I thought about the Raspberry Pi, but then I thought, "Why not use linux on a tablet like a Nexus 7?" That's what I'm looking to do. Just get a USB "OTG" cable for USB interface, install Linux, and run it that way. I know it's a little off topic, but anyway, that's what I'm hoping to do. Even smaller footprint; no need for extra power cable, since it charges off the USB input; no need for separate screen; ultra-low power consumption. Built-in wifi; no need for mouse or keyboard...
Hi,
can you provide some more detail on how would this work? I love the fact you dont need an extra monitor and that it has built in wifi. What do you mean no extra power cable? The only thing I can think of is using a USB power Hub. tablet -> usb "otg" cable -> double sided usb cable -> usb power hub. Then have my bfl miners connected to the USB power hub too.

Anyone know what the warranty was for the FPGA single? I emailed them about mine on Tuesday this week, the power supply died. Haven't received any helpful information at all in the forums either. Plus finding out I can't do an upgrade any more makes it even more of a facepalm for me. I received it on November 2nd 2012 I believe... warranty has to be good still right?  Huh
FPGAs use to have a 6month warranty. Future asic products are lifetime. Im not sure if the fpga warrarnty has changed since they were first released but im positive it use to be 6 months.

It was only about 5 blocks, and he'd been talking the whole time. I'm hoping he actually understood me when I told him where we (my wife and daughter and I) want to go.

About a block from the restaurant, he said something into the phone that caught my attention.

Indicator no. 127 that you have been obsessing about Bitcoin too much: You measure time in blocks mined.
ha that is a good one, made me laugh.

38  Economy / Securities / Re: (GLBSE) TYGRR.BOND-P 4.85% weekly uninsured pass though bond to BTCST on: August 21, 2012, 04:04:42 PM
Hi Goat,

Pirate has said that he will pay out the old 7% rate for the final payout (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=101339.0 line [2012-08-17 16:24:27]).  Will you be passing this on to your pass-through accounts?  Thanks!

Yeah, I would guess I would buy back at 1.068 for the last time if he pays out the interest. Seems fair.
thanks for the info and buying back at 1.068 when the time comes.
39  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Surprised I'm the first to ask. What is up with this David_Benz guy? on: July 17, 2012, 05:38:53 PM
I did some trades with him 2months~ ago and didnt have any problems. I figured that BFL thread was because he was frustrated dealing with BFL.
