@blissz what about making your dev pool run once a day instead of breaking the hash cycle once an hour?  It would probably yield better results for you too..

Yes it would be a bit better for all of us on the long runs, but for now I have to let it run on the dev pool after a power cycle / restart as I can't detect if it mined for me  it mined for me after a power cycle. That would mean that during "tweaking" of the miner it would relatively mine a bit more for me instead of for you.
 
Maybe a good compromise would be to choose a period of 2 or 4 hours. Any suggestions?

Yes... one other thing that I noticed is when i'm making changes it resets the clock so every time I make a change it runs your pool first.  So if I have a couple changes to do for testing the dev pool keeps running back to back each time.

I'm successfully compile (for build test, not for any changes testing) without any modification a cgminer from bitmaintech fork (under ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS).
File size about 843 kb. TopicStarter, why your cgminer in your custom firmware is so bigger?!
Can you show flags you used for building, may be some is not needed for D3..

 i have so much problems with the 19.3 batches. The errors come with the original firmware. I  tested yours.

This is hearsay, but I just heard from a friend who is waiting for 3 D3's that his client ordered, (December batch as far as I know) that after they contacted Bitmain complaining about the D 3 situation, Bitmain offered too keep their money in credit and they can then order other machines next year when available and only pay the difference, if there is any.

He will send me the mail from Bitmain as soon as he receives it from his client.

As I said this is hearsay at the moment.

Where is default webpage source codes ? which source codes should i look ? is it located in "cgminer-dash-master" source codes ?
As i understand  antminer's main board is a beagleboard black and , so as i understand cgminer should be just an application on it.
And firmware source belongs to the just cgminer , is this correct ?
To add new menu web page we need to modify beaglebone black firmware to modify web pages which belongs to gui ?

D3 and profitable? No sir, that's not even remotely true.
With another 50K miner to comes online, best bet is to shutdown your miner.

What OP did is at least u can still turn on your miner, make some tiny profit, by reducing the power consumption. Not everyone are having cheap electricity.

Instructions:
Recommended, set the miner frequency at 400mhz and set your fan speed manual at 25% before flashing.
Flash by going to "System" -> "Upgrade" -> "Flash new firmware image"
After flashing, check the advanced settings page and start at the lowest voltage setting and 400mhz. From there increase your frequency to see how high you can go at the lowest voltage setting.

Changes 18/11:
- fixes the pool priority, it will now mine on your own backup pools when your first pool goes down.
- Dev fee lowered to 1,5% (it was actually 1,66%)

Changes 17/11:
- fixes the high fan speed when switching to the dev pool and back to your main pool
- fixes the close PIC and need reboot!!! error on the original bitmain firmware
- Made the ASIC default voltage less confusing as it is now comparable to the default bitmain voltage.
- Lowered the AUTO profile fan RPM's a little bit.


know issues:
when using the AUTO fan profile, the fan starts at a too high RPM after powering up.

It's really experimental so here are the terms:
- I am not responsible for any damage to your miner, flash at your own risk
- You're not going to complain about the 1.5% mining fee.

what you will get:
- saves upto 20% energy consumption on lowest voltage setting so it runs your miner cooler / save energy costs.
- in the lowest voltage setting you can run this miner really silent now.
- no more high speed fan's during startup on fixed fan mode
- no more low fan warnings (the fan speed is fully unlocked).
- no more temperature reading errors / reboots
- a first version of the unlocked voltage. It's possible to both undervolt and overvolt. I advice to set it to the lowest possible setting and increase the frequency until you get HW errors. Then you found the sweetspot of your miner.
- possibility to flash back to the default bitmain firmware.



Some startup settings to get you going:


for silence and best efficiency / miner lifetime (my personal preference)

Expected hashrate: 15Mh/s to 17 Mh/s
Expected power usage: 700 - 780 watt

set the frequency at "400mhz", set the voltage to "lowest". Now slowly increase the frequency until you see HW errors. When you have a few HW errors an hour you found the sweet spot
set the fan speed manual somewhere between 20 - 30 percent. Chip temp should be somewhere between 75 - 80 degrees max.

For stock performance at lowest possible power usage

Expected hashrate: 18-5Mh/s to 19Mh/s
Expected power usage: 950 - 1100 watt

set the fan speed manual to 50% (adjust this later to your needs. Max chip temp should be 85 deg)
set the frequency at "525mhz", set the voltage to "15". Now decrease the voltage until you see HW errors. When you have a few HW errors an hour you found the sweet spot

For Extreme performance (this is not recommended for 24/7 usage)

Expected hashrate: 21Mh/s
Expected power usage: 1300 - 1400 watt

set the fan speed manual to 100% (adjust this later to your needs. Max chip temp should be 85 deg)
set the frequency at "600mhz", set the voltage to "20". Now decrease the voltage until you see HW errors. When you have a few HW errors an hour you found the sweet spot

Listen CryptoWatcher420.... Blissz is trying to help us make our D3 miners profitable, contrary to "Bitmain" who flooded the market with a miner that became unprofitable before the buyers even received it!
"Shitmain" is in fact the one we need to sue for stealing our money and delivering a useless hair-dryer instead of a miner! We are happy to support Blissz with a small fee for his efforts, if you don't like this, then don't use his firmware!
