Great suggestion Use Awesome Miner, its have profit autoswitching and a lot more External Profit Switching (for ASIC's and Antminers) Awesome Miner will not add or change any pools on the miner. The profit switcher will only look at the pools already defined on the miner and change the priority of them. The priority is set based on profitability. The profitability of the pool must be known to Awesome Miner, either by using one of the supported multi-pools or by using a coin listed on the Coins tab. Seems a bit limited for the cost. I like the monitoring aspects, but I'm not sure this profit switching makes a difference for my D3s Exactly! I am using "Prohashing" which has auto-switching to mine most profitable coin, so I don't need to pay for a software to do this for me, although the GUI of "Awesome Miner" is, well, awesome!

Thanks for the update Blissz! I will check it later today... For all those overclocking their D3s: The increase in profits with overclocking vs electricity usage is generally mutually exclusive! Unless you have free or extremely cheap electricity, you won't gain much with overclocking because you will use more electricity. Also, pushing the miner to its limits and let it run like this for a prolonged periods of time might cause it to fail completely! It is much better to reduce the hashing rate a little while reducing energy consumption a lot (and here is where Blissz's version shines!). I you want to check what makes sense for you, use this site to calculate the most profitable X11 hashrate vs power usage for your location, taking into consideration your local electricity price: https://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency Select X11 only and de-select other algorithms. Here is an example for 16Gh hashing rate / 780 Wh. electricity usage / 0.10 cents per kWh electricity price: The result appears like this (Bitcoin is always there for compasrison):

if you have an other l3+ you need to extract the hexa file from PIC (eeprom programmer), and manually write it to hasboard of bad one... i did the same i think but not sure Roll Eyes

i will send mine back to bitmain , i may try tomorrow to copy the pic.txt from l3+ firmware to the d3 and flash again with it ... may be only d3 write PICs at flash

This is probably due to the way the fans are pushing the air through the body of the miner, which causes more air to flow to one side, affecting the other side where the 3rd chain is located. 77 deg. is ok, but I would not let it run 24/7. The highest temp. I would run any of my D3 miners on a 24/7 basis is 75 deg. C. and even then, one would get more HW errors than with lower temperatures.

Hi, I can also confirm the xxxxx problem on 2 of my D3s. 2 boards fell out with full xxxxx line. On both I was using Lowest voltage/431/Fan on auto.

A huge thank you for your great work @Blissz! Amazing what you have achieved in this short time! I am more than happy to donate 1,50% of my hashrate for you! I have now uploaded your 18.11 firmware to 3 of my D3 miners (mid-October batch with 19GH default). For me the fan noise is no problem as my miners are in a closed room in the cellar, but the voltage reduction is what makes this worthwhile to use! It can literally be the difference between losses and gains for me. One of my D3 miners has a very unbalanced hashrate among the 3 boards, and for a miner like this, it would be great to add board specific voltage/frequency tuning as somebody else has suggested earlier in this thread. Anyway, here are the results for my miners. The one on the top is the one that has unbalanced boards.
