Ethereum Surges 15% to New Historic High, Trading Over $1,800 in South Korea

The post Ethereum Surges 15% to New Historic High, Trading Over $1,800 in South Korea appeared first on CCN
The price of Ether, the native cryptocurrency of Ethereum, has surged by more than 15 percent overnight, achieving a new all-time high at $1,266.
That sounds crazy. In this bull market all tokens are going crazy, and I'm sure Ethereum will get to $2,000.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCash hold or sell ? on: January 08, 2018, 07:43:46 AM
if you think you can sell it now and switch to NXT, some forums that I read NXT will grow very high this year.

However, the NXT team is now working on a new project, so NXT may not be a good option.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safest Alternative to Hardware Wallet? on: January 08, 2018, 07:42:39 AM
Make a paper wallet. Just make sure that the link for creation you are accessing is secure, for that check out this useful article: https://www.thesslstore.com/blog/5-ways-to-determine-if-a-website-is-fake-fraudulent-or-a-scam/.

If you want some extra safety, use Armory or Electrum or similar wallet that allows creation of private keys offline. Keep this wallet on the computer that is never connected to the internet. Sign transactions on this computer, and transfer the data to the internet through another, online computer. This way you will be broadcasting only your wallet number and there will be no chance for anyone to steal your key (he/she would need to access that particular computer locally).

Electrum is called as one of the safest wallet but it faced big issue of people stealing their funds we can get those info on the top of our forum too.So I can't say electrum is safest to store our bitcoins. The best ever wallet is hardware wallets and it can store multiple crypto currencies and uses segwit addresses too.But still people don't want to use hardware wallets.
Any way your bitcoin will be safe untill you keep your private keys in offline drive and never store private keys electronically it is best to write on a paper.
That's not necessarily because Electrum just broke a hole a few days ago to steal your password, so it could be dangerous.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get in on an ICO if you're in the United States? on: January 08, 2018, 07:41:40 AM
Hi All, I see that a lot of ICO's require that you provide your passport and that you cannot be from the U.S.   Anyone have an idea on how to get around this?  Anyone use a template and just photoshop their photo onto a passport?
Buying a VPN is a good way to avoid these problems, and you can participate in an ICO without KYC.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will destroy? on: January 08, 2018, 07:40:04 AM
I've been worrying about the impact of quantum computing opportunities on bitcoin, and if the impact is huge, it could be dangerous Roll Eyes
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin only an advantage ? on: January 08, 2018, 07:34:50 AM
I have perused in the news that that like bitcoin as virtual monetary forms are resources and does not have the attributes or what it takes to be a cash that could meet our cutting edge financial necessities. It was said that it doesn't have the major characteristics. What are your considerations about it?
As more and more countries admit it, bitcoin has a role to play, and bitcoin has the same value as gold.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin online payments on: January 08, 2018, 07:31:16 AM
When will the youtube and other websites start to pay us with bitcoin?
Perhaps it will take a long time to come to fruition because bitcoin is not stable enough, and the fees are too expensive.

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Claiming bitcoin diamond and superbitcoin easily on: January 07, 2018, 09:17:09 AM
Thanks for sharing, but I usually put my BTC on the exchange, and they'll help me deal with these forks, Grin
most exchanges does not give bitcoin diamond. which exchange you are using?
i am using binance and they did not give me diamond
Binance will get you all the forks, but not all of them can be traded on binance. But Binance is still a good exchange.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO researching on: January 07, 2018, 09:15:22 AM
Im currently researching which ICO's may become a good investment.

Would anyone like to suggest any that they think are going to be the star of 2018?
You should go to the ANN thread to learn about the tokens of each upcoming ICO, so you can find potential projects that will make you rich.

33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Asia on: January 07, 2018, 09:12:12 AM
Hey,
I just saw a blog http://www.w11stop.com/blog-w11stop/bitcoin-w11stop related to bitcoin and wanted to know is it acceptable in Asia?

Thank You
Bitcoin investments are popular in South Korea and Japan because of Chinese law, so now Chinese investors can only trade privately.

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any platforms to help manage bounty programs? on: January 07, 2018, 09:09:24 AM
The current method of managing bounty programs is long and tedious. Does anyone know of a platform to help manage bounties? Thanks.
You can look for a golden thread manager to manage the bounty thread, but you need to pay some compensation.

There will be fewer and fewer altcoin when the laws are introduced in every country. This is my opinion.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex alternative? on: January 07, 2018, 09:04:50 AM
Binance is now the largest platform for altcoin trading, and Binance has also closed new users' registrations.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Money on: January 06, 2018, 07:40:35 AM
But there is no denying that there is a lot of speculation, and if the future of cryptocurrency can be replaced by fiat money, then the bubble needs to be eliminated.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in cryptocurrency and ICOs? on: January 06, 2018, 07:38:26 AM
Should I invest in cryptocurrency and ICOs?
I think you can invest some BTC and ETH, invest 1-2 ICO, do not contact altcoin, then you will lose money.
