23  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin price ready to touch the moon..?? on: April 10, 2018, 06:24:24 PM
we see the Bitcoin price going very down from last 3 months but now we see $6500 to $7000 from last 15 to 20 days.
Now according to my opinion the price of Bitcoin ready to touch $ 15000 to $20000 in next 3 months.
What would you think.
Such a hike is expected because now it is the time for the market to recover. And hopefully this quarter would be a good one for the bitcoin and other crypto currencies. maybe because the market has started recovering, we are expecting a huge demand yet again and hope to see a new era of the bitcoin yet again. Hope that good times soon come back  Cheesy
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get Cryptocurrency Job?? on: April 10, 2018, 06:12:27 PM
just because a business utilises blockchain tech. doesnt mean that standard jobs no longer exist within a business

you dont actually need to know the science of blockchain if your not interested in being a dev

most employers offering non-dev jobs want
customer service people who handle user accounts.. not private keys..
want graphics designers
want office/mail room assistants
even lunchroom/dining/catering assistants for their staff
electricians, maintenance, janiters, even child care

most of the time they give training on using their systems and for customer service roles, usually have a script of commonly asked customer requests and answers.

after all do you think something like coinbase would trust their employee's with customers private keys. or want their front line staff to have deep access of their systems. so relax you dont need high end qualifications or knowledge just tho get a low end job. but if your hoping to get a high end job then ofcourse learn as much as you can to show your worthy of the bigger money

Exactly there is no need of any kind of specific qualification you need to have in this field, because there is an availability of variety of posts. And if you specialize in any of the abovementioned positions then you can easily fit yourself into this place. but if you want to put yourself into a specialized position or master the art of crypto, you need to start from the very basics because unless you are familiar with the basics, you cannot understand the technicalities of the items that may come across your path later on.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India banned bitcoin but I don’t want to quit bitcoins ?? on: April 09, 2018, 04:05:42 PM

If India banned bitcoin,I will continue because we are not an Indian people. We are Filipino and in our country its not yet be ban so continue use on it.If our country going to ban bitcoin then that the time I will going to stop because theres nothing we can do just to respect what our govenment rules about it.
You did not help him bro, I think if there is nothing good you can say in a thread dont waste your time on replying here and dont waste our time reading your non sense reply dont just post to get the required activity on your sig campaign!

For the OP, I think it will help if you and other bitcoin user in your country will have a group and try to file an appeal to your government because in your case it will broke your life if that will totally happen.
I don't think that is going to help because in India there is not much awareness regarding the subject and we do not have much people who deal in the crypto currency. So there is not gonna be any good strength to oppose the decisions of the government. And as far as I am updated with this news, I think government has yet not imposed a ban on the crypto currency. It is just a statement release by the RBI to discontinue the dealings in virtual currencies. So you still have time to convert your digi currency into fiat. But after this statement release, one thing is for sure, government of India will soon take an action in this regard and that might be for sure banning of crypto currency. But until now no wrong has been done, you still have some time!
26  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit $50,000 this year?? on: April 08, 2018, 12:54:10 PM
The current market scenario doesn't let us all believe that bitcoin will touch $50,000 this year. Probably the price will see a uptrend this quarter after a steep fall till $7,000, but $50,000 is a far reaching position for the bitcoin this year. Well you can never be sure of the crypto market. Even last year we had all predicted bitcoin price to moon up on the rise of 2k18, but what happened was exactly opposite of the predictions. So, I have stopped predicting the price now, neither do I depend on predictions by others. What I feel is market is soaring very badly right now. It's better to hodl and wait for the better times to come. Undecided
27  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you agree? on: April 08, 2018, 11:42:46 AM
according to this it will happen. because the main factor that makes bitcoin prices rise is the political figures or big leaders who support bitcoin. this is good news if bitcoin prices will go up, better invest from now to get profit later before you regret. I just hope this will be true for all of us
There are many other factors that affect the crypto market and the currency rates apart from the political factors only. Political decisions and statement releases by the governments ought to have a major stake in affecting the bitcoin prices. So maybe this happens to be true that after April 17, there is a slight uptrend in the prices but there are many other events happening around us that may not let this uptrend happen!! So for sure cannot guarantee anything  Roll Eyes
28  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain and Economists on: April 07, 2018, 05:35:02 PM
The process will start by upgrading the local fiat currency to a blockchain based cryptocurrency, accompanied by tools like transfer, exchange, taxes, KYC, AML, reporting…

A currency as a cryptocurrency has many advantages and will — from my point of view — change economics fundamentally.

It definitely will. And not necessary in a positive way. Governments all over the world are trying to eliminate cash and shift residents to e-money (whether blockchain or bank-based). The motives behind these are simple
- Increased surveillance over what you do
- No leakage of tax revenues
- Implementation of policies like negative interest rate or demonetization

This is actually the diametric opposite of what decentralized cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin set out to achieve.
That is one aspect of what is expected to happen in the coming years. And right now it is all just dark n ambiguous and god knows when is the much awaited day of change gonna dawn upon this world. Change here is when the thinking and perceptions of people will change in this world and when they will accept the act that VIRTUAL is the new REAL!!
Here is the problem: traditional economists like the one that interviewed me, don’t take crypto serious “Sir, I covered the IMF and World Bank. I am an economist. Your idea will not work”. I rate him as a highly professional journalist and I was honored he contacted me. But these old-school economists must realize the earth is not any longer flat.
An economist cannot be expected to understand the blockchain technology, provided that he is not updated with the buzzing innovations happening around. And trust me, these traditional economists are least bothered with the virtual world because this doesn't interest them for a simple reason of governments not paying heed to this area!!
29  Economy / Economics / Re: its not about how much you invested, its when you should invest? on: April 07, 2018, 05:00:18 PM
It still matters since high risk = high reward and everyone here should be aware with the risks they're going in to because some users don't care until they start losing money. People who bought before when it was $10,000 can still recover by not selling any bitcoins they bought and instead look at the long term which ranges from a year to a decade. You need a little bit of everything to make it work, balance things out and gain profit.
That's the best thing that I've read today, BALANCE, it is a very important element to bring out everything in perfect harmony. It's all about managing the things well and bringing out a sync in them so that they work well. Here also the thing is not about what amount or what time, the point is how you manage to get yourself the maximum out of whatsoever you possess. So if you balance out everything well, you'll be able to grab the utmost satisfaction from whatsoever you do and whenever you do  Cheesy
30  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as your main income? on: April 07, 2018, 04:15:05 PM
In the end you will need to use bitcoin for something, even holders need at some point to convert btc to other asset with value and real world utility.
Yes that's true... BTC has to be used at some point or the other, but My friend, I think you're going off topic. Point here is whether to focus on technology or Bitcoin investment only!! What I feel is both the things are equally important. When we just keep a focus on the technology, forgetting the other aspect, that will not suffice the complete elements to conquer the race we are participating in!!
31  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin help poor children in underdeveloped countries? on: April 03, 2018, 07:31:42 PM
Illiteracy is the cause of poverty. We know a cup of coffee (Starbucks) = 20 notebooks, or a school bag, or two pairs of slippers for poor children in Vietnam.
Exactly...illiteracy is the root cause of many social evils and it is only due to illiteracy that most of the nations are still on the verge of development instead of being called as fully developed. When the nation is educated its human resources are developed and trust me developed human resource is an unmatched possession that a nation can have. So that is why many of the world organizations are working in this direction to promote education among the children to eradicate the  common social evils from their very root. In fact education is now considered as one of the basic needs of living along with food, clothing and shelter.
32  Economy / Economics / Re: Working smart vs working hard - an ultimate guide on: April 03, 2018, 07:09:42 PM
This is a sequel to this thread. If you are interested only in the fat of the thread and the cream of the theme, look no further than this and the second post here.

So share your opinions here, guys. What is your practical take on working smart?

practical take on working smart... umm...gotta think about this in that way...sounds interesting pretty much. I have always believed in working smart rather than hard. It has stronger implications than working hard. In the contemporary times, it's good for everyone that they explore and find out new methods to work smart and save their much valued tie in doing something constructive that can get them faster returns.

So from my life experience i can say that it's always better to focus on smart working rather than hard working.
33  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Breaking: China May Legalize ICO Soon on: April 03, 2018, 06:42:04 PM
Kindly go through this article from Forbes, this might clear much of your doubts regarding the legal status of bitcoin in China.

China is a country which has remained against bitcoin since times immemorial. And the acceptance of this fact to many is still hard for many to understand.

34  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: April 03, 2018, 06:18:07 PM
why is it ok for a group of people calling themselves the government to force everyone to buy their services?
if enough armed people refused to pay and told the government to go fuck itself there is nothing they could do.
What I feel is that you are questioning the entire concept and thoery of governance here. In a democratic country like ours, we the citizens are given the rights to choose the people who will govern us for our good. So there is n o question of being grabbed or forced by anyone in such a system because we are the free people of a free country. And we ourselves have given our consent to abide by the law of our country. So why back off now. Generally we all have a habit of cursing our leaders for doing nothing but when they take a step for our betterment, [people like us stand up and criticize their policies, which is of no good to anyone!!
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your crypto? on: April 03, 2018, 06:08:22 PM
I mostly mine and hodl, but my friend day trades and says I should start getting into it. What do you prefer to do and do you think there is a better route to take? I personally think it's all up to personal preference, I'm new though.
Yes you're right... as a matter of fact it's a subjective and personal choice. It varies from person to person. There are many factors that affects your decision of dealing in the crypto market. Majorly it depends on your risk taking capacity. If you are ready to take risks and accept whatever comes your way, then obviously you'd take a major leap and go for a huge investment. Mining is for those who can afford to have n maintain a reliable system that is secure n stable. While the job of a day trader demands proper attention and time of the person doing the job. See if you ask for a better route, it would be the one that is favourable to you the most.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter banned cryptocurrencies Ads on: March 27, 2018, 04:18:44 PM
Twitter will follow Google and Facebook's lead in banning cryptocurrency ads.

The ban will roll out Tuesday, and become fully enforceable for all advertisers within a month, including initial coin offerings and token sales.

It will also cover ads by cryptocurrency exchanges and cryptocurrency wallet services.

Is that a problem for bitcoin too or only ICO's ??
It can have an effect on the bitcoin prrice...obvoiusly any FUD that media creates has to have a bearing the prices of the crypto currencies. Also ICO's are definetely gonna get affected as it might affect the prices directly for the most obvious reasons.

Twitter has been a hub for the crypto advertisements and was much like the forum to promote the new offerings. So yes this ban will be affecting many ICOs. But sooner or later this was destined to happen because the regulators were keenly foolowing these scandals and their negative bearing. This had creaated a negative image in the minds of many people.
37  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Government on legalising bitcoins on: March 27, 2018, 04:01:37 PM
I strongly think that government should legalise bitcoin, because it may become a great revenue source for the goverment by imposing taxes of more than 30% and it can develop our country in so many ways.
Yeah you are right to a certain extent but if we think for ourselves...won't it be a loss for us?!!

I mean why would we pay taxes on our hard earned income in which government has no role to play. But governments have their own perspective relating to this matter. They do not see any benefit in legalizing the bitcoin.

Also we do not get any benefits from legalizing bitcoin. And development that you are talking about is not possible until government are ready to leave their corrupt practices.
38  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: New restricted financial products policy on: March 27, 2018, 03:10:00 AM
Google seems not much positive towards crypto-currency and ICO's advertisement. This is a thing to worry. After Fb, now google banning crypto-related ad. Twitter and forum are main source of advertisement of ICO's and other crypto related world.
That now seems the truth because of the recent outburst of media about this news. It has had a lot of impact on all of us as is seen from the repetitive threads being posted time n again on the forum. But yes that's for sure we have Twitter, we have this forum to serve those advertisement purposes. So right now it is not effecting us much for sure!!
39  Economy / Economics / Re: Cost of Living Comparison on: March 26, 2018, 11:26:52 AM
Cost of living is something everyone should consider and even more so for those of us who can make our living anywhere in the world, but there is more to life than just cost of living, you also have to consider how happy you will be in a certain place. If we look at the countries with the highest happiness ratings we'll often find that they are also among the happiest countries.
Yes you are right. Happiness is one of the basic qualitative characteristic that we use to compare the standard of living of different places. Apart from happiness there are many other indicators as well to compare the standard of living like safety, satisfaction and what not!! But what basically the matter here is the cost of living that is one of the quantitative characteristic to draw out comparisons between different places.

And yes this site is a good measure to get to draw out comparisons and will help you make a preliminary unless provided it remains updated with the latest updates, data n stats!!
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: German National Tourist Board will accept Bitcoin ? on: March 26, 2018, 10:53:15 AM
Petra Hedorfer, chair of the board of GNTB, explains: “Within our digitalisation strategy we continuously test newest technologies and trends to see if they could be useful for our company. Through accepting cryptocurrencies as a payment method and the possible medium-term implementation of the blockchain technology in our finance sector our international company wishes to set ourselves apart as an innovator and instigator within the tourism industry.”
(Source: http://www.tradearabia.com/news/BANK_338291.html )

This is a very strong statement and it shows how the acceptance of crypto currencies is soon becoming widespread and the day is not too far when such kind of realization would dawn upon every global organization. It shows that how people have started accepting the crypto network and they value the fact that it is a step ahead towards innovation and henceforth the furtherance of economic development of a nation.
