I think it's pretty much leaked in the scammer thread. Close anyway
Oh, I just had a read - Very interesting. Good luck to everyone involved, I'll write my BTC off now and assume I'm never seeing it again.

I've come to the conclusion we are all fucked, I hope TF has tight lipped friends because if his identity is leaked it won't be pretty... *EDIT* Just to be clear, I wasn't attempting to be threatening but I imagine some people are lot angrier than I am at present

"next Week" watch, day 2
Last week He said we'd hear "next week". Tuesday is almost gone and no word.
I have some insider information: It's currently Wednesday, past midday in Australia.

Has anyone received any emails this week so far? Also TF, are you going to send them to everyone at once or in batches?
Of course he hasn't told anyone actual helpful information.

Just received most of what I had deposited on October 27th, the day after the hack was discovered. It wasn't a lot of coin, but it was to me, and I salute TF's efforts. Immediate responsiveness, contrasted with Roman/bitfloor.
As I have said in another thread, while I am angry at how this happened, I am not accusing TF of being a scammer. I've always told my kids that making a mess is regrettable, but leaving it is really bad. TF seems to be trying to clean up. I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, and I remain hopeful at this time that I won't lose the larger amount in Coinlenders.
I mostly agree with this assessment. TF is honest and will do the best he can. His reputation up to this point has been very good. I'm always amazed by how quickly the cynicism surfaces and the accusations fly at the first sign of something going wrong. Something going wrong in this case equals over 1 million dollars worth of bitcoin being left accessible online... Oh you know, nothing to worry about - bloody cynics.

I don't understand how people who made deposits to inputs (then onto coinlenders) well after the attack are out money. The amount has been withdrawn in full by other users. There was a limit designed to prevent much of that, but it was per transaction and people got around it. Then this puts coinlender customers in the same camp as the inputs customers. We should be included in this same pool and not be handled at a later time. (unless there are other coinlender-specific assets in play, like incoming funds from outstanding loans, etc). I don't understand this either. Hopefully an explanation will hit us very soon...

Inputs is dead and you'll need to find a new service provider. I don't recommend storing any Bitcoins accessible on computers connected to the internet.
What about CoinLenders? Is that dead too? Just received an email about my coinlenders coins. Hi,
This claim involves CoinLenders which will be handled soon. Due to major hacks, Inputs does not have enough BTC to repay everyone fully which has also affected CoinLenders. If you have had balance shown on Inputs.io, we're dividing up the coins we do have left based on a sliding scale, and have sent it to the specified address. On your Inputs account, your balance should have flipped to the negative to indicate you've received a refund.
We apologize sincerely for the lost Bitcoins. It's been a very hard lesson for us, and we're sorry that we have to pass it onto our users. Please respond to the email if you have any queries. That e-mail doesn't make any sense... "Users of coinlenders are also effected (read: fucked) but only users of inputs are currently getting any BTC returned."

Since TeamFortress will not answer my emails. I guess I have to post a message on here.
I have asked, what exactly is going on with our funds? Is everyone getting a refund at some point in time or is all our coins gone? I didn't lose anything but I would like my funds released. Is inputs.io dead? Do I need to find a new service provider? Simple questions that should be answered. Stop ignoring these questions and give us an answer please.
I assume you've logged in to your inputs.io account to see your balance still there? That doesn't necessarily mean the bitcoin actually exist within TradeFortress' possession.

I have lost around 5 BTC due to the hack, I have the utmost respect for TF and believe he will do the right thing.
So you've followed these instructions? "If you stored more than 1 BTC, send an email to support@inputs.io with a Bitcoin address (preferably, an offline, open source light/SPV wallet like Multibit or Electrum). Use the same email you're using on Inputs."

Let me know the BTC wallet address for the 'Find TradeFortress' fund.

Brisbane bitcoin user reporting in!

I do have to ask before going any further, your forum account has 14 posts now.... Do you have another forum account? Did you not have questions in regards to bitcoin/mining at any point when setting up your farm?

I can offer as much verifiable information as possible. Collateral. If you are in Australia we can meet in person.
Are you in Brisbane or ever there for travel?

For the $7500, you will receive a return of $8500 paid over 6 months (monthly @ $1416.00 per month), as well as 20% of all Bitcoin mined, paid out daily or weekly for the life of the operation.
So regardless of how the business venture goes the person who provides the loan will receive $8500 back over the next six months?

Love the idea. How would AUD work on these (if at all)?

Uh, I actually am not a technical trader, and I have never played a short-term movement on AM. I don't know how many times I have to say it: my issue with AM is with its fundamentals, not its share price momentum. I was bearish long before AM started going down (that's how I own options - people were willing to sell them to me). But none of this changes the fact that the previous strong support at 2.4 evaporated in all of 5 minutes. I may be a fundamental investor but I'm not blind. (You are right, however - it did belong in the speculation thread.) And happy friedday those dividends were quite strong. There is a speculation thread for all these posts, give that one a go - you'll get a better response/conversation going. ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=235763.0) Cheers

Done! We have deployed the feature just now. You can choose to place buy or sell orders in both AUD and BTC. In most cases you should get the exact amount, but fluctuations can also happen in which case you can always cancel and create the order again. (This is a tricky feature to implement because Filler and Checkout platforms are entirely independent and they don't trust each other.) Thanks!
Personally I don't find the new implementation very helpful. It'd be nice to be able to figure out the conversion rate without clicking the 'request quote' button. On other websites I am able to input BTC or AUD and immediately find out what I am going to be purchasing and for how much before clicking any submit buttons or making any actual deposits.
