the wheel, well Inca never got eradicated because of their lacking of wheeled vehicles, but because they died of smallpox.

And all these electrical things, who cares?
It is cool and all, but if you are dieing of tuberculosis, Internet and light bulbs doesn't really sound that impressive, does it?

Wow, great list, thanks for that! Also, take a look at Neurogress. They develop a technology with the help of which we will be able to control things with our thoughts. Very interesting project. They have already tested it, check out their YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cMsAys1ZZU&t=1s
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best upcoming ICO on: January 02, 2018, 03:38:04 PM
Look at Zabercoin, good project. It's a crypto with intrinsic value because it's backed by physical assets. Also, check Neurogress. Great technology

Hi,

I suggest we list here projects and ICOs that are in development right now.
Anyone who knows such, please write about it. Preferably, including link to any relevant info.

Thanks!

P.S. If there is such a topic already, please post a link to it. I haven't found such.

Actually, there are a lot of topics like this. Like this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2125150.580
Just search first 10 pages and I'm sure you will find 3-5 topics minimum
31  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie full of questions on: January 02, 2018, 03:13:01 PM
Hello everyone.

I am new here, got interested in cryptocurrencies topics because of a few colleagues at work boasting how much they could earn by investing in BTC and Ethereum currencies. It is so encouraging by just listening to them how lucky they were buying a few coins a year before.

I think well, yes, it might be true they were lucky, however I still cannot develop myself to simply trust in something what only exists because a bunch of people agreed to understand that x amount of real currency is the amount which these people see in their online files as certain amount of imaginary money. How something like that could be trustful and how does it actually work? I have really plenty of questions before I would like to devote myself to really get to know what kind of business this is and can I actually find a place for investition for myself. Could you please help me understand what actually crypto currency then is and what made Bitcoin so spectacular, worth investing thing?

Kind regards, to all of you, hope I can get my answers here.

All money work like that. People just agree that x amount of something worth something else. This source has a lot of information https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Main_Page
The main reason that made Bitcoin succeed is that your money yours forever and nobody can take it away from you. You don't need trust with it. You are the one who controls your money without any intermediaries.

I think Neurogress and Zaber are among the best ICOs now, check them out.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in those ICOs? on: December 28, 2017, 09:39:02 PM
HUGE fan of Polymath. I see them making huge waves in the finance sector. I'll be going in hard if they get on exchanges soon. They also have an airdrop coming soon too.

Also would recommend joining their telegram for updates: https://t.me/polymathnetwork

Polymath already launched sign up for an airdrop.

Hi. I'm looking at some good ICOs. Can anyone recommend good ICOs? Preferably those that involved in healthcare like Healthureum because I think healthcare is one of the most important areas where blockchain should be implemented. I also would like to participate in INS and Polymath.
What do you think of all those ICOs?

Those ICOs you have listed are good in my opinion.
To understand whether you should invest or not, you should listen to yourself first. I'd better lose my money because of myself, and not because I carelessly took someone's advice. Check everything you can find about the project: white paper, team, SMs, bitcointalk threads, etc.
34  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should an airdrop ask for personal info? on: December 28, 2017, 05:51:59 PM
This ICO is legit I am sure. Polymath. I'm just curious why they need to know my full name
35  Other / Beginners & Help / Should an airdrop ask for personal info? on: December 28, 2017, 05:30:36 PM
Hi. I never participated in airdrop so I don't know how it works exactly. Why would they ask you for full name? Is this normal? Are they gonna check who you are and why?
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favourite ongoing/upcoming ICOs on: December 27, 2017, 07:20:54 PM
For me it's Zabercoin(coin backed by real estate) and Neurogress (controlling things with the power of thought). Those projects have a bright future
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICO before the end of 2017 on: December 27, 2017, 06:10:16 PM
Make your own reasearch. Don't invest blindly. I invested in Zabercoin ICO. In the long term it will rise I am sure. Also take look at Neurogress. This is the first ICO I'm gonna invest in 2018
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is verge (XVG) a safe investment? on: December 27, 2017, 06:04:50 PM
I don't see it going higher anu time soon because it skyrocketed last weeek. Maybe it will even fall a bit. But who knows. Now it's pretty high anyway even after the pump is over
39  Other / Politics & Society / Re: TIME MACHINE! on: December 27, 2017, 05:59:16 PM
Time machine would be great. I could invest amd cash out just in time  Grin
