Merit added to the forum which is in my thinking is a great move by admin Theymos, but what about those guys who have multiple accounts already here they can easily create a new account and give merit to it? What about them and it will be unfair to that person who will just come here to learn and read the queries about Bitcoin will get no rank?
However, I am in the side of Merit. I like that idea personally.
Do u have any idea that they trace who's selling merit points? |

I guess if peopole start selling it they are going to get some bad trust from Lauda. So, it's highly unlikely. some people might scam other members here. |

Bitcoin will increase to 20K again, no doubt about that. The market is indecisive at the moment, because of the rumours of China and Korea banning cryptocurrencies and Germany and France wanting to have regulations. Also issues like high fees and long waiting times do not make bitcoin a useful currency. But once these problems are solved with the Lightning Network, the price will increase again and may even reach 30K.
There's a good news because china is planning to allow bitcoin again in their country. |

Does it matter if they have merits even they are newbies? Anyone here can send merits to someone because they want to. As of now, I dont fully understand whats the use of merits in this forum because I havent read the announcement yet. But if it does not affect your rank activity in this forum just let them be. and they can sell it too  |

So I think this merit mechanism is unfair, because it would allow those legendary or heroic users to profit from the merit mechanisms, and not to upgrade those who can not afford it.

People would say lots of things, but bitcoin will never hit $1 million dollar. It just doesn't make sense, because there are more coin coming with better technology. So bitcoin is not alone and the demand for other coin is going up slowly. What i see bitcoin might go highest $50k within 2 years. That would be max i believe.
I think $50k is too much?haha |

i think bitcoin will rise again,up to 1M in december hahaha,because last year bitcoin rised to 1M in december.
if there are no bad news about bitcoin, why not. in cryptocurrency anything can be happen. it depend markets but i can't wonder what will happen to economy of the world if bitcoin reach that price Maybe bitcoin price is down because soms countries banned bitcoin? |

What do you mean mining will ever stop? Your bitcoin mining will stop only if you invested in site that can stand only in 20-30 days.there's a legit mining site like hashflare,minergate.

They will not dissapear they will support the bitcoin to accept bitcoin transaction because so many bank in my country is not accepting bitcoin transaction only in western union,palawan etc..

Maybe a lot of people are already planning how to buy and sell Merit!
Most of the responses are difficult to get Merit, which is a very real problem!
One of the biggest problems is how to upgrade!
This new system might not be entirely fair at all, others will agree to give merits to each other am sure of that, the old system was very good in my opinion and sometimes change isn’t that good. Well you're right.i hope merit system will remove because it can cause problems to othere's. |

I Think this merit system will bring a good result for justifying the writing quality. It will also be useful for selecting for the purpose of the signature campaign. So that Merit system will bring a positive result in this system. I think this is a fantastic initiative for this Bitcointalk platform.
Well new merit system isn't good for me.they might sell their merit to newbies without doing anything and in there's so many scammer now. |
