We will shortly be releasing a plugin that will let you accept bitcoin payments with WordPress without the need to host a third party store etc. Would love to hear from you if you'd be interested in beta testing it.

Thanks for all your early work in getting these widgets out there. We are in the process of releasing a suite of Bitcoin Plugins for WordPress and will definitely consider learnings from these earlier plugins in our best practices. Also just sent out a couple of tips

BitPay actually has a WordPress integration if you want to go that route. If you want to manage the process yourself it's a little harder however I will shortly be releasing a new WordPress plugin through BitMate that allows anyone to accept Bitcoin payments without a bitcoin merchant account such as BitPay.

I'm currently working on a suite of WordPress solutions for Bitcoin. The first plugin was submitted to the WordPress Repo and allows every blog author to store a Bitcoin address in their profile and then it automatically generates a donation block after every post. There is also a shortcode so the plugin can be used pretty much anywhere, including pages and there is a widget on the roadmap for single site blogs, publishers and charities. Also knee deep in development of a full digital payment solution for WordPress based on Bitcoin (also currently utilising Blockchain.info). Can't believe I only just found out about this project today, I did have an extensive search before I began work and didn't find much except external scripts. Didn't plan on announcing till the first plugin was out on the repo. It would be cool to connect on Skype IM or something to chat!

Have been working on the plugin relentlessly and have managed to get a solid base together with some pretty neat features, plus a roadmap for further development.
