21  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips to actually start earning from Trading & END LOSES on: May 18, 2019, 05:48:13 AM
It's hard not to trade on emotions but you have to remember this is a game and we have to always look forward, don't look backwards once a trade is executed. Little profit is not a bad word my friends, be contented of a the small amounts you gained. It is better  safe +10% than a wannabe +100% of no assurance, people are just greedy sometimes but can't blame them, we are human after all.
Being in greedy will never have a good result but instead, it mostly ended up into losing. Ain't that really bad if we go for emotion trading if we know our mistakes and even recognized our limits. It sometimes I used to have my instinct will play in trading and it is quite some time that it will work well.
Kinda inside voice trading. It is boring to trade with a fixed strategy and money management. Sometimes, for adding more fun to trading I increase the leverage or take margin from trade. Depending on the trade expectation, profit/loss ratio is managed by fixed rules in my personal trading journey.
I don't think you need to mess your trading plans and strategies like making an increase in margin trade or leverage just to make you fun, a passionate trader will certainly be fun with whatever plans they make, whether fixed strategy or something like that. I don't blame you if you're boring, but it looks like you don't enjoy every process in trading
I think you will only be an earning trade when you actually try to trade for money rather than just trading to fulfill your adrenaline rush. Even if that's a case then better take a pretty small account with something which you can obviously afford to lose. But yes then it comes to even serious trading even a fixed strategy may tend to lose its effectiveness due to some financial catalysts in play which might make your setup less efficient over long time. In such a case better start to experiment by deviating very lightly from your strategy. Moreover what I have seen with passage of years is that Emotion does plays a role in trading like it's the fear of losing capital only that will help you follow rules of trading much more religiously. And obviously increasing leverage exponentially can obviously affect the risk/reward ratios
Some traders do not use fixed strategy, they use a strategy that is flexible or without plans and fix targets, which they think can be much more fun and not boring and certainly makes their adrenaline peak. even though trading is about money, they can lose if they are not serious about trading.
22  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: start trading again carefully and don't be too ambitious to get big profits ...! on: May 18, 2019, 05:26:53 AM
That's true. We could set a target goal and aim for the best but we should not be greedy because it could mislead us and might ruin our strategy. We should focus on gaining a reasonable profit. If you're a smart trader, you could still gain a good profit no matter what the situation of the market is.
greedy could make our trades messy.the profits that we collected in previous trades could be losses and ofcourse we will regret with our strategy.focusing in our target and don't changes it will help us to survive.
Without goals and targets, then what will you pursue in trading? trade is not a place to play or have fun. Thats natural if you want to make big profits in trading, everyone wants to be rich from trade, but that does not mean it will destroy your plan, people who have big targets do not mean he is greedy, all you have to do is have good plans and strategies to achieve your dreams. do not get carried away when the market falls, don't be greedy when the price rises, you should remains in accordance with the plan
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you buy a coffee using BTC during current times? on: May 18, 2019, 05:08:37 AM
First of all for now, 30 cents worth of BTC was enough for me to get confirmation approximately in 10 minutes. Also, such things as LN are designed to simplify such "coffee transactions". And this solution becomes pretty popular.
The other question is that why should you pay those $2-3 in BTC while there is a chance that tomorrow it could become a $4 worth of BTC? At this point it seems much easier to pay in cash.
Thats the mindset of investors lol. many users prefer to use bitcoin for investment rather than for currency, they can get a greater value the next day than to spend their bitcoin. I think that's a different problem.

Let's focus at  side the user of bitcoin as a currency not an investor. Of course LN is very useful for all of us for the speed of transactions. of course I will use bitcoin if fee and speed confirmation are good enough for me
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH pottential 10X or more? on: May 17, 2019, 03:11:17 PM
Well in the condition of ethereum right now I think there's a chance that it will be more 10x price in the future, as we can see the price now is continously to increase and I think is great to buy now because I feel that ethereum will be continues to grow this year and will have new ATH.
This is just your personal prediction because really ETH is not as strong as before and the demand for selling ETH is increasing very high in recent days so it will be difficult for this coin to return to the price highest . I think now is the time when people should consider selling because the market will soon have a big correction and ETH will soon return to $150 before the new price increase begins. It is possible that people believe in ETH development team but I personally care only about the profit that this coin makes.
I think all crypto is not as strong as before if you compare it to 2017. Of course the market is much worse today, but that doesn't mean the development is getting worse. Yeah the conditions are indeed different, marketcaps are much lower, active investors are far less, but new users are far more numerous. And when the trend has changed, when it becomes bullish, I'm sure conditions and prices will be much better than 2017
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency user friendly? on: May 17, 2019, 02:33:10 PM
As for me, it's user-friendly but there are just some areas where you should have the eagerness to learn about. People would not have it in terms of investment and mode of payment if it isn't user-friendly. It's causing too much convenience and the blockchain technology is even making things in the finance area lighter. Sometimes, we are thinking that cryptocurrency itself is not easy to use but it sometimes depends on the wallets that we're using.
For its own internal use, how do transactions from 1 address to another address, 1 wallet to another wallet, exchange it to fiat, or another altcoin. it was very satisfying. but for its use as a currency and payment method, many people will certainly differ in opinion, bitcoin is still far from users friendly for payment #IMO
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Believe it or not! XRP Will Go Past $4 on: May 17, 2019, 01:55:11 PM
See still we don't have any clue how far the price of Bitcoin will rally but people have already started predicting the price of all other coins. Before reaching the 4$ mark the price of XRP should cross it's previous high value of 3$. So it will take a lot of time, but with the supply, it has it is a very tough job to cross the value of more than 3$.
Supply of XRP is the biggest obstacle that makes this coin very difficult to raise prices in the future. I think if Ripple team can think of a better solution, they should buy this coin to burn and XRP can be stable in the long run. In my opinion, achieving the price of $ 0.4 this year can be considered a huge success because XRP has finally been able to raise prices during the past few months. Hopefully this uptrend will last until the end of this year so I can sure that achieving $1 is possible.

Its crypto supply is no longer an issue, just check most altcoins/tokens have billions of supply but it is mostly being traded.
I would love ripple to reach that value since i have 5k worth of bags waiting for a good pump  Grin
Supply will not be a problem if total users is very big, but of course the total supply will affect the price that will occur. XRP prices have almost touched $4 in 2017 when it's bullish. to reach that price again, of course we need far greater market conditions than 2017? Could it be?
27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What importance is kyc In gambling section on: May 17, 2019, 12:44:19 PM
Know your customer (kyc) is one security measure I support and do not hesitate to fill-in all my kyc required details. KYc is being used by exchanges, ico project some bounty managers etc.
But is kyc really needed in gambling section. I experienced a very hectic kyc procedure when trying to register onto a gambling site with them telling me they would get back to me after some day so I wonder what if I got a pressing game I needed to play immediately.
In my own opinion kyc is not of major importance in gambling section. What do you guys think
What a strange idea! regardless of security and any benefits resulting from KYC. it won't mean anything to me. many countries prohibit gambling, even prison is a punishment for the players, KYC will only make players exposed, and it will certainly be very vulnerable to be caught by the police if the data is spread, moreover I'm sure many players using crypto to gambling because they like anonymously
28  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will go a bit down, ALTS a lot down, then BTC again a lot up on: May 17, 2019, 09:59:56 AM
I'm not skeptic of the potential bull run but that's how we see the market, there will be some upcoming correction or maybe just few dips. Just be prepared with whatever's coming to the market, whenever the market rises up expect that it won't last that long but if that lasts long then it's totally increasing it's more dominant favorable for the bulls. Like the comment that I've read before commenting here, we need to wait the reaction of the market when Binance allows orders again.
Of course we would be a little think that a bull run probably happen, but what happens now certainly makes our hopes fade, the increase price is not more dominant, the price increase does not last for a long time, it means bullrun has not happened yet. correction still often occurs like happened today. OP was right, the price will drop by a few percent, so does the altcoin, and it will probably rise again afterwards.
The good thing is we got chance to re-buy
29  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull or bull trap on: May 17, 2019, 09:20:02 AM
Today it looks like both to me. Either we will continue the rise to $8700 or something like that, or the market will reverse and we are going to retest some of the previous levels. You have to decide which one of these options is going to happen for yourself. I know this post of mine is of no use to you, but I myself am in the same dilemma. I just recently exited a trade I had, and now, like you, I'm wondering should I go long or short?

Just to be clear, I hope for a continuation of the bullish run.
Many people experience confusion now, why don't you see the market and see if prices will fall or go back up? or at least you can sell half of it to recover because of your previous loss? there are many strategies and plans that you can choose.
I'm sure a lot of people will sell when they think the price is already high enough, and of course the falling price will definitely happen, as happened today. many people sell when the price breaks through $8k as I'm predicted. my advice if you go for short then sell it if you have seen a high price, dont let that chance gone
30  Economy / Economics / Re: Price of goods goes up, salary never goes up!!! on: May 17, 2019, 08:20:03 AM

Over the past 30 years, salary never goes up, I know because I saw the salary today is same as my first salary 30 years ago, I’m not disclosing my age, so don’t be too paranoia, but the price of everything goes up thru the roof, the only person who salary goes up are (ikr, salary must kept secret because it is case sensitive, don’t tell anyone else!), ok, enough rant! Try to tell your kids to work for a salary in the future, I think they could barely afford a piece of beard!!

End of story! Ciao!
LOL, let me guess your age using your username. I think you are 46 years old. I don’t really think this is true of every country, each country with their own way of operation and the type of organization you are working with, is it a government organization or a private organization.

In my country, your salary must increase according to your progress and grade, promotion is being done like every 2 to 3 years, and once you pass that promotion, you get promoted with packages increasing too. Private organizations also does this a lot of time, I guess it is time you change the organization you work for.
I'm a little hesitant about what you say, every company is monitored by the government. and every company must obey the rules in each region in that country. in my own country, almost every year the government issues new regulations for regional minimum salaries. and every company must follow the rules. so I don't think it's possible for 30 years that you haven't had a salary rise, while the country's economy has definitely changed from that time, I don't know it's the company's fault or you
31  Economy / Economics / Re: How can Bitcoin reduce global economic inequality? on: May 17, 2019, 06:34:44 AM
Bitcoin and the whole blockchain industry offers a new way of globalization. It reduces inequality because it solves inefficiencies in the economic model that already exists. For example, the remote working model gives the opportunity to anyone that lives in countries with high unemployment rates to find a job remotely and make a living.
Social inequality that occurs, the main problem is not just unemployment. even if you give them a job, will the inequality will disappear? of course not, rich people will still make millions of dollars per month, and other people in the same city just can make $500 or less in one month.
In my opinion we cannot make the inequality disappear, but we can make the economic system fair for everyone, for example the cost of electricity will be different for the poor and the rich, the rich must pay more expensivce than the poor. the price must be adjusted to the each of economy class, and that is done in my country.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Winter: Can We Prevent it From Happening Again? on: May 17, 2019, 06:25:09 AM
I am wondering, do you think the same bitcoin winter can occur after the bull run? And can there be things that can prevent it from happening? Will history just repeat itself?
With huge price rises comes price consolidation, which is pretty much inevitable regardless of what kind of markets. So, yes.

And can there be things that can prevent it from happening? Will history just repeat itself?
Nothing. Unless for some reason you could convince everyone to not sell after a huge bull market trend.
Of course it is impossible to stop and convince millions of investors to not sell. they come and invest to see prices rise high, and when that happens they will sell it to make a profit. we won't be able to avoid that, that's how the market works. it can't be bullish forever? corrections will definitely occur, and mass sell will definitely happen, because many people want to make a profit for themselves
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: Explain the cause of Bitcoin 'not coming down' on: May 17, 2019, 06:12:21 AM

What is happening with China and USA can certainly affect the movement of Bitcoin. it is quite possible that investors are looking for a good alternative where to stake their money with and provide some safe haven...and Bitcoin is one of the most viable alternatives for now. Another contributing factor is that we are now entering the FOMO stage where investors big and small do not want to miss the bull ride. This can increase the speculations on bitcoin which in turn can help it solidify its position for more upswing moves. In the next few days and weeks, there can be some good news on the horizon that can influence the movement of bitcoin and the more that institutional money can be coming in. We can soon be in a frenzy with many influencers speaking positive reviews on bitcoin and even other cryptocurrencies too.
I think that might happen, the volume of bitcoin market in china  has increased rapidly, while the yuan exchange rate has decreased. maybe a lot of people there want to secure the value of their assets from a trade war between China and America. and one of the easiest ways is to buy bitcoin. then with the high demand at that time, making FOMO in the market, many investors re-entered and bought and it made a double effect, thus making the bitcoin and crypto market rise rapidly
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoin growth too slow? on: May 15, 2019, 03:30:23 PM
Yes it's a bit different from 2017, altcoin growth is too slow if it compared with bitcoin growth.

I guess it's because most of crypto users prefer focus on bitcoin than altcoins. Altcoin is still go up though but not much as bitcoin. I believe altcoin will catch up with bitcoin later.
of course it's different, I don't expect that the price changes will be the same as in 2017. You have to know that the price changes for each altcoin are certainly different every year. moreover the market conditions certainly affect, in 2017 we are in the glorious day, the price of bitcoin skyrocketed high, and crypto is in bullish, of course we see the altcoin price is very good at that time, but comparing it with this year, there will be significant inequality.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Consensus pump is real on: May 15, 2019, 03:12:08 PM
We reached $8000 in the past few days leading to the conference. I remember last year everyone was hopeful about it, but the bear market spared no one. This time we have Bakkt announcements and all kinds of stuff I saw outlined here: https://cryptobriefing.com/nobody-will-sell-bitcoin-8000/

It's probably going to correct a bit, but the rise is real.
Ugh.. I thought that Bitcoin price has significantly increased its price with no reason, now this news came out and you think this is the reason behind the increasing price of Bitcoin. Don't you know that this positive trend has started from end of march? It means that this news is not the only reason. Perhaps some parties already knew that Bitcoin will have a good news this month so they start to buy since a month ago.
Of course there is always a reason why market prices rise and fall, there is always a reason behind someone to sell or buy, that is market law. Prices always move to follow the trend, and trends occur for certain reasons. if you see the price of bitcoin rising naturally for a reason, not just one reason but there are many reasons.
when market conditions continue to be in a positive condition or  positive trend for at least a long period of time, then all users certainly agreed that we are in a bull run
36  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Defending your profits without timing the market on: May 15, 2019, 01:03:52 PM
I believe Op is the shorting type. I can see he is shaky and indecisive to wait longer  Grin well it is understanding when you have been at losing end since price was bear. I would wait longer and I think that is how the market is going.
In few hours we are seeing another huge bull movement on the price of bitcoin so yes we need to wait more for more profits.

Looks like this is just the beginning at the end we will see the current price as nothing.
That's ongoing right now, we are continuing to see the bull really making everything up, Bitcoin or any Alts needs to be reassess as you'll going to regrets everything if you failed to follow what trend will be in the next few days or weeks, think for much higher outcome.
but securing profits is important too, we must have a backup plan, for example if the price falls back, at least you already have 30% of the profit you save.
but many people seem dare to take big risks. many people think that the greater the risk, the greater the reward that will be obtained
37  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What trading strategy do you guys use? on: May 15, 2019, 11:22:07 AM
I think that depends on the market situation, and the amount of capital that each trader has. if the owner of a large capital I think daily trading can be done with a profit of 2-10%. Long-term trading can also be combined with daily trading by holding coins stable and having large volumes.
Scalping techniques are fast trading, and you have to monitor them at all times.
Indeed, of course the strategy will depend on conditions, so you cannot target profits like 2% -10%, instead of more profits than you can adjust your strategy to market conditions. if condition market is bullish of course we will hold more and more wait until the highest price before price falls to sell it. that's the strategy that I'm doing right now, waiting for a signal when the price will fall, by seeing the candlestick on the graph.
38  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on the way to $10,000 on: May 15, 2019, 09:22:18 AM
I've been prepared to see $10,000 as soon as possible and it can actually go out earlier than we're expecting. And that can happen only if this run will be continue.

I hope this happened and I wish all the holdlers, happy profits!!!
Don't forget about it, just took some profits awhile ago.  Tongue
Agree, looking at the current market conditions where prices can rise $1000 in just one day, of course $10k is not a difficult thing.
but we have to consider other factors also, such as holders and long-term investor, they might sell when they see prices high enough, that would be a barrier for bitcoin to continue to rise. but if demand is more strong, of course any obstacles can be overcome. Most importantly don't be afraid when prices fall, it's only temporary and prices will continue climb up, I'm sure $10.000 will occur this month.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should hold or sold BNB ? on: May 15, 2019, 07:36:05 AM
hi guys
i bought some BNB at 0.00295 but i heard
that after withdraw open in binance BNB
will drop so should i sell now and buy
back after withdraw open ?

thats only a rumours my friend
i think binance exchange will not have a significant impact by the latest hacking actions on that exchange
but, to minimize the risk, i will hold a half my BNB coin and sell it a half
The impact is not too significant on the BNB market, I see the price keep going up following the market trend. Agree, seeing still there FUD
on the BNB market now, then if you want to be safer, you can sell half of it and buy bitcoin which has a greater potential increase.
40  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reaching $7000 so can we confirm the bull run? on: May 15, 2019, 06:45:17 AM
This morning I checked the BTC price with my coffee and I said: "what's going on!" $500 during the night. And I was thinking about @mikeywith Grin
Yet, I prefer to wait a little longer. maybe once we hit $7,500 or $8,000. Which could be tomorrow lol. Since April Bitcoin is doing great during weekends.
And the price has exceeded $8k today, of course prices will continue to rise because the uptrend is still happening. occasionally the price might go down, but that is not a problem, take advantage of that opportunity to buy, because the price will definitely go upagain  and the next target is $10k. maybe it will happen at the end of May.  if the uptrend continues to occur in the long term, bullrun is confirmed
