Friends, the winner is the one who can wait.
A lot of work has been done, the team works and works hard. No one will sacrifice a reputation and no one wants to deal with the police.
Simply now we are preparing for partnership. Tomorrow we'll find out everything, I'm sure it will, I want to believe in it. Now the main thing is NOT to sell coins, hold, hold and wait.
If they were scammers, they would have long since disappeared.

25  Other / Meta / Forum and DDoS on: April 09, 2018, 07:36:00 AM
Sometimes I notice that the forum lies. It's like DDoS. My opinion is that it is necessary for this forum to make its own cluster.
Cloud protection is a good way out, but not a business package from a Cloudflare.
The cluster will distribute the attack on the servers, on each server there will be a filter. In the end, the attack will simply not be felt.
26  Other / Meta / Re: Moving to Cloudflare on: April 08, 2018, 07:37:47 AM
With regret, I am (for now) admitting defeat on the DDoS front, and we will soon be using using Cloudflare to protect against DDoS attacks. This change is in progress, and will take ~24 hours for everyone to see.

I really don't believe in willingly putting a man-in-the-middle in your HTTPS like this, but my homebrew DDoS mitigation has been one of my biggest time sinks for the last 6 months or so, and the necessary servers are still pretty expensive. If I had more manpower, then I would prioritize maintaining our own DDoS protection, but with me as the only sysadmin and current-software developer, it's become unsustainable.

I especially dislike Cloudflare, which I'm almost certain is basically owned by US intelligence agencies. I considered several alternatives to Cloudflare, but the smaller ones (eg. Stackpath and OVH) didn't strike me as reputable/competent enough, and the enterprise-targeted ones like Incapsula and Akamai are around $3500/month. Even though $3500/month seems absolutely ridiculous to me, I was seriously considering Incapsula due to its pretty good reputation, but then they were having all sorts of technical issues while I was trying to set it up. So I gave up for now and went with Cloudflare.

The Internet is seriously flawed if everyone needs to huddle behind these huge centralized anti-DDoS companies in order to survive...

The security implications are that Cloudflare can read everything you send to or receive from the server, including your cleartext password and any PMs you send or look at. They can't access the database arbitrarily, though: they can only see data that passes over the Internet.

Tor users and benevolent-bot operators: please wait a couple of days for the current DDoS to subside, and then post your complaints here. I am able and willing to tune Cloudflare to be minimally annoying. Not every Cloudflare site has to do that "Using Tor? Here's an impossible captcha" thing.

Dear admin, cloud protection from CloudFlare is a bad idea. And yes, the CloudFlare is cooperating. CloudFlare falls with jsbypass very easily.
You need an individual cluster, it will disperse the attack and thus ddos will not be felt. Write to me in PM, we have a big team is engaged in this just.

And consider the important point: your real ip should not fall into the wrong hands. Many ill-wishers will be recognized through mail (password recovery) or through a sniffer.

And in general, there is an expert on attacks, his name is Agata, he has been dealing with attacks for a long time, everybody knows him.

I would like to get the status - Member.
I have high activity, but there is no Member status, who can help? Thanks.

Do some research before posting, you will get member quickly.

You need 10 merit, not hard to get.

In which section is it best to publish my messages in order to get merit?

Depends a lot. Mostly you need to make relevant posts to the topic and you will get awarded. Bitcoin Technical discussion and Meta are good places to start...

If you are russian, just post anything in local board and you will get tons of merit.
ok, thanks a lot.

34  Bitcoin / Press / [2018-03-20] Telegram Loses Bid to Block Russia From Encryption Keys on: March 21, 2018, 08:56:18 PM
Telegram, the encrypted messaging app that’s prized by those seeking privacy, lost a bid before Russia’s Supreme Court to block security services from getting access to users’ data, giving President Vladimir Putin a victory in his effort to keep tabs on electronic communications.

Supreme Court Judge Alla Nazarova on Tuesday rejected Telegram’s appeal against the Federal Security Service, the successor to the KGB spy agency which last year asked the company to share its encryption keys. Telegram declined to comply and was hit with a fine of $14,000. Communications regulator Roskomnadzor said Telegram now has 15 days to provide the encryption keys.

Telegram, which is in the middle of an initial coin offering of as much as $2.55 billion, plans to appeal the ruling in a process that may last into the summer, according to the company’s lawyer, Ramil Akhmetgaliev. Any decision to block the service would require a separate court ruling, the lawyer said.

“Threats to block Telegram unless it gives up private data of its users won’t bear fruit. Telegram will stand for freedom and privacy,” Pavel Durov, the company’s founder, said on his Twitter page.

Putin signed laws in 2016 on fighting terrorism, which included a requirement for messaging services to provide the authorities with means to decrypt user correspondence. Telegram challenged an auxiliary order by the Federal Security Service, claiming that the procedure doesn’t involve a court order and breaches constitutional rights for privacy, according to documents.

The security agency, known as the FSB, argued in court that obtaining the encryption keys doesn’t violate users’ privacy because the keys by themselves aren’t considered information of restricted access. Collecting data on particular suspects using the encryption would still require a court order, the agency said.

“The FSB’s argument that encryption keys can’t be considered private information defended by the Constitution is cunning,” Akhmetgaliev, Telegram’s lawyer, told reporters after the hearing. “It’s like saying, ‘I’ve got a password from your email, but I don’t control your email, I just have the possibility to control.’”

The court decision is intended to make one of the last holdouts among communications companies bow to Putin’s efforts to track electronic messaging. Durov in June registered the service with the state communications watchdog after it was threatened with a ban over allegations that terrorists used it to plot a suicide-bomb attack.

Telegram has more than 9.5 million users in Russia, according to researcher Mediascope. It raised $850 million from investors in February in a so-called initial coin offering and is trying to raise another $1.7 billion, according to company documents seen by Bloomberg News. Telegram plans to use the proceeds to build a blockchain network with built-in cryptocurrency Gram that could enable faster transactions than bitcoin.

Мерит дают за интересные (качественные) сообщения, как я понимаю. Но мне кажется, что многие сообщения просто пропадают из-за того, что люди их не видят и как итог -  не получают свои заслуги.

39  Other / Politics & Society / Google bans crypto-currency adverts on: March 18, 2018, 08:19:59 AM
Google has moved to ban crypto-currency advertising from its platforms.
The move will affect promotional campaigns for initial coin offerings, Bitcoin exchanges, digital wallets to store the assets and trading advice.
A notice said the policy would be introduced in June but did not give an explanation why.

What do you think? What is the way out of this situation? Other search engines?
